Our son has been at the studio for about 6 months now and he is loving it. As a parent of a very active boy we had a hard time figuring out what activities would be most beneficial for him. He has learned so much in the past months and we looked forward to his continued growth. The staff is very involved and completely interested in the growth of their students. We look forward to a future with Starworld and the amazing things they are doing with our youth.

We love being apart of the Starworld Martial Arts Family. It truly is a family atmosphere here. We love that it isnt all about fighting. The focus here is confidence, focus, self-control, and discipline. The Buddy Program is great for kids to learn how to overcome bullying in schools. Senior Master Williamson and the other Masters and black belts provide top notch martial arts training. This place has blown away ALL of my expectations. It’s very rare to find a staff so compassionate, patient, and knowledgeable in their craft. Absolutely fantastic and worth every single penny. My son has been going to Starworld since May and he loves it and can’t wait to keep progressing. Master Williamson and his staff of highly skilled instructors are wonderful! My 5 year old has been going for almost a year now and Ive been very impressed with their teaching skills. Not only do they teach defense but Ive seen a great difference in self-discipline and his ability to follow instructions very well. He enjoys learning about their monthly themes (courage, leadership, loyalty, etc) and finds ways to apply it at home. He loves working on his weekly good job sheets (he gets upset when I forget to bring them into class because he is so proud of the good work hes done at home. lol). My son has always been a good kid but with the martial arts learning techniques he has over exceeded my expectations and is becoming a good example for his two little siblings. We are very happy with Starworld Martial Arts Academy. I cant wait to include my two younger ones when they are old enough to join too.

Starworld is a great martial arts studio. Their instructors are very friendly, respectful, and get along very well with the kids. Not only are they learning martial arts, but learning great moral values and respectfulness. They learn about how to deal with bullying as well. My 5 year old enjoyed a week of karate summer class at a local college so we investigated karate schools in the area. Starworld in Goodyear, Az is more than just karate. The school is very student-orientated and the teachers seem to really enjoy teaching the little ones. I also like the core principles the student learn in addition to karate. Its a comprehensive program. My son has become more out-going and he enjoys his karate lessons.

Our 4 year old Daughter Brooke LOVES Starworld. The instructors all are awesome with the small kids in the Tiny Tigers (Ages 4-5), and one of the things that’s really cool is how they have older students come in to help out with the younger children. My daughter thinks they are so cool and likes to train with them. When you are there you can tell everyone involved ENJOYS the work they are doing and want these kids to succeed. We had started out Brooke on 1 class a week and after a short time moved her to 2 times a week. We are now contemplating putting her into the leadership program because she loves it so much. We hope to be associated with this school for a long time.Update: Brooke is now 6 and a member of the Little Dragons and in the leadership program attending classes 3 times a week. We are extremely happy with Starworld!

Seriously the best thing you can do for your child. Staff is amazing. Very focused on each childs development, self esteem, and progress. Establishment is clean and spotless. Tons of classes available for all age groups and needs.

We checked out Starworld Martial Arts for our 4-year-old son initially to have some fun learning karate. What we didnt realize is that the program is so comprehensive in terms of physical & mental training that he would benefit on a daily basis from what he learns in class. We (his parents), his teachers, & other family and friends have seen a positive shift in his behavior as he learns and grows! We love Starworld & the instructors, they are absolutely wonderful. My Grandson was recently moved to the leadership program at only 5 years old and he has improved his focus and confidence tremendously. He has been in the program for just over a year and his progress from where he started is amazing. The instructors from the head master on down have been instrumental, patient and caring in helping him get to the level he is at. He really enjoys being a leader and seeing what it takes to be successful. The program has helped his confidence and self discipline at home and school also, which he had been struggling with. I highly recommend Starworld to everyone.

My children started here at the end of May and have done nothing but impress me with their improvement. This program has helped my children learn more than just martial arts techniques. This program has taught them to respect others and themselves, show self-control, demonstrate patience, and taught them to never give up, even when the task seems hard. My boys attend several days a week. It has been 2 years since we joined, and the boys and I still love it, which says a lot for the school and its instructors. My daughter is now working on year 4 of this program and we continue to be impressed. The academy has grown so much compared to when she first began. She is nothing like the 5 year old she was when she began who had a hard time focusing (as kindergarteners do). I love how in addition to learning tang soo do, each month there is a new word related to character education that they also focus on. This made a huge difference in my daughters focus and listening. The academy also offers fitness classes, camps when school isnt in session, and parents night outs. Starworld is the place to be!

Very impressed with the level of structure they instill in the children. Absolutely love the approach with praise/correction especially with a child that struggles with listening. We had toured and tried out a couple different facilities but because of the structure, teamwork and encouragement, Starworld was our top choice! Starworld was my childs first organized activity. With him being extremely active, this has proved to be such a great fit. This is the place to go. If your looking to get your child involved that is an investment I would say this is the place. This is more then a service it is a family dynamic that goes above and beyond to incorporate the fundamentals of martial arts but also life skills. Each month there is a motivational word that is important in life ex. (dependable). Each class there is a mini discussion age appropriate to discuss the reasons why it is important to be dependable in life and to those you care about. We attended a free session and our children really enjoyed themselves. The atmosphere was very welcoming and friendly from the moment we walked into the facility. Everyone was smiling and happy and they were willing to lend a hand or answer any questions we asked. Although they are still new students we have noticed that they are conducting positive behavior at school and at home. We are excited to see a greater transformation in regards to obedience and self control and self confidence as they continue to be positively teached each week.

I was looking for a traditional school in the West Valley for two of my boys (10 and 14). I wanted a place where they can learn discipline and honor: carried into their lives outside of the school. Starworld is a welcoming community, not just a martial arts school. There is a lot of individualized instruction even in the larger classes as there are many Black Belt leaders, and they are all amazing (and kind) people in their own right. I couldnt be more happy with my choice to bring my children to Starworld. I have seen significant improvement in their attitudes, respect, drive and determination. I dont ask them to get ready for class. I dont ask them to practice. They are ALL in... they love going... and that really is a great feeling for me.
