My son has attending this academy for the last three years, the communication and professionalism here is above and beyond. You also get a family feel not only between students but between all involved in the academy. My son looks forward to attending classes every week and enjoys his time there. Not only does he learn taekwondo but skills for a strong foundation to become a respectful confident young adult. Highly recommend!

Grandmaster Lee is very helpful, nice, and is very open to suggestions for what we do in class. I speak from 4 years of personal experience, and now Dad and I are black belts. This has been an amazing journey. Thank you, Grandmaster, Han Lee!! If your child needs a little (or a lot) of help building confidence, this is the place.

It’s a waste of money for the education you receive. Classes are repetitive, and the instructors have a hard time keeping kids engaged. Not to mention all the hidden fees; tuition plus testing fees, plus uniform fees, plus weapons fees, and more money per month for the more advanced classes. Not to mention, most martial arts belt systems have 10-12 belts before black belt. This place has 13 belts before black belt. A complete rip off.

Were so happy we put our son in this school. Not only has he become more athletic, but confident. He came out of his little shell. The instructors are just awesome. They are so so patient, and kind, they make sure their students dont ever feel left out or overwhelmed. They truly care, Han Lee truly cares. He helped us enforce a huge life lesson w our son. He has a huge heart and his school reflects that:)

Ive been a student of the olympian/Olympic coach Grand Master Han Won Lee for over 12 years. I started when I was 8 years old with my (at the time) 50 year old father. With the Help of Grand Master Lee and his staff I’ve crafted myself into the best version of myself. My father and I are both 3ed degree black belts as well as head instructors. It has absolutely changed our lives in every avenue of life. Our school has the highest quality equipment/latest tech money can buy for Taekwondo, one of the biggest facilities for Taekwondo in the state, and instructors whom attend a class to teach them to be better instructors on a bi-weekly. Our competition team also took 11 metals at the last state championship, making 8 state champions in sparring.Overall this school is by far one of the best choices on the market right now. Highly recommend!

I went to this school for 7 years, and if I could afford it I would go back now. The school doesnt just teach how to defend yourself physically, but it teaches you core values that until recently, I never realized were still ingrained in me. Without what I learned here I dont know if I would be as driven as I am today, and I certainly wouldnt have accomplished so much already.Thank you Grandmaster Lee and Master Tim, and all current and former instructors from this school that trained me. I will never forget my time here!

My son has been a student of Grand Master Lee for almost 10 years. He will be testing for his 3rd degree Black Belt in the next few months. Grand Master Lee, owner of Han Lee’s Taekwondo Academy; formerly known as US Taekwondo Center is a great coach, person and mentor. We feel like we are part of his family as he has watched our son grow and we have done the same with his children. As a former US Olympic Coach and a medalist in the Olympics for Taekwondo, he knows firsthand how to train, inspire and teach my son and all the students he has fostered over the years. The best part of studying Taekwondo with Grand Master Lee is that he provides a well-rounded curriculum. Students learn and practice all the technics and in addition he teaches our kids respect, perseverance, leadership, integrity and a never give up attitude. His standards are high and those who truly want to be better Taekwondo students and achieve more than just a black belt will be best served at this school.Grand Master Lee, Mr. Tim Scott and all the Instructors have demonstrated a commitment to my son and our family; they support the community through a variety of events. We demonstrate our commitment by sharing with you what a good, no, a GREAT program he offers and how pleased we are to be a part of it.You can find cheaper programs; that don’t ask for a commitment, but I would challenge you to look at the caliber of the students’ achievements and what they accomplish to either “get” a black belt or “earn” a black belt- there is a difference. Thank you GM Lee for all you do for our son, your students and our community.

