Enrolling in Colorado Real Estate School was one of the best decisions Ive ever made! So grateful for the amazing staff and instructors! There is so much information to learn, but the way the classes and exams are given are so helpful and informative! Love the format of having it online and learning with videos and reading. I did great on the state & national tests (90+%) and owe it all to the instructors! Ive joined an incredible brokerage and so excited for the start of my Real Estate career!

Poor quality: There is an instructor in this course who is so hard to follow, lets call him Ned. He can barely string together coherent sentences, just reads the power point slides, most of the time with no further explanation, and just repeats the same uninformative information. I noticed that his first lecture did not show up until I was almost halfway through the course, and if one of his had been at the beginning, I would have immediately asked for my money back, too late now.Poor value and communication: There are so many errors in the reading material, sometimes making it impossible to get the actual and important information across.Not professional: I have contacted the school several times about glaring mistakes asking for correction or clarification with no return communication.Poor value: It may be cheap, and it may actually get most of the information across, although, I am finding myself having to learn concepts on my own and with the help of google most of the time. BUT this inept instructor is making the process very frustrating.I really wish I had spent the extra money and gone with another program. This is my WARNING to all prospective CRE School students. Im not really sure where all the glowing reviews are coming from. Read some of the other negative reviews and they are saying the same thing as me.

I spent $500 on classes through CRE School. I took notes on everything, studied regularly, passed through the course work with relative ease, and studied their exam prep almost daily in preparation for test day. I still have all of it saved on my phone and computer. Come test day, I was lost on a lot of the questions the exam asked me. Which surprised me, I thought I was well prepared after all. I ended up failing of course. In multiple of the lessons, John says things like Dont worry the actual exam wont cover this. Or You can worry about this on your own time. Those are the exact things I missed on the exam. Colorado Real Estate School DID NOT prepare me or probably anyone else for their exams. Now I am going through more schooling. Which means more money out of my pocket. All so I can actually learn what they were too lazy to put in their low-quality and boring video lessons. Dont waste your money on these clowns, they do not care about our education.

This school is hands down amazing. Everything about it was easy, from getting enrolled, to learning how the site works, to doing each class. The live Q&A alone are worth it. The materials you read constantly go over previously taught points so everything stays fresh in your mind. John is super wonderful to listen to, the way he explains everything is perfect. I honestly didnt think I would learn as much as I did in the short time it took me to complete the course. I feel so comfortable going into the reality field after taking their courses.

I chose to do CRES over other options, mainly because it was a better economic value. However, I will say that I didnt feel like I sacrificed content for money.PROS:1. I passed both exams on my first attempt.2.The weekly webinar with Jon was very helpful.3. Every time I emailed the school, I got a response within a few minutes.4. The practice tests and insider guide was very helpful in my studying.CONS (Really only one):1. The majority of the videos are recorded by a gentleman that speaks very slow and repeats himself a lot. I found that speeding up the videos helped me keep my focus. You can also tell that these were recorded several years ago, as there will be another instructor that pops in from time to time with updates. I appreciate that they keep the information updated, however, however the newer instructors definitely are more engaging to listen to for hours on end.Overall, I would choose them again and recommend them to a friend.

I recently finished my education through Colorado Real Estate School online platform and found it to be very effective. It took me about 5 weeks to complete and I passed both the National and State portion of the test with 91% on my first try. I found the curriculum to be very relevant and the quizzes/tests, although challenging at times, were certainly all encompassing. I was very prepared on test day and highly recommend Colorado Real Estate School.

I am very pleased with the experience I had attending Colorado Real Estate School. The information was presented in an easy to consume manner, and having quizzes after every section with questions similar to those found on the licensing exam helped build my confidence. Any time I had a question I had an email response within a couple of hours, and the customer service was fantastic. I highly recommend attending this school for real estate licensing in Colorado.

Reviews are being kind to how boring and monotone the class portions are with this school. It becomes hard to take the classes because the presenter literally just reads a powerpoint, and he repeats every single bullet point twice. It is absolutely mind numbing and feels like a lot of filler. It also feels like he is winging it a lot. They seem to produce content for the sake of meeting the 168 hours needed in CO for real estate school vs. adding valuable new info to the student. Quizzes are unnecessarily long and repeat themselves often. It does not feel necessary that a 40 minute class require a 30 question quiz each time.

