First time ever going to a school for a haircut and Sierra was great. She gave me the most relaxing shampoo I’ve had in years, all the scents were amazing. Haylie Prince was amazing! She got my hair from this ugly red color to dark brown that matched my extensions to a T and than to this absolutely gorgeous balayage! This is the second time I’ve come to see Bella B. I had a wonderful experience with her. She was so lovely and she goes in detail on what she’s doing. She did an amazing job with lifting and tinting my lashes. It was my first time getting it done. She made sure I was doing okay by being so gentle and careful with my lashes. The results were stunning. I loved it! My lashes were amazing and they lasted for a long time. She was very professional and the service was top-notch! It was the best service I could ever ask for!

Eliza was SO amazing to me! Came in with blonde hair and grown out dark roots and she was able to get me to the exact shade of red I wanted. Went here to get my hair colored by Jess C. She did such an amazing job!! I love the color and the service was excellent! She was thorough with everything and just a joy to be around. Everyone at the place was very kind and it looked like everyone was having a fun time while they were there. Jess C really knew her stuff when it came to product knowledge and what to do about getting my hair to the color I wanted it to be. I was pleased all around with the experience. I even made an appointment to get my hair cut by her in the same week and will post a review after I get my hair cut. The Aveda Institute Denver is an all around fun and great salon experience. You wont be disappointed!Two visits in one week!!!!So it wont let me post a second review of the place so I am hoping someone there sees this added on and Jess C gets the credit but she cut my hair and (of course) it looks dope! I really love going here. I rarely like going to salons but the people here are great. Its nice to see everyone having fun and loving what they are doing. I had my facial with Bella Blasco and it was amazing! I usually do not go to beauty schools for treatments because I worry about the skill level of the students. However; my experience with Bella was Exceptional! Not only did she do a great job on my skin but she took time to explain to me every step and why she used the products that she used. I left the salon not only feeling rejuvenated but also had an education about the different Aveda skin products and how to take better care of my skin when I got home. I will definitely book with her again in the future. I took home so many new and exciting products and I left confident knowing that these products were the ones for me. The whole experience was first class from the easy checkin and professional staff to the convenient location and parking....and can I say the massage I received was EXCEPTIONAL! Kristen was very intentional to treat my areas of pain and discomfort and provided truly targeted relief. Her professionalism was outstanding and I could tell her clinical knowledge was very high. Having had a lifetime of massages I can honestly say my entire experience with Aveda generally was outstanding and Kristen specifically was superior. ...I will definitely be back!

Booked an appointment months prior for a full foil. Told the student what I wanted and sent photos of my hair to her when I first booked the appointment. Came in and she disappeared for almost 30 min and came back to tell me she couldn’t do a full foil and only could do a partial and that she had “no control over what the front booked me for.” Basically saying it wasn’t her problem that I was booked for the wrong time frame . It wasn’t exactly what I wanted but I agreed because I really needed my hair done and I had waited so long for the appointment in the first place. The instructor came over immediately with a condescending rude attitude, telling me the student couldn’t get my hair to what I wanted and that I needed to do a partial. She continued talking and talking and it became repetitive so I just said it’s fine let’s just get started. Behind me I could see the student rolling her eyes. the instructor continued to ask me if I was okay with leaving with brassy hair- why would I be okay with leaving with brassy hair? Almost like she was saying anything she could do to get me to leave. When I was doing my consult, the student told me she had another requested appointment later so I’m almost sure the student had a friend booked with her and didn’t want to spend the time doing my hair, or she probably just didn’t have the skill set to do it. It’s incredibly unprofessional for teachers to speak to people who are paying customers the way that they do. She didn’t even say sorry, she almost seemed happy when I finally just said forget it abs that I was going to just go. I went to school here years before and they also treated customers badly when I was a student. The student could have just told me she wasn’t comfortable doing my hair instead of disappearing for 30 min and having a very rude instructor come over and give me an attitude for no reason. I just had a baby and haven’t had my hair done in almost 9 months so this was something I was really looking forward to and my experience was completely ruined. Thanks!

This was my second time seeing Joules and she is AMAZING! Super sweet and fun to interact with, and she knew how to make my hair beautiful! I got balayage the first time I came in, and this last time I got layers and a trim. Definitely recommend her and Aveda! The products all smell amazing and are great quality. Not to mention, its SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper than going to a regular salon. It might seem scary to have a student cutting/coloring your hair, but their instructors walk by and check in before the students do anything so dont worry! 100% recommend.

I met Anabelle through a group of women and I was excited to be her balayage hair model. Anabelle was great at communicating before I arrived for my appointment and throughout the appointment itself. Its been YEARS since Ive had my hair professionally colored/dyed/etc. and I am SO glad that I waited so Anabelle could work her magic! I have naturally curly, thick hair. It is hard for me to trust anyone to cut my hair the way it needs to be cut. Kaitlyn G did a trim on my hair in May and did an amazing job. She did long round layers and then did a blow out. I got a deep conditioning treatment and man did my hair need the hydration. I left with my hair feeling and looking a million times better than when I went in.

After not having my hair cut in over a year, it was so fantastic to come to Aveda and get the greys gone and lose a few inches. I had Mars and she did a great job with the cut and color. The salon is large and everyone is spread out - nice new location. I’m ready to start socializing again. Will be making another appointment with Mars again soon.

Recently came in for my first fascial ever. I had the pleasure of receive it from Isabella Castaneda. I wasn’t sure what to expect but Isabella welcomed me and informed me on the whole process. She asked many questions about my skin type and my overall wellness to make sure I got the results that I desired. She gave me great advice on what I should add to my skin care routine as well as making sure I was aware of what would be incorporated in my facial- specifically designed for me. It was centered around aromatherapy and oils- which I personally love. She handpicked oils that she knew would work best with my skin type and sensitivity. It was so relaxing and felt amazing since there were different sensations with everything that she applied - cool, warm. Overall 10/10 and I will be returning. I would recommend Isabella C to anyone that is considering getting a facial from Aveda- professional, great communication and she really knows what she’s doing. You can tell she is very passionate about it which made the whole experience so much better!

I went to get my hair cut by Molly and it turned out great! She was super personable and communicated with me all throughout the session. The concerns I had about volume and heat damage were addressed in a very helpful manner! Overall a great experience!

Genoa did a great job with my long fine hair, which can be challenging! She listened to what I wanted and had a through plan to achieve the cut I desired in an attainable way. She was professional, kind, and you can tell she really enjoys what she’s doing. Big things in store for her for sure! Love my hair!
