This school and course was so excellent. Patrick and his team are excellent teachers and mentors. I not only leaned what I needed to for the exam, but learned real life examples and scenarios that really helped me understand the concepts on a deeper level. All of the teachers have been in the real estate business for 30-40+ years, and so they really know what they are talking about. The class is very well structured and they really make sure you participate in class to keep everyone engaged. I took the full time in person class, and commuted from Boulder everyday, and it was well worth it! It was very demanding and tough, but if you put in the work, itll make a world of difference. Patrick and his team were always one phone call away when I needed help at home. I started the course 08/16, and just yesterday on 09/24 I passed the PSI exam on the first try! I can understand the frustration some people have had with this course. The technology was a little outdated. But sometimes simple is better. I did the online class. I really enjoyed being able to pause the videos, a definite advantage over the classroom lessons. The technology isnt super fancy, but its functional.The bottom line is, getting a real estate license is hard. And its work. No course is going to change that. Theres no shortcut or easy way out. You just have to do the work. And most other online courses wont do nearly as good a job as this one, when it comes to preparing you for the exam.I had a few little complaints along the way, of course. No course is perfect. But I got through it and passed my exam the first time with flying colors. And the main, most important thing was every time I had a question, I could call or email Patrick Armbrust himself, and get a helpful, friendly answer any time I had a problem.I mean, talk about great email/phone support. No automated system or call center in a different country. Straight to the person most able to help you - the guy who wrote the course and still teaches it. He gives his personal email and cell phone number to every student, and he answers it. I never had a question go unanswered for more than 24 hours. He normally got back to me in less than an hour or two at most. And I asked a lot of questions.Like I said, no course out there is perfect, but some are much better than others. There are a lot of really bad ones being sold with flashy ads, especially online. Just look at the Armbrust website. They have a link that will take you to the states public record on pass/fail numbers for the License Exam. The numbers there speak for themselves. Other options are cheaper, but look at the pass/fail statistics. You get what you pay for.Im pretty confident saying you could do a heck of a lot worse than Armbrust. I have only done the initial licensing course. I havent done any of the continuing education courses yet so I cant speak to that. But when it comes to getting your license, I dont know of a better option for Colorado, and I did an exhaustive amount of research.If anyone asks me where they should take their license course, I tell them Armbrust. Period. No hesitation. If youre looking to get your real estate license in the state of Colorado, I think youd be a fool to go anywhere else. If youre willing to put in the work, you will pass your exam.And no, Im not affiliated with Armbrust in any way. This is just an honest review from a guy who took the course and passed his license exam. I hope someone out there finds it helpful.

This school was really good in teaching what is needed to pass the national and state real estate exam. All of the instructors were excellent in teaching the material and bringing in practical real life examples to make the material more relevant. There is a lot to learn and the instructors at Armbrust ensure that you learn the material not just memorize concepts.

I am very grateful for Armbrust and all their support. The Armbrust educational program (online) prepared me for the national/state exam better than any other program in my opinion. I had to retake both portions of the Armbrust (competency) exam but passed both portions of the PSI (licensure) exam on my very first try. Goes to show that Armbrust, though challenging, ensures youre set up for success.Not only did they put me in a position to pass my PSI exams on my first attempt, but theyve been available for me every step of the way and are still available even after I passed. I left a voicemail earlier today, two weeks after passing, with questions regarding how to find an employing broker. I took this class asynchronously online on the East Coast and I have to say- not only did I pass the state/national exams with flying colors, but I felt that I had been in the actual classroom with the instructors. Both professors were phenomenal- I have never had a more positive educational experience even at my (far more expensive) university. Not only were the courses laid out in an extremely organized and digestible manner, but they actually care- your support does not end the day you pass the final. If you dont believe me, look up the publicly available test results by school (thats how I was lucky enough to find this place to begin with.) I could not recommend Armbrust Real Estate Institute more!

They were very thorough in their lectures and were well-equipped with real-life scenarios as they explained the various aspects of real estate. Your time doesnt end with them after you pass the exam. Armbrust is worth every penny! I just took my PSI Real Estate Exam and scored high and I attribute it to the EXCELLENT instruction I received at Armbrust. They are 100% invested in their students success. You can reach out to them day or night for help and questions. It was great to be able to go to an in-person class but I HIGHLY recommend that you get the hybrid program too. For an extra 40.00 you have access (on your computer) to ALL of the classes. So if youre ill or busy or the weather is bad, you can view the online class and get credit for attending that class. I also found the online classes to be an excellent source for review when I was still a little uncertain about a concept. I definitely made the right choice going with Armbrust. Now the real work and fun begins!