The team and group at the dojo are exceptional the high level of skill and mastery is above the average and the norm. This is a wonderful place to bring your children to learn sound discipline above all have the ability to have some great athletic skills and physical Training. They also offer for parents the ability to come in and take some exercises in the morning 3 times a week. The instructors are exceptional and they really are patient with young children and and can work with any one of all ages. My daughter has been taking Taekwondo for a year and a half at Han Lees Taekwondo Academy and the experience has been phenomenal. She has made tremendous improvement in her coordination and balance. She takes great pride in the skills she has been taught as well as the discipline she has learned. The instructors in the class are all well qualified black belts who constantly show a strong positive attitude. They teach respect and discipline as well as a healthy lifestyle in every class and hold each student to high standards. At the same time, they are considerate of the needs of each student and go out of their way to meet each student at the appropriate level. The cost is comparable to any other extra-curricular sport program. There are multiple classes for each belt level almost every day, and students are welcome (and encouraged) to attend as often as they want. What other sports program can offer classes 6 days a week?Han Lees Taekwondo Academy has far exceeded our expectations. Our daughter is in love with it and the results have been wonderful. We recommend it to anyone.

My sons have been taking Taekwondo for over 3 years now. They started with the little dragons program. While little dragons they worked on confidence and motor skills. Now in the upper level they are learning so much. They are learning to be more confident and respectful boys. Grandmaster Lee has helped my boys learn to be a leader and stand up for themselves. These life skills are helping them in school and life. My boys love going to class and love all their instructors. We are honored and feel very lucky to be members of Han Lees Taekwondo Academy. My wife and I began our Taekwondo training 6½ years ago. Now, at 51 & 59 respectively, we have just earned our second degree black belts. Having always been active, we found Taekwondo to add a whole new dimension to our activity level. Perhaps the most important aspect is discipline, something that is extensively emphasized, and we personally see kids improve in this area every day. Where we have truly benefited is in our flexibility, balance, coordination, and overall control of ourselves. That, and of course, we are Black Belt holders.Grand Master Han Lee is a former Olympic athlete, competing in the 1988 and 1992 Olympic Games, and was a Bronze Medalist in 1988. He has extensive experience training future Olympic athletes at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, and was named USA National Coach of the Year in 1996 by the US Olympic Committee.I highly recommend HLTA for anyone, from 5 to 75, who wants to truly improve themselves. The combination of Grand Master Lee, his schools and skilled staff, and the art of Taekwondo truly are an all-encompassing self-improvement package! It is never too soon or too late!

A great man with a tremendous impact on our family forever!Grandmaster Lee is truly an example and mentor to all! We have been with him for over 4 years and he still dedicates so much time and attention to my children. He truly wants his students to succeed both in and out of taekwondo. He personally takes an interest in each childs success. He has been a true friend and mentor to each of my children and our family. We are blessed by having him a part of our life!May 2019: Our daughter received her black belt this weekend. We now have lots of black belts in our home as a result of Han Lees and his staffs mentoring and instruction. Han Lee made the journey for my daughter just as special and wothwhile as he did for my boys. He is the perfect mentor. Thank you Han Lee!

We first introduced our 9 year daughter and our 6 year old son to HLTA in Castle Rock about a year and half ago through Master Waite (who is wonderful!), and since then it has been the BEST thing we have ever done!!!! We wanted our children to feel a sense of achievement working towards getting their Black Belt and in the process be involved with other kids, exercise, learn about leadership, be in involved with community activities, and understand the importance of training and listening to the instructors. We were so impressed how this was going that both my husband and I have now entered around the same time into the Black Belt program. Were VERY proud to say that our kids love Taekwondo and what Grand Master Lee has taught them, he is amazing!!!

Not the best place. Some of the instructors are not ice, along with it being so expensive. The air conditioning is terrible, so going there in summertime is just a pain. They also have terrible heating, so youll always be cold during winter time. Sometimes the place can be fun, but everything else bad about it, easily negates that. I personally didnt enjoy it, but keep in mind, that you might enjoy it.

My boys and I have been students of Grand Master Lee for 1+ years now. I joined to help my boys improve their respect and discipline, and this goal has been achieved. I continually see improvements in my sons willingness to obey at home and in their behavior. They are constantly asking me when we can go to taekwondo - even after a year - and that says a lot. I would highly recommend Master Lee and his team to anyone.

