Ponderosa High School has had a rocky past with security. School security should be taken very seriously. Douglas County school security should be a top prioity.

Ridiculous that schools were not delayed today due to road conditions. All the wet melt from the weekend storm is now frozen under the snow from last night and I am watching cars and truck spin and spin. Common sense will prevail only when some child is seriously hurt or killed.

I love that DCSD rarely calls snow days, thus forcing the precious snowflakes to experience... snowflakes!

Its a decent place to get your education and find your school records.

You know what Dcsd stands for? Doesnt Call Snow Days. Like seriously i had to goto school in -9 degree weather and with the extesion of icy roads and car crashes. The learning system sucks and i hate it, as does everyone else.

Its so nice I wish I was there for life the teachers and students never give up and they always pay attention there about 30%of disrespect but its the best and all the bullies have been sent to summer school so us kids are free love you county

Apparently the Douglas County School district has forgotten who they work for and whos taxes pay their salaries. If one tries to make an appointment they wont. Instead they tell you to call the school you might be having the issues with and meet with them. The District doesnt have time for you, they only want a paycheck.

Cannot believe that they didn’t cancel school today even though most of the roads were closed. I am appalled

Homeschool before you send your child to this school district.

They never call snow days, my bus freaking slid off the road and we were over an hour late.