I was prepared to give CRES 4 stars, but part of the way through my final exam at the testing center I thought to myself, Wow, the course really prepared me well for this.I passed both portions of the final exam with flying colors. For transparencys sake, I did the online course in 5 weeks and took the final exam 2 days after finishing the course. So everything was very fresh in my head.I had a few mixed feelings about how some exams in the course coincided with the preceding material - I felt that certain questions were actually related to material FOLLOWING the exam, not preceding it. So there were some frustrating and/or puzzling moments. But in the end, the course did its job preparing me for the final. So thank you!!

I chose CRE School due to it being affordable and online. The material you need to know is all there. Although, it’s very outdated and lacks any visual appeal along with a very hard to listen to instructor for most of the course. I recommend using this to satisfy the state requirements for education and supplementing with several other study tools. Spelling errors and typos abound on the tests and lessons which made me feel like the school didn’t put in much effort. It is a good value for the price if you’re on a budget.*edited*I just wanted to add that I found the insiders guide to be highly valuable and easy to navigate. It’s exactly what I was looking for to study the night before the exam.

I just passed both tests the first time. I feel like the format was good. The speed adjustment on videos helped immensely for those who have a short attention spam. I kept them at 1.5 to 2 depending on content. This course wont spoon feed you. You have to do the work and do extra research when unsure about something. My only suggestion, which may not be possible: teach to be a competent realtor, not just pass the test. I guess it gives us a license to learn.

Its to the point. They dont try to make it complicated or overload you with books. The lessons and classes are easy to navigate.

These courses were designed and structured very well and helped me learn exactly what I needed to! I passed the test 27 days after I signed up for the course and felt very prepared. The course is well worth the money and the staff is very responsive should you need help.They focus on the math problems and have you practice them in every video. This is super helpful, as I had about 15 math questions between the two portions of the exam.I watched just about every video on 1.75 to 2x speed and that really cut down the time needed to complete the course. You can’t do that on all the videos, however. The 8 hour series of videos to review the Purchase and Sale Agreement were agonizing, but they will be a great resource as I start my career and need to fill out my first few contracts.If you’re looking for an inexpensive course to get started in real estate, then sign up with Colorado Real Estate School.

I started with another online school and switched to Colorado Real Estate School because I wanted the videos and more interactive format. There is a lot I like about CRES, but there are definitely things that need improvement.PROS: Very responsive to emails and questions, lots of additional support with webinars and the Exam Cram, lots of exam prep questions that really helped me be ready for my testCONS: The videos are very hard to get through as the speaker talks so slow and is not engaging at all. The info graphics remind me of what my teachers did in high school (and I was in high school nearly 20 years ago) so it feels very outdated and dry. I also got very frustrated that many of the question on an exam werent covered until the NEXT SECTION. So I would have to look a lot of things up online to complete the exams, and then the next video would cover the exact things I was looking up. So the flow isnt great. It would also be nice to have a percent complete thing to show how much you have left. The course outline and list of classes doesnt give you an idea of how far you have to go to complete the course. The other RE school I was doing before this one had a running percentage clock that made it so easy to know how much I had done and how much was left.Overall, CRES gets the job done and its a great economic value. But it needs a lot of work to be up to date and user friendly. If price is most important to you, this is the school for you.

Made the decision to get my license and Colorado Real Estate School allowed me to make that happen. The online classes worked out great and walk you through all the required elements with ease. You work at your own pace and can learn from your mistakes as you go. I know the training was successful since I was able to pass the national and state exam on my first time. I would also recommend their one day class once you finish all the online training. This one day allowed me to hear from other students and to discuss some of those challenging areas. Clearly their program works! My results prove it..

My experience with Colorado Real Estate School was great. I thought the classes were informative and well thought out. I felt very prepared for the test with all of the resources they provide. Just got my reimbursement check in the mail from passing the test. Would definitely recommend!

I am not completely finished with all of the courses yet, but I must weigh in on my experience up until now. The first class is conducted by this lively, happy, engaging female teacher who makes the topics rather interesting and intriguing. In my mind, I think this curriculum is great and I can definitely see myself enjoying this school. Then immediately after, all of the following courses are instructed by a completely boring, monotone, painfully bad male teacher. Required literature is rather dense. That is to be expected when learning a new field. What I dont understand is how the 1980s teal blue backgrounds, dated fonts, and clip art are supposed to be interactive or why they are still being used at all. The videos seem extremely obsolescent. It looks like Windows 95. Besides that, it is extremely boring to listen to this man talk. Almost puts me to sleep at times. After 2 courses, I was praying that they were taking turns and that some videos would be instructed by the other teacher again. Sadly, none have been thus far. I feel like this online school is in severe need of some visual and audible improvements if it is to stay relevant.**Update**I stuck with the course. Studied flash cards. Took all of the practice exams over and over. Obsessively almost. And I passed my exams today the first try. I will say, although the box that it’s wrapped up in is not the most attractive thing on the planet, the material is thorough and effective if you devote the time to it.

