Our whole family attends CRMA and love it! We started with just our homeschooled children attending but they loved it so much that we all wanted to give it a try. The staff is fantastic and we look forward to every class.

We have been going here about two months and love it. Mr. Scott and Master Scott are great with the kids and its always fun to watch. One of the main reasons for signing up was to improve our sons confidence and have seen a huge improvement in a short time. The facility is large and kept up well. I am sure the adult classes are good too, but we only have experience with the little ninja class. If you have a little one, I highly recommend giving it a try!

We have had our kids in Martial Arts here for 7 years. The instructors here truly care about the students, and provide excellent training in a broad spectrum of martial arts. My daughter earned far more than a Black Belt here, the life lessons and self-discipline reach far beyond martial arts and helped shape who she is today. My 4 year old loves going to class here. The instructors are all very patient and kind to him. This is a very family friendly place with a room for younger siblings who arent old enough to join in.

****UPDATE***** My son has now been with CRMA for a year and he continues to grow and thrive here! It has been absolutely wonderful for him. A lot of kids his age (7) try a lot of different things out until they find what they like best. My son has wanted to stick with this since day one and cannot wait to learn more! The instructors are wonderful, knowledgeable, patient and kind. They never discourage anyone while still teaching discipline and I love that about this place.Just started bringing my son here and he loves it! He is very shy and does not have a lot of confidence. In less than a month I already see improvement. I love the commitment and pricing options offered. My biggest fear is I would end up locked in a contract and my son would hate it. So to have different options is amazing and incredibly helpful. The staff is also very patient and great with kids!

CRMA is the best martial arts school in Douglas County...in Colorado!!! My family trains there 4 times a week. I have seen my son grow these last few years into a leader, teacher, incredibly patient and kind friend (hes only 10). The instructors help all their students really learn and understand the skills and exercises they teach. I have never seen such a community come together as a family and support one another. Its really something special!

Master Scott and his whole team are the real deal. They are wonderful and patient with the kids but have also found the right balance in seriously teaching the relevant skill sets and life lessons. My three kids attend classes here. It has been great for boosting their self esteem and sense of responsibility. It has been fun to watch them work together to practice their skills. They also motivate each other to keep up and advance through the belt system.

My 5 year old son has been attending here for 6 months or so and it’s been the best decision we’ve made! Our children now 7 & 9 have been in Martial Arts for about 4 years. After a brief stint at another academy, we chose CRMA. We can not be happier! Master Scott and his staff are amazing at what they do. They know how to tailor training to different age groups and make sure to split up the class accordingly. Where I had experienced a 40 student to 2 instructor ratio elsewhere, CRMA will split the class into 4 or more groups usually with a ratio of around 7 to 1 (max). The cost / benefit is there! My kids love it and are flourishing. Our goals for the children were respect for others, and authority. Self esteem. Bully - proofing. And eventual ability for my (forever to be petite) daughter to be able to take care of herself in her teenage and later years. CRMA is teaching (and bolstering what we do at home) all of these things!

Super great teachers! It was so cool watching my nephew learn how to protect himself! I have to admit, it was pretty inspiring! The amount of respect everyone has for each other is, I feel, is the best part!

After training off and on for over 20 years, Im super picky about where I train. I studied under various instructors years ago, and have seen my kids study with two other local schools, and Master Scott and the CRMA team is the best Ive ever seen. My kid has studied at this school for one year, and Ive been very impressed. They focus on what matters, and skip all the dog and pony stuff you see at the flashy karate school in Castle Rock. CRMA is the real deal. If youre looking for a martial arts school for you or your kids this is the place to be, but dont just take my word. Go to other schools. Pay attention to their higher belts. Do they impress? Then go to Castle Rock Martial Arts with Master Scott and watch the higher belts. They are impressive. They are what you want to be. This IS the BEST school for martial arts Ive ever seen. Its definitely the best in Colorado.

My son (7) has been attending here for a few months now and LOVES it. The games they play are fantastic and build confidence. The instructors are wonderful and engaging. My son wanted to come here mainly for the weapons class and he has enjoyed learning about the history of different martial art weapons and how to use them properly. As a parent I’m grateful he is learning self defense in the Krav Maga class, such an important life skill. We would highly recommend this studio!!

I attended classes here for about a year. Mostly Krav Maga and Brazilian Jujitsu. Master Scott and the other instructors treated me like family the second I walked through the door. Every dojo offers a chance to learn and better yourself, but what sets CRMA apart is the family atmosphere. From the 1st day you will feel like you are part of an amazing community. Little ninjas is an amazing introduction into learning respect for themselves and others around them, all while building a great foundation. Youth classes build on this and help your child learn how to push themself to become their best in the dojo and within the community. The adult classes will push you to test yourself while striving to be the best version of you. I love spending time in a place where everyone respects each other and goes out of their way to help you achieve your goals.

