Why does there have to be barbed wire fences

Kids fear for there safety sometimes while there at school. The education could be better IF they keep the same teachers. But the theater program is great and my daughter loves it.

WARNING: IF YOU GO TO THE SCHOOL YOU WILL EXPERIENCE ANXIETY, the school is good, but the VS program will be dead soon so...........Anyways, the teachers are okay but they keep on taking good teachers away. The bathrooms are trash and they separate the VS and non-VS a LOOOOOT!!! Elementary is okay but the best teachers are leaving so yeah........Good Luck if you go here!!!!!!!

I went here for all 5 grades and it was the best middle school ever. So much love to all the teachers and my classmates. People will always find something to hate but I had some great times here and it made me into the person I am today, taught me a lot about being successful and learning, and also introduced me to some of the best people I my life. I love Lincoln, always will.

This schools good because of the good teachers. The teachers are not boring to the point that you dont want to engage in the lesson but at the same time not to nice/flexible to the point that your not going to pay attention to the lesson

My daughter enjoys the diversity. It has really brought herself out in a positive way. The teachers are tough, but keep you informed.

Good school but the teachers are extra. Some are kinda biased and rude. Others are extremely nice but have annoying students....even though you cant change anything about that. Elementary program is better than the Middle School itself.

I mean its not a great school and it has bad aspects and somethings are just truly wrong but generally its not the worst school possible and I did get to meet amazing people so...yeah

I have gone here for two years now, and Ive learned that almost everything is dirty, we have no free time, (most) teachers have no respect for students, wayyyyy to many projects, and the fences bordering the school are nicely decorated with barbed wire. The education is pretty good, although sometimes tests are thrown at us after the teacher taught us almost nothing of the subject except a few useless activities.

Bad food. Bad bathrooms. They keep replacing teachers way too much. They keep TAKING AWAY SOME OF OUR GOOD TEACHERS (cough cough). The teachers are ok, but sometimes they are a little reee with yelling and silent lunch and they hate students more then others and sometimes they really like the smart students (NOT TRYING TO BE MEAN). The encores are good. THEY REALLY NEED TO FIX THE LOCKER ROOMS.I just know this stuff.

Ok, so some of the teachers are good, which is the only reason why I didnt rate it a one. Some teachers are biased, and the whole school is either moldy, dusty, or generally disgusting. The bathrooms are terrible, and smell really bad. Some of the people are ok, but a lot cuss WAY TOO MUCH.so yeah.

Very bad service. the bathrooms are disgusting. There is discrimination. There is a lot of drama. No recess, Not much free time. No the the best. Not good customer service. Some staff have problems. If you plan on enrolling....... good luck ....your going to need it. But some of the teachers are REALLY cool! and if you have the right connections then youre going to have a lot of fun. With fun or with out YOu are going to make A LOT of memories. Disclaimer i am not saying that all your memories are going to be good ones.

Did i hate my experience? no. did i enjoy my experience? no. hotel? trivagobut seriously, my experience wasn’t all that bad. this school just needs to work on certain things

Ive been here for 3 years. 6th grade was okay but in 7th grade the teachers always compared the advanced students to the vs. 8th grade was really just a mess. they moved vs into another building because the parents wanted them away from the advanced and the away from the regular kids. the principal caters to the vs kid and ignores the rest. there is a bullying problem at this school as well but the only thing they do is send the bully out for a couple of days. it seems like they care about dress code more than bullying ( mind you only 2-3 kids get dress coded per quarter if that much)

Very bad bathrooms, bad room service, and no free time and recess and only 40 minutes of PE EVERY OTHER DAY. Lunches are bad. Disrespectful teachers. Systems are rigged. To many things are blocked. Not enough free time. Encores are boring. Confusing. Also bad customer service. Dirty. The teachers discriminate against me for being ginger. Little do the fools know I can summon Satan. Otherwise, dont go here unless you like to get your hands very dirty. Also the majority of the environment is toxic, and you get plenty of Nam flashbacks if you go here. Oh the humanity.

It is okay but they need to clean up and the teachers need to start having more respect for students other then that it is a okay school.

Lincoln is not a perfect school. Ive been here since 4th grade and Im in the VS program. There are occasionally great teachers, though there is constant reshuffling and moving of teachers, meaning that we lose good teachers and are stuck with awful ones for the rest of the year. For example, in 5th grade we had FOUR SCIENCE TEACHERS. One left in the first 2 weeks, the second in February, the third 2 weeks after the second one left, and the fourth stayed for the rest of the year.Now, in 6th grade, a new system had been implicated where we had 2 teachers teaching 2 subjects each, but recently one of the two left and we switched back to the old 4 teacher system and are in the process of getting 3 new teachers.The environment at Lincoln is toxic. The 5 programs are extremely separated and constantly tease each other. Theyre the PA, Global Studies, AG, and District kids, and were the VS kids. In the VS program, and I cant speak for the rest of the program, were all extremely cynical and pretty mean to each other, probably because we had two instances of the shock of reality (start of 4th and 6th grade) and were forced to grow up quickly. Of course, this made a lot of people very immature. Theres just a very pervasively negative atmosphere.The buildings are terrible, and theres multiple abandoned rooms, one of which that has a giant hole in the floor and rats (maybe asbestos, too). The bathrooms are absolutely terrible, and no efforts are made to fix them. When talking to a vice principal, he flat out said that the bathrooms were clean and said that he didnt need to take any action. The administration is incompetent and probably dont care.The only thing saving my rating is the teachers, who are amazing and knowledgeable. When the good ones are just allowed to do their thing, its great and you honestly forget about the problems.

