Our kids loved this school! We needed a daycare for them for just a few weeks, as we were visiting the area for the summer. The owner and manager were both super responsive, helpful, and flexible. They helped me do everything online, since we weren’t able to visit the school before we got there. We felt totally comfortable enrolling our kids here, even with only having phone and email contact before they started. We were able to set up everything online with no problems. The kids had a great time at the summer camp. The programs were enriching and educational, and the splash days were a big hit. Would highly recommend.

I have only good things to say on the Goddard School of Herndon (Dulles). My 2.5 year has been going since April 2021 and if we were not moving to another city, I would have kept her there since she is so happy attending. The staff is loving and kind from admin such as Mrs. Minoo and Mrs. Abha to the lovely teachers such as Mrs. Rita. My daughter has rapidly learned so many skills and her language adaptability from speaking her native tongue predominantly to speaking English in the course of a few months has blown me away. The staff take great care especially during trying times of a Pandemic and they take great caution at keeping the kids healthy and safe. If you are looking for a program where your child will love and bloom in, this is your place. I give this facility my highest recommendation. Thank you to all the staff!

My son has been going to school here for almost a year. The kindergarten class was amazing, and my son seems to be ready for first grade skill-sets both in academically and socially.The teachers and staffs are kind, friendly, and professional. And I believe that they provided a safe and loving environment, and managed well the school system during this pandemic situation. My son really loved coming to school everyday.I did lots of research before I selected this school, and my family could not be happier with our choice. The Goddard School- Herndon is such a wonderful, welcoming, happy place! My kids (2 & 5) love attending and have gotten so much from the loving care and attention of the staff. They both love learning and come home excited to share what they learned that day. Being able to send our kids to Goddard School- Herndon has been such a comfort during this pandemic. To know they are being cared for safely and are getting the stimulation and attention they deserve has given my husband and I piece of mind while were able to continue our jobs from home.

The Goddard School provided a great foundation for Kindergarten both from an academic and emotional standpoint for our son (he was enrolled for Pre-K there for a year). From the caring teachers to the challenging curriculum (our son gets bored and tunes out when not stimulated), the school was amazing and we would highly recommend it to anyone.

All they care is for money, very unprofessional, do not have teachers at the morning time only assistance are in classrooms, don’t even follow given instructions for kids from parents. Very unhygienic and dirty place. Not recommended at all!

Love Goddard Herndon location. My son was in the school since he was 5 months. He has the best baby teachers who are very loving and fun. Now with his preschool teacher, he develops a lot of essential skills and shares with me lots of happy stories with his teacher and friends. The school is very clean and organized. Goddard feels like a family to my son and us.

I have been taking my kids to this school for over three years and I will say I couldnt be more impressed with the staff, their responsiveness and their care for family. My older one has food allergies and Goddard keeps abreast of expirations and updates. During the pandemic, I had my 5 year old participate in their Kindergarten program and she has developed really strong bonds with her friends and a passion for learning. Goddard was able to step in and help with the isolation jitters. I would recommend!! 5 stars.