There is a reason why Armbrust has such a high first-attempt pass rate. I had an amazing experience with the online course. They are knowledgeable and thorough! They have broken down the process to attain a deep level of understanding and retention of information on complicated material. If you follow the guidelines set forth, you will be successful! I was nervous, knowing many people who did not pass on their first attempt, but I passed the PSI exam with a 94% on the state portion and 95% on national. Choose Armbrust! You will not regret it.

I am 2 weeks into the digital course and just attended a weekend zoom Q&A with Patrick and all I can say thus far is this company is outstanding.I purchased a lessor / cheaper course and returned it after 2 days. Armbrust has the highest pass/fail rate out of all the companies I researched and I can honestly now see why.Extremely thorough! High quality materials! and as former educator I am very impressed with the delivery and content design. If youre on the fence about which class to buy or take look no further. I just passed the National and State exam last week with high scores on my first attempt. The credit goes to Armbrust and their teaching staff. I opted for the Hybrid class and received the link to the videos several weeks before my first actual class. This gave me the opportunity to listen to many of the videos prior to the start of in person class. What a difference that made for me! Hearing the material a “second time” in class with Pat and Dave was extremely helpful. It’s amazing what you miss the first time listening, as there is a ton of material to absorb! The online videos done by Pat and Dave are fantastic! Extra Kudos to Davids videos! He was great at simplifying and explaining calculations. Initially, I was planning to go through Kaplan for my Real Estate education, but when I was on hold 45 minutes both times I tried to call and ask questions, I knew I needed something else. I was referred to Armbrust by a Realtor, and I’m so grateful I was!!I participated in the part-time, hybrid course, attended every class in person, but had the option to watch online if needed. I started classes April 19th and I passed the licensing exam June 7th. If you’re wondering where to get your licensing coursework, your search is done. I just recently finished the broker program at AREI. I struggled a bit during the program with the fact that Pat and Dave are VERY specific about how they want you to study/learn the material. They are adamant that you do it their way. If youre stubborn like me, you wont like this. Just listen to them. As much as I wanted to do it my way, I did it their way and I passed my PSI test with a 96.2% on the national and 82.4% on the state. I highly recommend the program. I felt that it prepared me for the exam which, at the end of the day, is what you want out of it. Pat and Dave are a wealth of knowledge and great resources.

Best Real Estate school in Denver! Ive been coming here for my RE license and continuing education for 21 years.

Armbrust is the premier real estate school in the Denver area. At a friends party one night I randomly met 3 prior AREI graduates. I decided on the 100% online courses route during Covid-19 in case the state shut in-person classes down. While the courses were both challenging and time consuming, they taught me what I need to know to confidently get started in my real estate career. Pat goes above and beyond to ensure his students have the tools necessary not only to pass his test, but the PSI exams as well. He has been holding Zoom calls almost every Saturday night for at least an hour to answer any and all questions his students have. Sometimes, former students even joined to fill in currently enrolled students on what to expect once they pass the exams and start looking at brokerages. Over all, it has been a wonderful experience at Armbrust Real Estate Institute, and I would recommend them to any friend in the future who wants to start a career in the Colorado real estate market.

Same story as everyone one below. I did hybrid classes but I ended up doing mine all online. passed the class test first try, passed the PSI test first time. 96.7% national test 79.7% colorado test. Put in the time and reap the rewards.

The online course is very thorough and allows you to pause and rewind as needed. You also are offered the opportunity to take as many lessons in person as well. The staff is very responsive when any questions arise. The curriculum is set up well to be able to retain the information to help you pass the state exam the first time and beyond into your career. Ill be going back for my CE.