THIS SCHOOL IS GOOD WHEN YOUR WITH YOUR FRIENDS BUT TEACHERS HERE DONT KNOW HOW TO CALLM DOWN LIKE DANG AND BE THROWING SHADR AT STUDENTS AND DIRESPECTFUL TO THEM BUT THE STUDENTS GET IN TROUBLE I MOSTLLYYYY HATE THE FACT THAT THE VS AND THENON-VS ARE SEPERATED AND WE CAN BARELY DO THING WITH THEM BECAUSE MOST OF OUR FRIENDS BE ON NON-VS AND THE FACT THAT WERE SEPERATED IS CRAZY THE FOOD HERE MAKES YOU BLEHH UHHH BUT THE SNACKS THEY GOT ARE OVERALL GOOD YOULL HAVE GOOD TIMES AND BAD TIMES HERE BUT YOU DO YOU

I miss it honestly but im in high school now i went there 6th grade i loved the people and the security staff was very understanding and nice i liked the officer that was there your kids are in good hands there i mean its probably changed now and my fav teacher ms.blake or ms.depolt probably arent there i hoped they fixed the bathroom with the big window honestly i hopped they also got some proper gym equipment but yeah five stars anyday

Graduated this school in 2015 and over all the school is good but some of the teachers are not the type of teachers fit for educating us. Bathrooms are also filthy.

I was a student at Lincoln and i can honestly say that this is a good school on the academic level, 10 being the best it is a 9 thats what the rating on school websites say but it can also be somewhat bad

I honestly would give half a star because the classes arent engaging,their is a bunch of racisim between non-vs and vs, the only classes worth going to are electives. You have to be with your homeroom class for the whole day the only exceptions are encoure times,and we have semester instead of a day b day like a normal school. The bathrooms are gross,and the only people worth praising are the janitors,lunchstaff,and the encoure teachers.

This place sucks, not just because its school, but because everyone here is just depressed and everyone is ugly too except for me because ya know im pretty but bathrooms are really dirty, and 6th grade bathrooms are as small as a closet. soap is like just food coloring and water, and we also dont have hot water. horrible! This school is bad. some people are cool. only 1 or 2 people per GRADE get dress coded, although people could be wearing things similar, or even worse. they need to fix the dress code. girls can hardly buy shorts that wont look hideous on them, and putting a dress code on things like the 4-inch rule (which makes sense until you get dress coded for shorts that go down to your knees) just make people think of wearing these things as bad, which places more insecurities and destroys self confidence. of course, people could just buy those ugly bermuda shorts that they wore when they were 5, and looked like dora, but this school also struggles with many bullying problems. i get that the principal/vice principals probably get bullying complaints on the daily, but pulling them out of a class for a day wont change anything. it seems as though the dress code is more of a priority than bullying issues, which is unreasonable. also, non-vs and vs children should be more exposed to each other. some bullies start bullying because they think people try to be superior because of their education, which is, again, another struggle with causing insecurities. this school also has terrible smells and is very dirty. many improvements needed. it wouldnt let me post with 0 stars, but i wouldve. dont go here. the only good thing is SOME students, and the things being taught. 75% of the teachers are terrible, though, making it impossible for things that should be easily understood IMPOSSIBLE to understand. another source of bullying. also, its not fair that a student cant take certain encores because children are being prioritized, and even if the children are not the reason why others cant take the class, there should still be clubs or others ways for everyone to be involved. also, school productions are pretty good, and most encore teachers are nice. the employees who deserve the most respect (as a whole) are the encore teachers, janitors, and cafeteria ladies/gentlemen, who tend to get the least respect. stay away, this school is a mess.also, these crazy teachers seem to like us at times, but THEY DO NOT UNDERSTAND THAT WE ARE KIDS. YOU PEOPLE NEED TO LEARN THAT EVEN IF WE ARE ADVANCED OR VSN OR STUFF LIKE THAT, WE ARE STILL KIDS! i know you want to push us to be our best, but having to stay up until 4 am every night trying to finish homework isnt setting us up for success! i think teachers dont realize how much they are putting on us. some teachers are young, so may have just got out of college, so they need to start separating the idea of how they were being taught from how we should be. other teachers used to be high school, or even college TEACHERS. they think they were good teachers then, so they teach similarly... we dont need that! we are regular kids, and although a lot of us will put in the work to get good grades, that amount of work shouldnt involve staying up past 4 am every night, and the teachers need to realize that even if we are getting decent grades, that doesnt mean theres no struggle.

Terrible customer service. Every time I go to speak to someone about my person I get disrespected and mistreated.Today I called to speak to a teacher and immediately got an attitude from her for no reason. Not only that but my person got physically assaulted at this school and all the administration did was remove the student from the class for three days when they shared more than one class together.The people here dont care about your needs or the future of the student. They are only there for a paycheck.

Bad school .some teachers are rude ...its a shame . The students are very rude and ghetto. And the advanced kids are very rude . But the class rooms , bathrooms, halls are very dirty and dusty. they have janitors but they wont clean them . Bathrooms are dirty like they havent cleaned allyear . They sweep the classrooms once every 2 weeks. And in halls they probably dont clean it all. 😣😣 just one more year to go(plz come fast)😣😣