I cannot say enough good things about the Goddard School of Herndon - our daughter has been attending for 1.5 years and looks forward to go to school every day. She loves the amazing teachers and staff who know each student by their name, who are caring, nurturing and have kids best interests. A special shout-out to Ms. Roya who has been amazing and who gets consistent compliments from our girl - as parents we couldnt be happier about our child feeling loved and cared for when we are at work.The school has several gated playgrounds in its territory to get the share of physical exercise when the weather allows. I enrolled my daughter in The Goddard School of Herndon after having unfavorable experiences at two other child care facilities in the area. I am a single mother working in the hospitality industry. Like many careers, there are times that unfortunately I need to leave my daughter in child care for long hours. Having her in a facility where I know she is receiving the best possible care is the most important factor that puts my mind at ease while I am working. I look at Goddard as an investment in my child’s cognitive, as well as, emotional development.My decision to continue to enroll my daughter in this positive learning environment is made with confidence. The administrative office staff is there when you first arrive saying good morning to my daughter by name. The teachers show genuine care for her as an individual when we walk into the class room each morning. Pictures of hands on learning arrive each day in my email along with verbal reports from the lead teacher when I pick her up. I could not be happier. My daughter would cry when I dropped her off at a previous child care facility and run to me with red puffy eyes when I picked her up. Once she started at Goddard she ran around the class room when I arrived to pick her up because she did not want to leave. I quickly saw that she was engaged in active learning. She was signing to me in ASL before she was able to communicate in “words”. She was also singing songs she had learned at school. The teachers are so kind and easy going, even with a pick up and drop off schedule that sometimes is not routine.Unfortunately, my daughter recently has not been attending school but Goddard has made every effort to help us during this difficult unchartered territory of COVID 19. Goddard quickly reacted by doing online learning classes for all ages. Zoom one-on-one sessions and even set up a parade for the kids to drive by for a wave to their teachers. This is an example of Goddard’s innovation and determination to ensure that our kids are learning in a fun environment despite this challenging time.I am very happy and grateful to know she is getting top quality, hands on learning and heart felt care for the hours of the day she isn’t with me. I would recommend Goddard to any future parents or current parents struggling to find the right fit for their little ones. I don’t see myself moving to any other location until I need to put my daughter into kindergarten and even then looking forward to utilizing the after-school programs that Goddard has to offer.

Our 2 year old son started going to Goddard few months back and he is loving it. He hugs his teachers every morning he goes to school, I think thats indicates how much he likes there. I have two kids attending Goddard - an infant and a toddler. Weve been going to this school for over 2 years, and we are very happy. The school is very clean/safe, and the program is very enriching/structured. Since weve been here for awhile, Ive met most of the teachers and administration. The teachers are very kind and patient. We took a month break and transferred my toddler to another school due to costs and location, but the other school could not compare to Goddard. We enrolled the toddler back with the infant, and they are both very happy. We highly recommend!

My family loves The Goddard School. We transferred from a near by day care facility that questioned our sons development at roughly 2.5 years old. Goddard accepted him with open arms. He was fully potty trained after attending school for just 2 days and vocabulary flourished overnight. The daily classroom activites were enriching and just what he needed. After a few months at Goddard we couldnt believe how much he was talking/using his words and communicating with everyone. When people meet our son they cant believe he is only 3 years old. The teachers are patient, well prepared and kind. Goddard is always exceptionally clean and we feel confident when dropping him off every day. Our son is always excited to get up, go to school and see his teachers and friends. Ms. Shifali and her administative staff have created a teaching enviornment like no other. We are grateful for The Goddard School and all that theyve done for our family and would 100% reccommend them to EVERYONE!

We feel so great about sending our child to Goddard in Herndon. The staff is extremely friendly, educated, and responsive. The teachers are always working with our child on growth areas and keeping us informed on his progresses. Weve seen our child really blossom at Goddard and are so grateful to have that peace of mind leaving him there five days a week. The facility is great! Its super clean and very well maintained. The Front Office Staff is very helpful and always knows whats going on in each classroom (how do they keep up? Wizards!) All around a great school full of smiles and success.

My child started the Goddard School in Herndon back in August of 2018. I was very anxious about him getting acclimated at first because for 2 years he went to work with his mother. Going into a school setting was new territory for him. Luckily, he was able to start his first school experience with Miss Marcy in her Early Preschool class. She is an exceptional teacher, very caring, very patient but also very firm and direct when the child needs that. I dont think he would have adjusted as quickly as he did to school if it wasnt for Miss Marcy. The Goddard School curriculum is awesome. I love the way my child is learning and growing each and every day. He has moved up to the Preschool 2 room with Miss Dawn & Miss Alexia. They have been terrific. He has been learning so much. From writing his letters, to learning mandarin, to number recognition. Miss Alexia also teaches the class a new Spanish word each week. The Goddard school was the best choice for our family and the teachers and staff have been wonderful.