I passed my exam today and I just want to say you are in the BEST hands with Colorado Real Estate School. It is a fantastic online school. Please do me a favor and if you want to put less stress on yourself sign up for a 1 day cram session live classroom event! Also do everything they tell you in the Bonus Study materials including filling out all those contracts - in other words read the contracts. It absolutely works and you will pass your exam if you study and prepare - dont skip over anything - read all the material and Good Luck!! Great People, Great School and Great Training. I feel prepared and I am thrilled with this school.

Sept.-2019 Not Good. Much of the course material is dated and not accurate due to updates in the laws and from the Colorado Real Estate Commission. Some of the instructors commentary is not only out of date, but recommends unprofessional and ridiculous actions for Realtors to take to protect themselves and their clients best interest. Worst of all, the coursework does very little to prepare you for the exams. I dont know how all of these positive reviews can claim that they were perfectly prepared for the exam through this coursework. Very little of the coursework is relevant to the exam questions.

Took this school as a recomendation from a friend. It was the cheapest option and I decided to try it out. Well I studied hard, asked and answered my own questions. That combined with the schools in depth videos, I was able to pass the real estate exam, both state and national, 1st try. This class has everything you need to succeed.

Great test scores on my state and national exams! Pamela and Jon were more than accommodating extremely helpful and responsive when I had a question or needed further clarification. Each class has multiple narrated slides, some are interactive classes and many redundant exams which are the crux of the course and passing the State/National exam.I originally started with a less expensive course through another RE School and it was all powerpoint slides that one had to read everything to get anything. Legal ease and concepts are not the easiest to comprehend and need narration and a teaching technique that holds your attention and clarifies through examples and experience. This course did just that for me!

Colorado Real Estate School has an exceptional online learning program. It took me around a month to finish the wealth of material; the structure of the course really makes the content stick. After reading, watching an instructor led video, then taking an exam, you should have a great understanding of the topic. Great online program. I passed the the exam easily. The student support is great as well. Some of the videos are outdated and in a few of the videos the sound was messed up (could have been my computer). If you follow the program and do everything they say, you will pass no problem. Warning there is no way around the fact that the material is very very dry. They do a good job of trying to make it interesting and making the important info stick. But push through dryness and it is worth it. I thought this program was worth it and will recommend it.

Ok so 5 weeks ago I started school here. Yesterday I passed with 85% on both national and state on my first try. Their teaching method dose work!My only complaint is that I paid the superior package just so I could have the hard Copy book to study and read from.But 75% off the reading material was from a different manual so I had to read off my laptop anyway.Overall I would recommend this place if you are doing online school!

Passed the national and state exam today on first try. I found the state exam to be much more difficult than the national.Colorado Real Estate School was the cheapest and best DIY method I could find and I do recommend. I didnt watch all of the videos through; instead I just focused on a little reading and then re-studying all of my online exams and looked for more info when I didnt understand something. This helped me the most in order to succeed.Also, I recommend getting your fingerprints done at least one month before you plan on taking the exam as that process is slow and can hold things up when you finish everything else.

I took this course all online and then took the Cram session at the end. It was very thorough and truly helped make the difference in the material really making sense. Colorado Real Estate Schools detailed curriculum and ongoing testing really forced me to apply the learning right away. The ability to review tests right away and have a record of them to go back and review was of high value. I have no problem recommending CRES as I was able to pass the State and National tests the first time. I was anticipating I could find and getaway with shortcuts along the way to save time. There are no shortcuts but if you put in the effort it will pay off.

The classes have been great, although my courses state “access expired” I spoke with a woman who was quite rude in explaining that in order to finish my 2nd portion of the class I would have to purchase the 3rd portion. I am still unable to continue my work with the 2nd portion. When I bought the enhanced package it stated I would have 8 months to complete the course, I have barely been enrolled in the class for 5 months and I cannot access my classes anymore.

I had a great experience with CRES. Being able to go through the material at my own pace and whenever I had the time was great (for me, it took 4 months to get through the material). The online exams help to know your weak areas, so you can review as necessary. Taking the cram course was a great decision. Im positive that this helped me passed the exam (on the first try, with an over 80% score in each section). I would highly suggest the cram course to anyone who is serious about passing the exam...they provide great tips that will keep you from panicking halfway through the test, and much of the material covered WAS on the test. Plus, customer service with this school has always been great. They have always answered my questions (even stupid ones!) in a friendly and timely manner. Highly recommend!