Two Questions: 1- Is it possible to have mentor you never met? 2- Do you know the difference between a Real Estate Broker and a Real Estate Counselor? Well, after having Pat in my head for over a month, I now know the answer to question 2. They say that a Student inherits his traits from his Teacher. Well, the more I listened and heard the passion in Pats voice throughout the course, the more I wanted to be like him. Even my wife, who is doing her studies through another school, couldnt deny how well-structured the course was. My oldest son came to me and said Dad, hes really good. Even I can understand this. Thats coming from a 14-year old by the way. Look, I only chose this school because it was 10 minutes away from my home. Now I know better. I didnt choose this school, something else did, and I am grateful for it. Oh yeah, I passed my PSI Exam on my first try, scoring over 90% on both tests.

I completed the online course last month and recently, very easily passed both the state and national real estate exam. I found the course to be interesting and convenient. The quizzes and exams that are part of the course were excellent preparation for taking the licensure exam. There are probably easier and cheaper programs out there, but remember the old adage that you get what you pay for and coursework that challenges you is coursework that prepares you. This program was hands down the best. It was exceedingly more than I expected. Patrick is an amazing teacher and makes the concepts extremely easy to comprehend. He attaches real world stories to the concepts so that they can be better understood. This course I felt prepared me extremely well for the State and National Exam and although it was a very difficult test, I had the foundation of knowledge to figure out the correct answers and pass the State and National Exam. Patrick and his staff are extremely helpful, friendly and very responsive. This was definitely not easy but if you put in the time and effort this school prepares you VERY well. I 100% recommend this school! I cannot thank Patrick and David enough for making this program very enjoyable. Even after you get your license they are there to help you and really do care about each of their students individually. I took the online course and have never even met Patrick in person but even after passing the test to get my license he continues to help me start to build my business on an individual level. I didn’t realize how much information would be required to pass the test to get my license....So thank goodness I enrolled in Armbrust! The instructors have years of experience in real estate and are not only experts in teaching the information needed to pass the state exam.....they also use their real life experiences to teach us how to use the information in real life real estate situations. I just took the state test and passed with grades in the 90’s... ALL DUE TO THIS SCHOOL!! They teach exactly what’s on this test! It’s a ton of information but if you do what they tell you to do...every step of the way, passing is a sure thing!!!! But there are no shortcuts.... you must put in the time and do the work!

I took the online course in lieu of the classroom course due to the distance. The course materials were thorough. If you follow the course as instructed will have no problem passing your exams. If you do not understand any portion of the course you can go back and read the material or watch the videos again. They do offer Zoom meetings that enable students to ask questions and learn from each other. Additionally, you call call them directly for further one on one questions. AREI sincerely wants you to succeed in not only passing your exams, but also in your career. I would highly recommend AREI to anyone wanting to pursue a career in Real Estate.

I have taken two online courses from Armbrust-the real estate licensing class and more recently the broker reactivation course. Pat is the instructor for both. He clearly conveys both the more abstract and practical concepts clearly. I found that the licensing class prepared my quite well for the state exam. Not sure if instructors at the other schools do this, but you really can contact Pat with questions not just about class but also to get career advice. He typically responds the same day. I highly recommend Armbrust!

Thank you for such an accessible remote learning course, including excellent materials and instruction. I am not a great student with remote learning yet by following the course and your review instructions I passed both the National & State licensing exams on my first try. With flying colors even!I was unsure about signing up for the AREI class because I knew that I would have to do it remotely due to my husband and I being high-risk for complications from COVID-19. Previously, I had attempted to get my license by doing another (big name) remote learning course. It was a total disaster. The videos were so dry and factual as to be totally inaccessible, and the materials were worse. The big differences for me with your course were: 1) the way you summarized the reading materials; 2) how you presented information in a conversational tone; 3) the chapter specific outlines; and 4) the way you brought in real-life stories to highlight the course concepts. This combination made the information real to me, and helped keep the concepts in my head in a way that allowed me to apply them to different situations as opposed to simply memorizing facts.

I passed the first time with scores in the high 90s for both National & State this past Friday June 4th, 2020.Even though I took their course 2 years ago as a refresher after my license expired in 2006, the studying contents, test questions and detailed explanations for every topic allowed me to truly felt prepared!