After switching our 3 year old to Goddard, we saw considerable improvement in his learning. Goddard definitely hires good teachers, which makes a big difference. We have experienced other schools hiring sub par teachers and it has direct impact on the kids. Our kids certainly enjoy going to Goddard. We highly recommend Goddard!!!

It has been a wonderful experience for us to have our 3.5yr old in Goddard School for the past 3mons. The teachers are so warm and patient with the kids. Her potty training was so easy once she joined the school as the teachers were very helpful. My daughter is a picky eater but she started doing a great job with eating on her own once she started school.The snacks the school provides are healthy and interesting for the kids to eat. Her talking skills have developed so well in a refined manner. She is more independent now. The daily activity report the teachers send everyday is very helpful in knowing what your kid did in her class all day. The school engages the kids in different activities helping the kids grow and learn a lot of things at the right age.Overall she is a happy kid and loves to go to her school. As a parent, we dont have to worry or think about our kid when she is at school and when we are at work.

Providing a tour of the facility, patiently answering our queries, taking us through step-by-step and making us feel comfortable with the entire process is what any parent would want. The entire team at Goddard, Herndon is outstanding.Our little one has spent a month now @ this daycare and I must say we are very impressed with the teachers, curriculum and the updates we get every day. We started our daughter at the Goddard School when she was five months old, and we couldnt be happier. I knew it was a perfect fit when I saw the nursery name for the infant room was called little lambs! (one of my favorite things to call my daughter) Everyday she has a smile on her face when she enters the room. Ms. Brittani, Ms. Dini, and Ms. Tasha are patient, sensitive and attentive to all the infants and manage the nursery with deep care. My daughter seems to be learning quickly, and I am more than pleased with their program. Besides compassionate care, I was looking for safety and cleanliness, and these are provided daily at the Goddard School. The owner and office managers are always smiling and there to greet you at drop off and pick up. We love it here and are very happy with our daughters care. We highly recommend the Dulles Goddard School!

This daycare has an extremely high turnover rate. If your kid is older like our son you can call yourself lucky. The turn over rate for the older kids is high, but what I heard from friends is that its 10x worse on the first floor. Only one teacher from the first floor is still there and the school opened 2-3 years ago. All directors left, too.When my sons teachers left we still had to pay the full amount even though they only had interim teachers that couldnt speak proper English. The new teachers also didnt get paid for 3 months while we where charged the full amount.If you bring up any concerns the teachers will complain to the owner who will attack you and remind you about a missed payment from 14 months ago.If you are not desperate, this is not a daycare to send your kid to. Also read the other reviews that are not paid by the owners.

In Northern Virginia, a word of mouth is very powerful when it comes to child care that is high quality. I know when I drop my son off at Goddard school he literally is in the most caring and gracious hands I could ever trust him to. Its the amazing leadership and caring staff that makes this school great. They have been incredibly supportive in treating my special needs child with the utmost care and helping him streamline with other kids. Goddard also offers an unique option of packing lunch from home or order food from a third party catering company. This school really knows how to control food allergies. I highly recommend Goddard school of Dulles!

We recently moved from Maryland to Virginia and wanted to move our daughter to be in daycare near our new home. We chose the Goddard School for the stellar reputation that The Goddard School has across the area, and we have not been disappointed. Our daughter has learned a lot thanks to Goddard’s in depth curriculum and we really feel like she has developed substantially since we moved. All of the teachers at this Goddard location are really great and the up to date facilities make us feel like our daughter is in safe hands every day.

