I did my micropigmentation training (lips, eyeliner and eyebrows) in March/21 and let me tell you: it was THE BEST training I’ve ever had! I absolutely recommend Modern Beauty Academy for their outstanding professionalism, high quality training program (I want to go back for more trainings) and teaching methodologies! Oxana is genuine and an expert in her craft. I loved everything about this place.

I signed up for the permanent make up class with Mile High Modern Beauty Academy for the month of June 2020. I found this class to be amazing. Oxana has many years of experience and is a wonderful teacher and very professional. I have taken many Personalized training classes over the years and this class has got to be the best one to date. They were very professional. I admire how detailed, thorough & straight forward Oxana is. I appreciated the support of Erica. Any time we need more supplies etc Erica was very prompt to assist. She also, always has great words of encouragement. Our class size was small enough that we were all able to receive the help we needed from both Oxana & Erica. I’ve only taken so much time because I did not want to leave this review flippantly. I wanted to invest a little time just letting you guys know that this teacher really inspired me and was very very attentive when it came to helping me learn. Her expertise in this industry is extraordinary. I continue to not only be inspired by her but also informed. It has been about eight months since I completed the course and I am still able to have an open dialogue with Oksana about any questions I have that will help me evolve in this industry. Hands down one of the best permanent makeup schools in Denver! I have unfortunately had a bad experience at a permanent makeup school in Arvada. Oxana at Mile High Modern Beauty Academy teaches you everything you need to be an amazing pmu artist. Her technique is flawless and you can tell she really cares about her students. I had the opportunity to be a model for one of Oxana’s students to do powdered brows. My background as a clinical educator Rn in the aesthetics area Along with administering botox and fillers requires to be detailed orientated and offer patients in-depth education on their treatments. My expectations are of high standards let me share that with you all ! Aksana taught us all very detailed techniques that are absolutely crucial when it comes to PMU as she has completed so many courses and attended many conferences, has the Knowledge and expertise. She is very light handed and she taught us how to work gently on the skin without causing too much trauma, using light pressure and shading/practicing on a daily basis. She dedicated a lot of time to sanitation and explained how important it is to keep everything clean, sanitary and disinfected.

One of my favorite places to visit when Im in Denver. A session with Oxana feels great. My eyelashes look 100 times better after she works on me. She does that with great attention and it is a really easy to talk with person. Very communicative and interesting. Great and talented worker as well. Recommended.

Oxana changed my life. I had permanent cosmetics done else where which resulted in uneven, black brows. After several sessions of removal, I visited Oxana and she was able to give me stunning, perfectly shaped brows. I feel like myself again! Her eye for color, shape, etc. is spot on and she is so detail oriented and highly educated. She was so professional and the environment was clean and beautiful. This rating is for their booking process. There is no way to speak with a live person to schedule an appointment. I found it highly inconvenient to download an app on my phone in order to schedule an appointment, after 20 minutes of trying to get the app to download I gave up! Also, called the 800 number only to be referred back to the app, sent an email and did not get a response. What if I had a reaction after a treatment for $250? No way to even follow-up with someone.

Being in the beauty industry for over 6 years and finding classes and teachers who actually care is very rare to find. I did tons of research to find the perfect PMU class. I stumbled across Oxana and Erica’s class and it just stood out to me. They were very good on responding back and very detailed with information about what the course offered. I am so glad to have found this class. Tattooing is not an easy task. But once I was done with this course I felt very knowledgeable and confident with pursuing cosmetic tattooing. Oxana is very professional and passionate about permanent makeup, as she is constantly working be the best at what she does. She microbladed my brows a couple of years ago, and I recently came back for powder brows. I am a perfectionist, but could not be happier with how they have turned out both times. I explained specifically what I was looking for, and they turned out exactly how I wanted. I’m moving soon but will be coming back to Denver for anything else I might want.

Oxana did my microblading as a student at Montage Academy in Longmont. Ill admit, I was skeptical because it was cheap and I was a model for students, but I came out more than satisfied. I could tell she was 100% in to her line of work when she didnt require much input from the highly distracted instructor and took time in making sure I was satisfied. We spent a long time on the stenciling process because of my doubts, but the endless answered questions by her made me feel so much better. I get compliments on my brows DAILY because I had very minimal and now theyre perfect. Oxana is very attentive, caring and so extremely professional. I have spoke to her on a number of different occasions since my microblading for other procedures and she is always so wonderful. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for lashes or permanent makeup!

When I moved to Denver for work, I had to find a new lash stylist. I found someone else in uptown through Yelp reviews and was going to her for the first month after I had arrived with less than satisfactory results, having to go in almost every week to have a fill done because the lashes were falling out so easily when Ive normally gone 3-4 weeks between fills in the past, even with leading a very active lifestyle. I was nervous while searching for a new lash tech because I was afraid it would be the same or worse.Oxana was wonderful and very patient when I met her. Some places charge extra fees to fix damage done by other lash techs, but Oxana doesnt charge though she probably should since she really takes the time to make sure your lashes look as beautiful as the possibly can. She always did such a great job on my lashes and I always felt confident that they would look beautiful.The most important thing for me is her technique is so good that her lash application has never left my natural lashes balding - that is, she applies the lashes individually so multiples arent sticking together, causing your own lashes to get pulled out when you try to brush them because theyre knotted. In the past, Ive had to go on breaks from getting my lashes done so that my natural ones could fully grow out and be viable for lash applications.The salon is located inside the Phenix salon studios. Its very sanitary, private and quiet in her little space. I often would use my appointments to catch a midday or afternoon nap because its so cozy and Oxana usually had some relaxing music playing.I highly recommend Mile High Lashes for any pampering!