I cannot recommend Armbrust enough. Patrick and his team are fantastic teachers and they will always be there to support you both in class and beyond. I purchased the hybrid program but ended up just taking all classes in person and used the online videos later on as refreshers before the test if I felt like I needed them. This is a very structured program and is so because Patrick and his team absolutely know what they are teaching, and make positively sure you know what is necessary to pass the licensing exam on your first try. I am no perfect student but I only missed a handful of questions on the PSI exam thanks to the instruction from Armbrust REI. Living north of Denver, my commute to class would be roughly 90 minutes each way (with traffic) but I would definitely do it all again if I needed to. I certainly hope to return for CE classes!

Taking the broker courses at AREI will give you the best chance of passing the state exam on your first try. Period. The courses are extremely thorough and well written. The schedule is quite flexible, and the staff are friendly and accommodating. Pat and Dave are brilliant. They will do whatever it takes to make sure you get the education you need, not only to get licensed, but to have a leg up in starting your new career in real estate.

As a student, you have to complete the required reading and work, and be attentive and engaged in class; however, you will have unknowingly gained the necessary knowledge and be fully prepared to pass the national/state exams on your first attempt. My experience at AREI was incredible! The teachers are incredibly knowledgeable in the educational, legal and practical stand point when it comes to Real Estate. It was not an easy process but Pat and Dave told me to hang in there and put my mind to work in the material, that everything would come together by the end of the course. Eventually, all of it made a lot more sense just like they said. I was well prepared for the PSI exams by that time and even obtained a high grade on the first attempt on both portions. I just passed the state exam this past Saturday first go and with flying colors! I took the distant learning route; I have a pretty demanding job so there was no other choice. Although I know I learn better in the class room this distant program was GREAT! I was able to do it in my own time, they have a very well structured program that holds you accountable all along the way. The content and instructors were top notch.Following the program as they recommended ensures I passed the state exam easily.Additionally, David , Pat, and Kasey were always so easy to reach.I highly recommend this program it is worth the investment.

Armbrust was very highly recommended to me but unfortunately my experience with them was TERRIBLE! I spent more than 5 months with a lot of homework more than 25 (quizzes and exams) sometime with 160 questions. Then I finished the 168 hours and I didn’t know we have only two opportunities to take the tests like National and State kind. The institute send me a email that I had to do the full 168 hours again and try to pass the test only twice for give me my hours. I had no idea this was their policy, and it isnt in writing anywhere. They would not let me take the test again unless I did all of the videos all over again and pay $300(online) or$425(personal). I called Mr.Patrick Armbrust and he told me that I didn’t pass the test because my first language is Spanish it was difficult for you to pass his exam. Let me tell you something Mr. Patrick I am investment person with my property management by myself and NEVER my first language It has been a problem. Another thing what you have in your institute is a financial filter, I explain, it is intended that students take a national and state exam (not count) and if the person does not pass it then it is time need to pay again, this is an ABUSE. If one is looked for an institute, is for take the 168 hours and then present those exams with PSI. I have reviewed many reviews of people who have had this bad experience like me, and they are Realtors of course they had to do the course but with another school. Unprofessional and rude

DO NOT GIVE THIS PLACE YOUR MONEY - But apparently they take it without authorization. I signed up for hybrid classes (in person classes with online course access) and had to put my account on hold (which you are allowed to do) because of personal circumstances and had planned to resume at next class in March. I paid the majority of the course costs when I started and was scheduled to pay the rest when I resumed classes. Well, AREI stopped having on campus classes due to the pandemic. They called me at the end of April and said they needed the rest of the money and that they were taking my account off hold. I told her that I wasn’t taking my account off of hold until AREI was not able to provide in person courses. She said that I could use the online courses (which are prerecorded videos and NOT live instructor based courses) but I reviewed those previously and they are in no way adequate for learning for me. I would equate them them to amateur YouTube tutorials. They lady said that they hoped to be open for the May class And that I could attend that one which they were not. Did that stop them from removing the rest of the money from my account during a WORLDWIDE PANDEMIC? Nope! They took it right out without being able provide any in person instruction. I asked for a refund and they said “We feel like we held up our end of the bargain. You should have been finished by now.” Even though you have 6 months to finish the course. How insensitive and just plain wrong is that? Anyway, of the $1000 or so that I paid, I am only getting about $400 back after they deduct their cancellation fees and “course material”. I lost money by cutting ties with them but that just how wrong I think they are. These people are heartless - I can’t believe it.