Colorado Real Estate School was the perfect choice for me to study the material at my leisure. At the end of the course, practice Colorado/National tests were available that I could take as often as I liked. Colorado Real Estate School has been amazing! I was able to do all the training online with my computer at home. The training is very thorough and easy to understand. Im now coming back to them for all my my CE requirements!

This school worked extremely well for me for passing the tests -- I got through the first time on both parts with scores in the 90th percentile. Also, there are practical sessions at the end of the course that have been very helpful to me as I start my practice as a real estate broker. The online format worked especially well for me because it allowed me to complete the course and pass the test in less than three months. And, as Jon promised during one of the lessons, I have kept my course materials close by and referred to them more than once out here in the real real estate world. Also, Pam is awesome about getting right back to you if you email a question. Heres a tip: when you first start taking the exams at the end of each class, you may feel confused because the questions dont always seem to cover the material you just studied. What youre doing, though -- from the very first class session exam -- is getting ready to take the state exams -- which is the whole point of taking the course. So just go with it and have faith. And, finally, I read a really good piece of advice from another CRESchool student: when youre ready to do your final preparation for the exam, go back through and retake all the exams for all of the sessions. And -- wow! -- is it fun to be a real estate broker. I think its the best job Ive ever had!!!

Just wanted to say how much I enjoyed your course, and how thorough all the videos and materials were in helping me to pass the exams! Also, the one day workshop was well worth taking to prepare for both sides of the exams. I definitely made the best choice in selecting Colorado Real Estate School! You guys rock!!!

I am extremely happy with the services I received with my subscription to CRE! I took advantage of all of the classes and practice tests and was promised that I would receive reimbursement for the fee of the State/National test if I passed the first time. I did pass and received the reimbursement quickly and with no hassle. I used the phone support at times and Facebook. This is a great value and wonderful program.

After much research and speaking to experienced real estate brokers, I chose Colorado Real Estate School based on the reviews and recommendations I received. This online program was easy to navigate and I completed all of my credits in 3 months, while working a full-time job. CRES gave me the tools and foundation to pass the exam on the first attempt!

CRES was very thorough, comprehensive, easy to learn at your own pace, and completely prepared me for the exam. I passed the first time. They were also very responsive when contacted. I would highly recommend this school. Well worth the money.

This is an awesome school, I highly recommend their online classes. I passed the exam the first time I took it, and the exam questions were very similar to the material presented in the online classes. The videos are super easy to listen to, and the material is very clearly explained. The test reviews were so helpful, thanks so much, CRES!!! :)

I am so glad that I choose this school when I made the decision to get my license. The training system is designed perfectly for every type of learner and the ability to self pace was perfect for me. I was prepared to pass both test first try and received my refund within the week. I could not have been more impressed!

I will give them credit for putting out a lot of information, but the problem is that its so much information that it is very overwhelming. I am going through a divorce and couldnt afford the premium package. With that being said, I dont have access to asking the school questions. there is no search key engine on their website. This would be extremely helpful when you are trying to look up a topic to learn more about it. A prime example is the keywords section. I dont recall several of the words in the videos, or in the reading section, so I dont know where to find them. An example of this is under the key words for the Appropriate rights. While it does talk about the Doctrine of Prior Appropriation, I cant find anything that explains if there is more Appropriative rights, or if that is it. Very frustrating. I am also aware that there is a Principles of Real Estate Practice manual, but there are over 400 pages and it makes it very difficult to use when you study from your phone, which is my case, as I also have a full time job.

I like the online classes. I liked also the teachers they were every knowledgeable and explained things well. I didnt like some small things but it was very affordable compared to other real estate schools.

I was able to complete my education quickly because of the 24/7 streaming of the classes. I passed the test on the first try and really appreciate the help and guidance of the instructors! The classes were easy to follow and whenever I had questions they were quickly answered. I am so glad I chose CRE School!

I passed the state exam using this program which is the ultimate goal. Easy to follow. Mac friendly. The one time I needed to call they were extremely helpful.

I was enrolled in Real Estate Express and it was a nightmare!!! When I switched over to Colorado Real Estate School it was such a relief. The materials are straightforward and the test were reflective of the online reading and videos. So glad I was able to get out of the other course! There is no way it was preparing students for the national and state test.

