My son attended MSH for 4 years starting age 2 till Kindergarten. We were truly fortunate and blessed to have MSH in our life. MSH played a important and positive role in our son’s life. We are very thankful to all the teachers for the care, love, and patient that they gave to our son.It was so nice of them to open the school for in-person learning during the most difficult times in 2020-2021. While most of the kids outside were on distance learning, we were very very fortunate to have in-person school for our son. It was very important for our son to continue the social interactions. Thank you MSH for all your hard work and efforts during the covid year. My son was really blessed to have a sense of normal life during covid.MSH has a nice friendly environment. We formed a great friendship with other parents who support each other with playdates, extra circular activities etc.We really appreciate moral guidance and positive influence by MSH. MSH  will always be in our hearts for all the years to come.  Your love, care, and moral support were truly amazing. We will cherries friendship that we build with other parents for years to come.

This school shaped 2 amazing kids that will grow up to be motivated, helpful, and respectful adults. The teaching goes far beyond academics and nurtures the inner growing child. I wish they had a middle school and high school!

We have been sending our child here since she was 22 months and the only reason I choose this school beside Montessori education was the loving, dedicated staff that we could trust and rely leaving my child with. They are like family and my kid pretty much grew with her another family here. Definitely recommend.

I am extremely grateful and thankful to the wonderful teachers here! My son graduated from MSH two years ago and now my daughter goes here. I couldn’t be more happier about the education and the care they have received being at this school. These curriculum is well rounded and provides a foundation for them to excel in the future.

This was one of the best experiences for both of my both - Ms. Shabana is THE BEST and my boys are now 7 and 9 and still talk about how she was their “favorite teacher ever.” It’s hard when they are little to leave them with other people but I always had such confidence in their supervision. You can’t go wrong with MSH, what they taught my two boys has translated for years in their perspective and focus.”

I just did a show at this school and was thrilled with how the teacher in the classroom was interacting with the kids. She was wonderful, funny, interesting and even did a magic trick before I started my show. As a former teacher, its terrific to see such a gem in the classroom. I also thought the director was terrific and engaging as well. Great school, for sure.

We had a wonderful experience at this school. Both of my children went to MSH from 2 years of age till 5. They learned so many valuable skills and they always felt safe. I especially loved the diversity of the students and felt that it prepared them for elementary school.

We switched our daughter to MSH at 15 months and could not be happier. She loves running into school every day and waves bye and tells us to leave. At her previous daycare she did not want to be left. There is a warm and loving environment provided by the teachers. At the end of the day she wants to keep playing instead of coming home.

Weve had a great experience with MSH, but most importantly our eldest absolutely LOVES going to this school. Our daughter has been attending MSH for almost 2 years now, and we will be sending our son as well next semester. The leaps and bounds in development weve seen in her are in no small part due to her attending MSH. Not only does she learn about many topics, shes learned life skills that will serve her throughout her adult life as well, particularly since its these skills that become the basis for even further progress. Our greatest joy is witnessing how our daughter sees school as fun, much unlike us at her age. If you like to develop curiosity and independence in your children, Id highly recommend MSH (or the Montessori method writ large). Its definitely a challenge raising children that have a strong sense of independence, considering the big paradigm shift from having grown in the public school systems, but we believe its worth the effort. The staff is well experienced, knowledgable, and invested in each students well-being. We receive constant feedback on our childs progress and any concerns are brought up immediately. Our only complaints are not due to the schools performance, rules, or regulations, but more due to the legal and regulatory responsibilities to which the school must adhere (i.e., laws are written for the lowest common denominator, so we dont live in a common-sense world anymore). For example, children are not allowed to bring hot foods for lunch, which is something wed like for our children to experience just as we did growing up (like playing outside all day or walking to school alone), but that is uncommon nowadays. While small, these sort of things align well with the Montessori method but are difficult to include in curriculums (or are perceived as downright neglectful), so we must forgo them.Disclaimer: While MSH encourages parents to review the services they receive, no compensation is offered or made in kind. This review is based on my own criterion and experience.

My daughter attended MSH for 2 years and the experience for both student and parents was incredible. Ms. Shabana is the director and not only can she manage the kiddos she knows how to manage the parents too!Admittedly I was THAT mom that called and emailed and stopped by unannounced all the time. The school, its teachers, and Ms Shabana run a tight ship - firm but fair and they love kids - it shows! My daughter is now in 2nd grade and she still talks about her time at MSH. It truly felt like family. Your child will not be excluded - everyone plays, works, and argues together. It’s a great enviro for the kids to figure out how to socialize and play which is truly the most important job for preschoolers. I’m so glad my daughter walked away with so many wonderful and nurturing memories. And if you’re wondering about the curriculum - my daughter was more than prepared for kindergarten. The Montessori method is proven. Ms. Shabana had her reading by age 4. Currently as a 2nd grader she is reading at a 3rd grade level.Lastly - yes, MSH tuition is pricey. I dare say all good preschools are. But it was worth every penny.

What a wonderful place for young minds to grow. I have been very lucky to have both my children be part of this great institute. Their experience at The Montessori School of Herndon was positive and progressive. Even today as they are attending highschool and middle school they are applying the skills that they learned at this school. Thank You So Much MSH Faculty and Staff...

We are so fortunate to have our kids at MSH! We love the Montessori approach to learning - our toddlers have learned so much through songs and play. And MSH teachers are extraordinary. They are loving, nurturing, and have a genuine interest in our childrens development. We could not be happier. Thank you, MSH!
