I went in for my drivers test. My instructor was Matt H. he was fantastic. It felt like he wanted me to pass but more than anything to really learn the correct and safe way to drive. Very professional, quick, and painless.

Went there for my permit and drivers test and they were beyond helpful and kind. I took my drivers test with Andy, he told me what to keep an eye on, always gave me little tips, and he is a dope guy in general. I couldn’t be happier!

I was super nervous before the test 😪 but my tester was Matthew Hernandez he helped calm my nerves! Also he maintained a level of professionalism by not answering my continuous stream of questions while I drove! I appreciate DriveSafe and their staff. I drive regularly 5 miles under the speed limit. I was told because two times I went five over the speed limit I failed my test. I dont speed. Part of the test was on Colfax. Cars were passing me like I was standing still. You dont even get a second chance to take the test. $89 to come out empty handed. Went to Community Driving School on following Wednesday and passed. With flying colors i might add. No refresher course taken. I think this business is just corrupt.

Matt Hernandez at the Denver location had a great sense of humor, a calm demeanor and helped me to stay relaxed and attentive during my drive test even though I started out as a stress ball! Just took my driver’s license test with Matt Hernandez and he made what I thought would be a very stressful experience almost enjoyable. He let me know some automatic fails to be mindful of before I drove, was clear on instructions, and also was a very great person! how I would highly recommend taking your test/classes here.

Drive safe is great! Matt Hernandez and Phydell Paris taught me how to jump start a car. It was super useful and they were both really nice. Drive safe definitely helped me prepare for the future.

Went in to take my driving exam with Matt Hernandez since I needed to get my Colorado drivers license and he was so nice and informative as well as detailed on what I should lookout for on the road here. I highly recommend him if you are taking your test as hes very helpful.

I took the one hour lesson and then a driving test directly after. During the lesson, my driving instructor, Lisa Tchouaffe, could not have been more helpful as she showed me everything I needed to tweak in order to perform well on the test. She was very thorough and consistent, really calming me down and making me feel prepared before the test. I would definitely recommend Drive Safe to anyone looking to get their license. 10/10.

Our son took a Defensive Driving Class with DriveSafe. With an instructor in the car, our son hit a tree causing over $20K in damages to our vehicle. DriveSafe has not reimbursed us for any of the damages.I would not recommend DriveSafe.

Rip off. They took $98 out of my pocket. Any excuse was good to make me take a second test. Ive been driving for years and now they make it look like I dont know what Im doing... I wasted my time, my money and on top of that today was my only available day.... Dont take your kids over there it would be even easier for them to rip them off. Just disgusting to see what people do to get the money out of your pocket.

I took the the permit test that you take to the DMV and I when I went their they said the test I took is not a valid and that I need to call and get a refund. I called to get a refund and they completely refused. They scammed me out of 90$ and made me take a test was that was completely useless. Do not go here, save yourself the money and hassle and just go straight to the DMV.

I’ve previously taken a drive test at this location and had a great experience. I passed the test with no issues and got my license. I recently had my license privileges taken away and have been working to get my licenses back. I thought that going through drive safe would be a great idea considering I had no issues with getting my license last time. Today I went in for a drive test at the colfax and grape location where I was scrutinized by not one but two drive instructors., considering this was not policy last time this was very strange to me considering we are in a pandemic as well.and cramming 3 people in a small car seemed very strange and definitely not safe. I was told that he was to be in the back and that it would be no problem and that to “pretend like he wasn’t there”. I find this extremely funny and hypocritical because at the end of the drivers test BOTH instructors discussed how I did and came to a mutual agreement that I did not pass. Thank you drive safe for failing me because you had 2 drive instructors scrutinizing my every move and mistake made. Thank you drive safe for ripping me of 80 dollars. I’m sorry but how can a 16 year old with no driving experience pass no problem but the same 19 year old can’t pass? I will never be doing anything with the company again and DO NOT RECOMMEND! PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO ANYWHERE BUT HERE!!!!Hi drive safe team here’s a response to your previous response to me! If It was only up to the certified instructor weather or not I passed then why did I have to leave so they could discuss my driving. It sounds to me like the uncertified or instructor who was renewing certification most definitely had a say in my passing or failing of my driving exam .. I actually went to a different drive school today called Excel in driving and had a great experience! Not only did I pass my test with ZERO issues but they didn’t cram multiple people into a small car! I think drive safe just likes failing people and taking there money. PLEAAE DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS PLACE!!!! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! I will enjoy a lifetime of safe driving with my new license that drive safe prohibited me from getting because they like stealing peoples money.Oh and not to mention most places are about 20 dollars cheaper and allow retakes if you fail the first time. Don’t waste your money go somewhere else

My experience was awful. Im still shocked that it occured. There was the lie about being able to walk-in. Using my race as my last name in emails, when my last name was given via my ID and email. And management dismissing my feelings and hanging up on me.

I called twice to get back to back refreshing and driving test. At first they could not find any availability but when I called for the second time they booked me in just the way I asked for. When I went to the location ( mine was in Denver) I found myself very stressful. Luckily my instructor (Mr Ken Hurst) was a very understanding man,he calmed me down during the one hour training session , corrected my mistakes and gave me good hints about driving.I highly recommend Mr Ken Hurst. He is the best driving instructor any one can wish for :)

I called drivesafe with great passion,pride, and exciment; and schedule a driving appointment. I was so excited to make this appointment all day and I nearly sh$t my pants from excitment. Sadly I was extremely dissapointed and find my call to be lackluster and exquisitely disrespectfull. I called and a women named Amy answered. From the very begining she was extremely rude and hostile and it really set off a negative vibe.

Dont usually leave reviews ,but the experience I had with Drivesafe Driving School was exceptional.I was nervous about my driving test ,thats why decided to take one hour practice test. Definitely dont regret about it . My instructor Bernie was very helpful and knowledgeable. He made me feel comfortable from the beginning ,pointed out what I had to focus on. Because of his tips ,I was confident during the driving test ,used his tips ,and thankfully I passed 🚗Dont think twice ,give them a call and schedule your appointment!

I took the hour refresher course and drivers test. Ken made me feel relaxed and let me know the areas where I need to focus on before the actual drive exam. The car was very easy to drive. I recommend DriveSafe to everyone who needs to get their license, especially adults that havent driven in a long time.

Covid-19 conscious as you have to gloves, masks and pencils to take tests both written and practical.

The people on site were very friendly and laid back. My kid needed additional accommodations to take the test and the manager went through a lot of trouble to make sure it was done fairly and properly. This included dealing with some difficult issues that was nobody’s fault. I really appreciate their professionalism and kindness. My daughter was beaming when she left!

Wish o could give 10 stars. What I thought was virtually impossible Cody made possible. I would recommend this office to go straight there. Little extra effort but so worth it. DMV said 10 to 12 weeks Cody did it all in 1 day. I cannot thank and praise the staff of this location enough. If you need your license takin care go here.

Very friendly people. I was there just for a drive test but compared to regular DMV experience, this is just something from another world. Yes, you have to pay for that (and a bit more than are charging other companies - here its for 79, others charge 59) but youll get full service, appointments made in couple of days and helpful people around.

Literally the best experience with any driving Academy, highly recommend this location Ken was awesome, Dont even be nervous, it took 12 minutes!

Went during winter failed my first test but got another test when it warmed up passed everyone was calm and informative.

It is worth taking a class before the exam because it helps a lot with small very important details, maybe how Latino I did not know and Andy Rodriguez was an excellent instructor, very professional and also speaks Spanish that helped me learn and understand faster.