I started 3+-months ago to take up a new sport after years of Ironman Training and having had a professional coach for two years. I cannot speak more highly of Master Scott and the other Instructors: they take a personal interest in your training and needs. I first took of Krav but felt I needed more technique; I was immediately counseled in a Hybrid Schedule in Youn Wah Taekwondo and Jujutsu: No problem! I highly recommend CRMA.

Any Martial Arts place can be really good like a family, but Master Scott was initially the only one that bothered to call us back or answer questions. As the years have gone by his, and the other instructors, friendship, knowledge, and skill have made all the difference. Ive been there to watch the business grow from nearly the beginning. This would be the choice to make.

CRMA is run by a great family and I have seen a lot of growth in my son that may have not had the greatest confidence or coordination from the start. He was able to try new things that he would not normally have attempted (forward rolls!) and improve mentally and physically because of his practice in martial arts. His favorite is the Kids Krav Maga!

I am 17, and have been taking krav maga at CRMA for almost two years. This is a fantastic place to learn real world self defense that actually works. You will walk out of this school feeling a lot more confident in yourself and your ability to protect yourself and others when needed.

My son has been going to Castle Rock Martial Arts for 2 years. He has learned important life skills such as respect, focus, and hard work. CRMA instructors are great with the kids, making it fun. Master Scott is friendly and genuine, he wants everyone to succeed. Ive always been impressed that Master Scott remembers all his students names, and there are a lot to remember! I also like that I was pushed to sign any lengthy contracts, you can choose to pay month to month. Signing a contract does give you a discount, but you have the option to choose.

About a year a go I signed my son up for martial arts here at CRMA. (We thought it would be good for him (hes 11) and help him build his confidence--which it has tremendously.) After a few months of sitting and playing on my phone while I waited for him, I thought hmmm, maybe instead of just sitting here, I should sign up myself. Then I thought, wait, this would be great for the whole family--so I signed us all up! My daughters were reluctant at first (theyre teenagers) but now love it. Even my wife loves it. It is a great workout and we love the fact that we do this as a family. You cannot put a price on good QT with the family nowadays...Let me tell you about the place. It is clean, organized, warm, welcoming and friendly--in fact, its like a family. Master Scott is personable, funny, and really knows his stuff. Not only is he skilled as a martial artist, but he always shares wisdom about life that is applicable for all ages. My kids love him and all the staff. We have met some great friends here.CRMA offers a variety of martial arts training including Krav Maga and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (my sons favorite). The girls in my fam really benefit from the Krav--and after watching some of the Krav training I know I wouldnt want to mess with these folks who know these skills. We started at CRMA with our little Ninja age 4 and before we knew it less than a year later the whole family found their own niche of training within CRMA. To have the entire family be engaged and train within the same spot is tremendous, as we have spent years prior rushing between soccer and cheer practices with all of us going in different directions. The instruction from Master Scott and his team is top notch and always brings a challenge physically and mentally, keeping the routine fresh. I started going to CRMA two years ago attending the Krav Maga class when I was 52. Not only has it raised my awareness and ability to defend myself, it has also helped get me into better shape. More important than what I have gained personally is that it has given my teenage son and me something to do together. Three days a week we get to spend great father-son time. I have the honor and privilege to train under Master Scott and his instructors at Castle Rock Martial Arts (CRMA), and now my kids are training there as well! (ages 11 and 7)Through the years, I’ve trained under different instructors and different styles (mainly JKA), and I have never been a part of a martial arts family like we are at CRMA. I have been training at CRMA for the past five years, most of that time with my two daughters. This school is legit, and is neither a fight school nor a belt factory. Whether you are into the more traditional martial arts, krav-maga, jiu-jitsu, or whatever - you will find top notch instruction that meets you where you are, and helps to guide you at a very high level through your martial arts journey. The community is genuine, supportive and caring, and all are truly welcomed.

My kids have been attending CRMA for over 2 months. We checked out a couple of other Jiu Jitsu and Krav Maga classes. I think Master Scott (owner) and the other instructor, Scott, do a really great job instructing. They encourage the kids not only to learn the physical movements of martial arts but also to use respect and discipline at all times.

Ive been with CRMA for over 5 years, and it is a fantastic martial arts school. Master Scott is one of the nicest guys youll ever meet. He has an amazing depth and breadth of knowledge across the multiple art forms that comprise the Youn Wha Ryu style (TKD, BJJ, Kung Fu, Hapkido, Judo, Tai Chi, and Karate). He is patient and works very well with the entire range of his students, from the very young through adults. He is also a man of principle and strong moral values. I would highly recommend CRMA to anyone interested in exploring martial arts.