Since the two highly qualified and loving teachers that were absolutely wonderful with my son and other students left things started to go DOWNHILL. I dont blame the teachers for leaving... for being offered no benefits while they hold real degrees and they were often caught in the middle of the angry parents since the school failed numerous times to resolve their cooling issue and the kids were getting sick and sweating on pick up. The facility is clean, as it is new, but either freezing one day or scorching the next and they are not interested in truly resolving it just sweeping it under the rug. The NEW teachers were brought in so quickly and no regard or formal exit was given to the teachers who were leaving and had dedicated so much of their hearts and love to the children. This institution made rash decisions to take on more children and more money but not value the teachers or the education they were providing the accumulating students. Before we left my son was also scratched in the face while the new teachers gabbed away and did not supervise another child grabbing his shirt and pulling him down to the ground and getting on top of him. The play area was not big so this should have been properly monitored. I feel it a need to state that this school has the wrong progression in mind. Its about quantity not quality. The husband of the owner is genuinely welcoming but the owner herself gives you a bad feeling that she is being extremely fake. She speaks to you very patronizingly, especially if you have a concern with payment. It is a heavily Indian dominated place with not much attention paid to other races we did not see an issue right away as the teachers were diverse, until they were not. The Goddard generally has a good reputation but it seems anyone can open a building and call it a Goddard school these days.

I love everything about The Goddard School (Herndon-Dulles). Education programs are amazing, that is what is most important. The teachers are well prepared and very nice. The school is run very efficiently with lots of extracurricular activities for the children as well. I love the school. Would recommend to anyone.

The Goddard School (Herndon) was an amazing experience for my 2 y/o daughter. It was the first time for her at day care and the teachers were exceptionally nurturing and caring. She loved to go to school every morning and I was very happy to see her learn so many things by playing and making friends! I recommend it 100%

The Goddard school in Herndon is a perfect place for my son to start his preschool education - very warm and welcoming environment, co-operative staff, knowledgeable teachers, and a good security system.Everyday after school, my son is full of stories about what he did in school: science experiments, songs, chess moves, Chinese words and crafts. Everyday is full of fun and excitement. His teachers Ms.Kathy and Ms. Alexis made his first couple of days very smooth.This is a great place to start early education for kids.

I give Goddard School an A+. We attended 2 preschools prior to coming to Goddard, and I can see a day and night difference in my child. My daughter is learning something new each day and I can clearly see her progress. The communication I get from teachers on a daily basis is wonderful! At other schools I have attended it was hard to get a word out of the teachers. Here I speak to the teacher daily. It is a nice family environment where I know my daughter is safe and getting an outstanding early education. I know she will be ready for elementary school. Our daughter has been with the Goddard School Herndon for over a year now, and we couldnt be happier with the way they have taken care of her and guided her through her early development. When she moved to the Babys First Steps room, she was full on walking by the next weekend. The teachers have been very caring toward our daughter and are quick to let us know her achievements and any information from her day that we should know. Even the teachers I do not know usually stop to say hello as we are coming or going. The rooms are clean and have plenty of room for the kids to move around in and they have a lot of diverse activities throughout the day. Highly recommend.

I recently enrolled my son at The Goddard School in Herndon and I have been very impressed with the level of care and education he has been receiving. His teacher is wonderful and made him feel comfortable his first week there. We were initially worried as this was his first time attending a preschool. Also, we have been receiving outstanding communication from the Owner and Director who we see there on a daily basis. Without their support and the comfort we have with them it would have been difficult to make the decision to go back to work for my wife. Since our daughter started in the first steps room over a year ago, our experience with the Goddard School has been nothing short of exceptional. The teachers are extremely warm and caring. Our daughter even includes her current teachers in her list of best friends! The progress she has made over the last year is amazing. From learning to count to potty training, the teachers have helped every step of the way. She is also learning sign language and yoga and teaches it to us at home. Beyond the teachers, the other staff is also amazing. Before we leave school every night, our daughter peeks into both the owner, Ms. Shifalis office, as well as the Directors office (Ms. Lola and Ms. Amanda) to say goodbye and give hugs. She is always excited to go to school in the morning (declaring yay school! when we pull into the parking lot) and sometimes its a struggle to get her to leave school in the evening. She loves it that much. I can say without hesitation that we made the right decision choosing the Goddard School.