**Updated**This course is pretty terrible! The instructors are friendly for the most part and will help you out where they can, sometimes they are too helpful and quite wordy. If you have a good understanding of real estate already this course will work for you. If you are new to real estate, or from a country where things are streamlined and a lot simpler, this is not the course for you!The free lesson on their webpage is absolutely NOTHING like the lessons in the course, so much so that it could constitute fraud (my background is in law)The biggest problem with this course is its delivery. It-is-SHOCKING! It may have the correct content but if the delivery is poor it means nothing. If youre familiar with the earliest versions of powerpoint, wordart and windows 95 then youll be familiar with how unappealing the visual is going to be.The narrator has poor grammar and is not concise, repeats a lot of things, no infliction in his voice to keep you interested, goes of on tangents about irrelevant things, contradicts himself, introduces new material in a summary, eats his food whilst talking, crack open cans of soda, sometimes sounds like hes eating the microphone and the next minute sounds like hes standing across the room from the microphone. This narrator will frustrate you for 90% of the course making it impossible to learn, the other 10% is narrated much better. Updates to the course are simply someone pausing the powerpoint then talking for a bit. I understand theyre rolling out a new course but how does that help those that dont have access to it?This course is the cheapest for a reasonIve been in a bit of a sour email exchange with Jesse as I wanted a refund but because I had the certificate they point blank refused. She continues to ignore to very important questions.Do you think it’s ethical to advertise with the updated lesson yet Nothing about the course content is updated? & Do you think it’s acceptable to promise a student extra reading material and then not deliver for a month?I know these guys will offer you all the assistance in the world but given how frustrating, annoying and unprofessional the course is Id much rather go and start again with a company that actually gives a damn and doesnt just want your money.

I looked at a few other places before I chose Colorado Real Estate Schoo to help me with the 168hrs pre-licensing course. I like how detailed and clear from the course lectures and the questions after each lesson help with memorizing information. There are a LOT of information to learn about being a realtor and the School definitely helps! It took me a while to finish all the course because all the family reasons and the School is always on as long as I logged into my account! If I have any questions, I could always emailed the instructors and will get an answer just like that. The exam workshop is a must for those of you really want to pass the exam on the first try. It’s a long day but Jon (I finally met him in person) was patient, kind, generous with all his experience and knowledge to guide the workshop. I passed the Broker exam on my very first try. So give this school a try if you are thinking real estate career in CO!

I passed the state and national exam on the first try with above average scores, largely in part to their curriculum and instructors.If you are technologically inclined and enjoy learning at your own pace online, CRES will serve you well. CRES is also at a lower price point than competitors, but has higher passing rates according to Colorado.Gov. If you are on the fence about where to do your real estate education, choose CRES.

According to previous bad review and in defense of male instructors, I would like to say that I love instructor Jon! He is so funny and his lessons had never made me sleepy! Every time when he was saying: Yada yada yada - always made me laugh:)

The online format was extremely convenient and I was able to complete the classes in less than 3 months and passed my real estate exam on the first try. I felt well prepared for the test and would highly recommend CRE school to anyone looking to get their real estate license!

I have nothing but praise for Colorado Real Estate School. Working full time and taking the classes when I had time available was the way to go for me. I went rather slowly through the course, taking breaks when life was too busy. I stuck with it though. I made sure to take the exam cram workshop which helped prepare me for the test. I passed the test the first time and I know I couldnt have done it without the great class material and instructors. Thank you!

I was very impressed with CRES program. The training was intense but very effective, emailed questions were always answered quickly and with detailed explanations. Passed the test on the first try.

I Passed the National and State Broker exam on the first try, no doubt a direct result of the Colorado Real Estate School online course. The online course covered everything I needed to know to pass. The instructors explained things so that it was easy to understand. I work full time and have a family, the ability to go online and take the courses anytime of the day was huge for me. A couple of weeks ago I attended the cram session that is offered. Those attending had many questions for the instructor, and the session was very informative. Most importantly for me I received invaluable test taking techniques. I have to admit I started to worry when I first started taking the test, but I remembered what was said at the cram session and applied those techniques. The online tests they offer also prepared me for the exam, especially since I could retake the tests anytime and the questions for the most part were different every time I retested. I gave CRE 5 stars, they gave me the right information and I made the effort to learn it. I also loved the fact that they have an office here in Colorado and I stopped in before I chose CRE.

Study the prep state exam... it will be your best friend. Also, make sure you print off the guidelines from the PSI and really get farmiliar with those topics on the national side. This is a great school. They are always willing to help. If youre hesitant because the price is a little lower than the bigger schools, then feel free to waste your money. This school knows that they dont need to charge you $1500 for you to get the education you need for your license. They are very responsive on phone and Facebook, I got answers within 15 minutes. Also, Invest in paying extra for the books too. Its worth it. Id give this 6 stars if I could. I didnt do the cram course because I didnt have time, it took 4 weeks to get through the course and I passed on the first try.