Our daughter has been at HLTA Castle Rock for 2 years & we love what she has learned so far. Grand Master Lee strives to teach his students not just the physical components of the sport, but also how to strive for excellence in all aspects of life. I also love that at 8 years old she is learning how to be committed with her time & put in the work necessary to reach a long term goal. This has been the only extra curricular activity weve done where I have not felt like I was paying for a social hour.

My son and I started training with Grand Master Lee six years ago when my son was 9 years old. We both are now first degree black belts training for our second degree black belt. Within a year and half of my son and I starting, my daughter wanted to join and she is now 6 months away from becoming a certified black belt herself. We consider it an honor to train with Grand Master Lee. But as important is the culture of respect, self discipline and integrity that everyone in the school embodies. It is not only about the physical training and technique provided by an former US Olympic coach and athlete but also about the training of the mind to cross over into our personal lives that is paramount for our family. I cannot think of anything we have done for our children that has had such a profound effect on their learning about hard work and respect for others than the program we found at HLTA. I would recommend HLTA and the program Grand Master Lee has developed to anyone regardless of age or physical ability. We have found a second family in the School.

We both absolutely love the school- it is our home away from home!As a parent I could not think of a better program for my daughter to be involved in. Not only is she staying active, learning Taekwondo technique and skills and learning how to defend herself, more importantly she is learning how to be a confident, respectful and compassionate person. From Grandmaster Lee my daughter and I have both learned how to become better leaders, goal setters, and all around better people. The life skills learned through Han Lees Taekwondo Academy are priceless. We are very fortunate to have black belts with Han Lees Taekwondo Academy written on them, and I am proud and honored to be a part of this amazing martial arts school.

Our son has benefitted greatly from Grand Master Han Won Lees Little Dragons Program. Grand Master Lee is an Olympic champion, a former United States Olympic Taekwondo coach, and his school is a community asset.Master Glenn Lainfiesta, a 5th degree black belt in Taekwondo, national taekwondo champion, and former captain of the United States National Taekwondo Team, has done a great job with our son and with all of the other Little Dragons. His approach instills discipline, it makes sure our son and all of the other students have a great classroom experience, and it has helped our family. We came to Han Lees Taekwondo Academy because the schools introductory six week offer was a great value, and we stayed with this school after we saw results in our son after about three weeks. Our son, just five years old, became more focused on tasks at home and in his preschool, he became more respectful to us, his parents, and his self confidence improved. We were initially skeptical that a martial arts program for three to five year old kids would be anything but fun time for our son, and we did not plan on continuing our sons study of taekwondo until we started to see results. The first few classes were confusing for our son, which was expected, but he liked going, so we kept it up. At week four, it was clear that our son was learning quite a bit about self control, martial arts, and about himself.I cannot recommend this school enough to other parents: if your 3-5 year old wants to learn how to master his or her environment, this is the way to go.

We looked at a few different taekwondo schools for our 5 year old son. After seeing some of the other schools out there for 5 year olds. We were very happy to find Han Lees Taekwondo Academy and Master Lainfiesta who is the Little Dragons instructor. We were looking for a school that not only would teach our son taekwondo but also respect for others as well as for him self. Discipline in taekwondo and also out side of taekwondo. This is what we have found at Han Lees Taekwondo Academy. The Little Dragons program has a great mix of everything we were looking for.Master Lainfiesta has been not only practicing taekwondo for decades but also teaching it. This really shows in the way he runs his class. He always has a great mix of fun activities as well as technical instruction Our son has learned so much in a short time and always looks forward to his next class. If we were asked to recommend a taekwondo school for young children this school would be the one we would recommend. It is on the expensive side but well worth the investment. your child will be learning so much more the just taekwondo.

I enrolled my 4 year old son in Arapahoe branch and had an unpleasant experience. The whole idea to enroll my kid was to make him learn some discipline and to follow instructions. However, I found the master to be too naive and inexperienced to handle small kids. He also said that my kid does not listen and has to be put on wait list. I may not go there again and neither recommend it to parents looking to enroll small kids.
