We’ve been going to San Marcos Music Academy for several years now. Bobby and Mario are fabulous and my son really enjoys learning from them (drums, guitar and bass)! Try them out, you won’t be disappointed!

I highly recommend San Marcos Music Academy. Bobby, the owner and drum teacher, is super friendly and very professional. He promotes a very easy-going atmosphere making it easy for people of any levels to begin or perfect their musical passion. As a testimony to his dedication to the kids, beyond the regular private lessons, he organizes and teaches a Rock band camp. He has perfected his drumming skills for a few decades, and played and toured with several bands in his career. If you are thinking about music lessons, contact Bobby or the teachers to explore what works best for you. You will not be pressured to sign up and Bobby will guide you to make the correct choices.My daughter is taking piano lessons with Mrs. Artha who is a fantastic piano teacher. She is equally dedicated to the kids as Bobby is. She organizes several recitals a year for the kids and parents at very minimal cost. She is very sweet and promotes a non-threatening teaching style. She will only push based on your skill levels and your request. She is also a very experienced pianist as she has played the piano most of her life.

Highly recommend. Ive been taking string lessons from Matt Vandel. Started out with guitar and added in ukulele. Matt has amazing skills and more importantly, patience to go with them. He can teach you something no matter what level you are. Bobby, the owner, is always there to greet you. A real genuine person, a plus because he hangs with his Weiner dog. Two of my friends have taken drum lessons from Bobby and cant say enough good about him. Worth checking out! About as good as it gets.

Our daughter has been taking piano lessons with Artha Jackson for almost two years. We are blown away by how much she has learned and how well she can play in such a short period of time. Artha has been a wonderful instructor and a positive influence on our daughter. She has such patience and seems to really understand what type of teaching style works best for each of her students. We think so highly of her that we have recommended her to our neighbors who now take lessons as well. If you are looking for a wonderful and talented piano instructor, Artha Jackson is the best!
