Our family cannot say enough about how wonderful the JCC is! From the fantastic administration and leadership, to the dedicated teachers, and the amazing desk staff, the EVJCC felt like a home from the moment our daughter started attending at around 11 months of age. We stayed with the J from that time, all the way through Pre-K. We went from another daycare, where she was sick daily, to an environment where her health not only improved but became strong and her education thrived. The J has curriculums and our daughter learned to love music, science, books, and more. She developed, not only an appreciation for her education, but a yearning for it! When COVID hit, the J was a safe haven, a place where we did not have to worry about leaving our daughter. She was safe, happy, and always learning. I will never run out of good things to say about this organization! We will be sending out daughter back for fall, winter, spring, and summer camps - not only because it’s like returning home, but because our 5 year old ASKS us when she can go back to the J! If that’s not a glowing recommendation, I don’t know what is!

Our experience at the J for 4 years has been amazing. This is professional childcare facility with experienced staff and leadership. Due to moving we wont be able to attend any more and my first visit to check out a highly recommended preschool was so disappointing. At the J the large classrooms are always clean and organized with a great environment to learn in. There is ample indoor space for when the summer hits vs an extra classroom that is re-purposed at other preschools. We will definitely miss having such a great spot for our child.

Used to be a school k-6th. Overall unhealthy environment. I went there from 2009-2013. They discriminate and let kids bully each other and do whatever they want as long as they like them. If they don’t like a child they will yell at them and punish them when others they like are getting away with the same thing. All the teachers including the principal would gossip about children and their parents. Teachers rarely actually taught the class. Most days you would just play in the classroom all day. They make it very obvious when they don’t like someone and seem to enjoy making them feel out of place and ashamed for whatever they can come up with. It felt like this place was run by children. The only well rounded adult who acted like a normal nice person was the guy in aftercare and the art teacher. I hope that now it has become a better place than it used to be.

Our daughter has been going here since she was 3 months old. Everyone knows her name and always say hi when they see her. The facility is huge, theres so much for the kids to do throughout the day, the teachers are wonderful, and my daughter has learned so much in the year shes been going there. And, you schedule your time there, so you only pay for the hours you use, which is so great. I definitely recommend JCC for daycare.

My wife and I have had our son at this location since he was 6 weeks old. We looked at several other daycares before looking at the J and felt discouraged to say the least with having to leave our child at some of these places for an extended period of the day. We walked into the J with no expectations but were thoroughly impressed when we entered with the cleanliness, safety, and professionalism of the staff. Pam welcomed us and took us into the class our son would be placed in and introduced us to our teacher. The J offers a 4 to 1 ratio student to teacher which is better than the state requirement. When he was very little it was difficult on us to leave him for the whole day but they invited me to come visit him everyday on my work breaks which I did almost everyday. They have sent us countless pictures of him and make us aware if anything comes up we should know about in a prompt manner. I still check in on my son twice a day and am never made to feel like its extra work for them or a hassle. If I am being honest, the outside of the building looks plain and was unsure what it would be like inside. This is a hidden gem. I NEVER write reviews but believe that they deserve the praise as they have certainly earned it. Please at least give them a look before you take your baby anywhere else. My son is almost two now and we still feel the same way about the J. He will be there until they kick us out!

The EVJCC is an excellent pre-school for our 2 children. We know that everyday they are learning and having fun at the same time. It is also nice that even since our daughter was an infant, we were able to take our children to the same place. The teacher to student ratio is great! We love all of the teachers and staff at the JCC as they show so much care for our kiddos. Our kids also go to the Js summer camp which we love. They get to enjoy going on field trips to great places around the valley and it works perfectly with our work schedules. The extracurricular offerings are plentiful as well giving our children a wide range of new activities to try while at school. We would recommend the J to anyone looking for quality care and education for their infant babies to preschoolers!

My husband and I chose the JCC for childcare when our son was a baby...8 years ago...and we have been so grateful to have this community of talented people to help us raise our kids! We love all the services they provide (daycare, preschool, dance classes, summer/school break camps, field trips, etc.) in a safe and secure environment.

I am so thrilled that our family has found the JCC because I had visited no less than 6 daycares before deciding on the JCC. Our child has been attending the JCC infant program since he was 5 months old. The schools ratio of infant to teacher 4 to 1 which is below the state requirement of 5 to 1. The facility is clean and the teachers are friendly and communicate with me whenever something is going out with our baby. Also what I like about the school is they offer a lot of enrichment classes. Right now I am taking our son to the Music and Me class, which is $5 each time but it allows me to spend quality time with my son. Also from August to June each year the center offers parents night out which is one Saturday from 6 to 11pm you can drop off your child for a fee and the school watches them. It is a great program because my son is already familiar with the environment so he would feel at ease with going during the evening. The JCC is structured differently than other daycares, it is more of a school which I am very impressed by because they stress in teaching and good habits than a daycare where someone is just watching my son. Also each month the cost of care is based on how many hours I scheduled. If our family is planning to be away or have grandparents visiting, I am able to adjust my hours so that we can pay less than a full months attendance.

Our son has been attending East Valley Jewish Community Center for just over two years (since he was 6 months old) and my husband and I couldnt be happier! We picked the JCC primarily because they are accredited with the national accrediting body called NAEYC and are also a four star center with Quality First, both of which gave us assurances as to the quality of learning and care. We have stayed because not only has the JCC been such a rich learning environment but the teachers and leaders truly care about their work and the children. Our little guy loves going to school here and has truly learned so much! Their staff to child ratios are also incredible - especially in the infant room where as a parent, you want low ratios. Every day I know he is in a safe environment. I highly recommend the JCC to any parent considering a child care setting.
