My two children have been attending this Taekwondo Academy for three years now. Both my son and my daughter have been taught not only the benefits of the practice of Taekwondo but how show to respect to others and for themselves. They also attend the summer camp and love the fun and educational atmosphere that Master Jeong provides. We are proud to belong to this Taekwondo Academy.

Master Jeong is fantastic with the kids. They are super discipline and she keeps them very active. My kids have been there for almost 10 years and when the COVID happen and they couldnt go there for a while was heartbreaking for them and they were lazy being at home so much. But they recently went back to IKIK a few months ago and couldnt wait to leave the house. Ms. Sangmi helps the kids with their school work, homework and have all the kids reading. Plus Master Jeong and Ms. Sangmi constantly keep the academy clean and sanitize and practice COVID restrictions, so the kids do not get sick while they are there. I love bringing my kids to this academy. The best place for your child to learn, do homework/assignments, learn great discipline, learn martial arts, and most importantly stay active.

Master Jeong at I-kik is best of the best. Wether youre a kid or adult, the classes are fun and informative with a great balance, of respect and discipline in each and every class.

Master Jeong has endless energy and patience for teaching, and her investment in improving the kids not just in martial arts but in life skills is always evident. If she ever has a bad day, no one can tell. She is always encouraging and focused. Respect and discipline are central, but the kids have fun too. Sometimes the classes are too full and individual attention sometimes lacking as a result, but that would be my only criticism, and it is understandable. My son has been attending for almost 3 years and has improved in discipline, self-confidence, and physical coordination.

Master Jeong is fantastic! She truly cares for all her students and motivates them to do their best. She has the ability to recognize everyone’s abilities and customizes her training to fit their ability. She makes class fun and exciting for all age groups. I have been her student for over 10 years and always look forward to attending class.

Master Jeong is a really great master that teaches taekwondo well

Master Jeong is really good with the kids, as well as adults. I really like the environment that the master creates for the people enrolled here at I-KIK.

Our whole family has been in martial arts for 20+ years. Having reached a 3rd degree black belt myself and been A student at 8+ schools, I can say without a doubt you won’t find a better instructor/owner than Master Jeong at Ikik. My children began TKD with her when they were 4 and 5 years old and both reached their black belts. She worked them hard and they didn’t take their progression to black belt for granted, but at the same time made sure they had fun. As a result, they both chose to continue TKD when we were transferred out of the area. My 5 years as Master Jeong’s student was the best martial arts experience of my life. She really has a gift of teaching; she understands your own unique abilities (and limitations!) and works hard with each individual student to help everyone progress with their unique abilities. If you’re an adult considering joining one of her classes and you’re intimidated by the age of the rest of the students, get over it! I was in my mid 40s practicing with 15-20 year olds and felt perfectly comfortable. She has an amazing ability to recognize and address the needs of EVERYONE in the class. Being an older student, I had several injuries I had to work around. She completely tailored my participation so that I could join classes and keep moving forward. If I was still in the area you’d see me at Ikik in her class EVERY SINGLE DAY.

My daughter began Tae Kwon Do as a Tiny Tiger at the age of 3. She was very intimidated and unsure of herself when we arrived for her first class. Master Jeong took time to get to know her and her personality and by the end of her first class, my daughter could not wait until her next session. She is now 5 and continues to look forward to Tae Kwon Do. Master Jeong is a fantastic instructor who elicits strong sense of self, development of character, and respect for self and others in a manner that is upbeat and fun. Every child in the I-Kik School has a great rapport with Master Jeong as well as the other staff members. Aside from traditional classes, Master Jeong offers summer camps, after school programs, Birthday parties and parents nights out which are all in line with the mission of the I-Kik program. My husband and I have the utmost respect for Master Jeong and all she has accomplished. We cannot speak highly enough of her and her staff and we would recommend all the programs she offers. I was so impressed that I have recently been enrolled as an I-Kik student myself.

Excellent instruction and genuinely caring Master and staff. Masters Jeongs expertise and patience with my kids inspired me to take lessons with the kids and Im healthier and stronger than ever. She even customized my training to work with a knee injury and strengthen my legs faster and better than any prior physical therapy. My kids are self-confident, disciplined, and motivated in all things they do thanks to her training.