Patrick and Dave are great instructors. The method of teaching is interesting and practical. The staff are kind and responsive. I highly recommend this school not only for the education, exam, but also for fully understanding the knowledge, process and practices that will be used in real estate career. Excellent program! I completed the course in December of 2019 and even after taking a week long vacation (not recommended of course) I passed my PSI exam first try. The value of the material definitely surpasses the price. Each one of the teachers clearly explains all aspects of the Federal and Colorado law. Not to mention the entire section to business growth. You really can not choose a better school!

Best classes on Real Estate out there. Took his courses. Came back for Jelly Donuts if an agent has not learned the extras you get with these classes they are at a disadvantage. People rate Armbrust poorly because it is the hardest out there. It is harder but look at there pass rate. Look at the extra you get with them. Worth 10x the cost and easily the best you can get in CO.

I passed my exam last week on my very first attempt. A lot of credit goes to Pat and Dave for pushing through a tough but well-thought out curriculum. Its not an easy course but you will be exposed to a wealth of knowledge combined with solid tools on ethics, discipline and an array of other things that will come in handy for any successful career. Study hard, listen carefully, ask smart questions and Pat and Dave will set you up for success

I just passed my Brokers exam on the first attempt with both tests averaging around 90%. They say not to worry about your score because it’s pass/fail but I think the high average shows how much of the information I knew and credit due to the school for an outstanding program. It was really important for me to get completed with my online classes quickly and pass the exam. This institute made that possible so I feel like it is 100% worth it if you are researching your options.

I just finished the AREI Online Program and passed the National and State exam with PSI on my first try. My overall experience was pleasant and professional. My advice for individuals considering AREI, follow the program by doing exactly what they tell you. There are no shortcuts to obtaining a real estate license - I cannot stress this enough!! Just took the Mandatory Real Estate Commission Update course. Patrick makes this class interesting and informative. I appreciate the opportunity to ask questions as we go along. I have been taking some classes at AREI for many years.

I highly recommend this school to anyone that is serious about getting their real estate license. There is a ton of content that you will need to retain in order to pass both examinations and become licensed, Pat has nailed down a system that works and gets you fully prepared to tackle the exams. Im not much of an online learner, so I completed the course by attending the on site classes which I would highly recommend as there are so many stories they share that help you remember the content. The school is definitely run with a no BS approach- if you show up, pay attention and do your homework you should have no problem passing the exams.

At the age of 66, I decided to start a new career. Armbrust on line classes allowed me to do that. I made a 6 month commitment to complete the 168 hours. It was a very grueling 6 months. Taking the exams about did me in. The staff at Armbrust were very supportive in wanting to see me complete the course. Last week, on my first attempt I passed the CO Broker, National/State.

If you are serious about success in real estate, choose Armbrust. Here are a few reasons why: 1. After finishing the classes, I passed the test the first time! The test administrator expressed shock at this, she pointed out that only about 25% of test-takers pass on their first time. I can promise you its not an easy test and you dont want to take this one more than once.2. I was super successful my first year (and every successive year since)! Several of my new agent peers quit in the first two years as a result of not feeling prepared for what this work actually demands (yes, even a few who were absolutely sure thats what they wanted as their career). None of them had gone to Armbrust. They make sure that you know what you have to do to succeed.3. Yeah, its probably a bit harder than other programs. Comparing real estate school notes with several peers, I can tell you that youll study really, really hard. Patrick Armbrust will ask a lot of you. However, making a living selling real estate is (spoiler alert) really, really hard. If you are truly serious about it, I highly recommend setting yourself up for the most likely chance of success and doing work through Armbrust.Heres how it went down for me: I finished school and getting my license in 2015, sold over $3M my first year, over $10M my second year, and with my spouse, now have my own successful brokerage.

Dont waste your time here. Pat will yell at you for being a couple minutes late to class, wont let you write down any notes, or ask any questions. I was told that I didnt know anything, which is no way to run a school. Its not a fun environment to be in and they dont care about their students. I have met several other people that left Armbrust as well with terrible experiences. Compare the reviews of Armbrust and American Real Estate College, that speaks for itself!!

I attended their school over six years ago when I studied to get my RE license. I still utilize their online courses for my nearly all of my CE credits. Pat does a great job teaching especially in a way that we can apply to our deals everyday and he makes the content easy to understand. They are easy to work with and they support you even after graduation. Highly recommend!