My little one has been with the school since they have opened. As a new parent I was apprehensive about someone taking care of my child. Shifali and her staff have been amazing. The wonderful staff and great facilities eased my anxiety. The best part is that my son loves it there. My 3 year old daughter enjoys going to the Goddard school. They train on the fine motor skills like painting and writing. The staff are kind and often provide feedback about my childs progress in class. My son (2yo) has been going to The Goddard School in Herndon for the past 4 months and I can not say enough kind words about the school. When we were looking for the perfect school for our son, we wanted somewhere that focused on not only education, but also making a genuine connection between the staff and our family. We found this very quickly with The Goddard School. They focus on making learning enjoyable through their FLEX program. My son comes home showing us new things he has learned every day (including yoga and sign language)! We also get a personalized report (and picture!) on what he did each and every day. The staff really cares about his individual growth and development and it shows. The owner even takes the time to get to know each family and child. I highly recommend The Goddard School!

I highly recommend The Goddard School, Herndon. Their care and education system for PreSchool kids is great. It is a new school and the management takes utmost care when it comes to cleanliness, class curriculum, personal attention to kids and their activities. My 3 yr old daughter wants to go to school even on weekends and loves her teachers. She has been learning a lot of new things and we see improvement in her every day.The school provides a daily activity report which helps us understand how her day was and what she has been learning.

I called to inquire about pricing and availability and was rudely told that she was busy and just to come to their open house. I understand that sometimes schools do not want to give their pricing over the phone, but the interaction was rude. I will not be attending this location.

In short - We LOVE The Goddard School!In November 2015 we enrolled in The Goddard School Herndon. My family takes child care and the care of our loved ones very seriously. They are an extension of our family. There must be trust, open communication, understanding and honesty and love to make this relationship work. I can truly say that we have found that here at The Goddard School of Herndon. We very much enjoy the FLEX and STEM learning curriculum, wonderful and caring staff, the abundance of learning activities and happiness of the children.As our daughter has grown over the past year, she continues to be engaged in learning and reaching (and exceeding) her milestones for her age group. The teachers are and have always been wonderful. Any time of day I can talk to them about things she is learning or doing at home, fun things we enjoy outside of school and things that correlate between school and home, and even new things (like potty training and tips that worked at home that we both could do to be consistent).Transitioning up as she has grown has been a good experience as well (I cant believe shes growing so fast! Time please slow down!). A notable benefit that I have always been fond of, is that in preparation to transition to the next room/class, the little one spends some time in the next class to help familiarize them with the teachers and children. This is wonderful, because it allows them to feel more comfortable and the transition isnt as overwhelming when the time comes. I love that the staff gets to interact with the children even when they move up to the next classes. The large windows are wonderful and allow sharing smiles and waves as teachers and familiar faces to stop by without entering or disrupting activities.The staff is always easy to talk to, about anything. From the Owner to the Directors, teachers and staff, everyone is and has always had open communication. Whether it be a simple hello, calling to check on how my little one is doing during the day, giving a heads up to the teachers because of a rough nights sleep or incorporating them in celebratory things - Like a special Friday song we like to sing :) we know that they all care for not only our little ones, but our family as we are all one. As I mentioned before, having the extension of family is key for my family. I have found that here. Without a doubt, I know that they take this seriously and do what is best not only for my child (and all the other children) but for my family.Another thing I really love is the daily report that we receive. The Preschool To Me app is wonderful too! IT is amazing to have the opportunity to view the daily photo of our little one, see what she did throughout the day, communicate notes to the staff (absent days, heads up messages), memorable moments and to be able to receive notes from the teacher as well as have the school announcements all consolidated in this one app. I use this daily and am so happy to have it!I highly recommend this school. My 2 year old has been at Goddard for almost 3 months and Ive noticed a huge improvement in his socialization and his speaking. He is trying to talk in sentences and knows all his colors (calls them out when he sees them) and seems at home there. He is thriving more than I expected and we couldnt be happier. The teachers are all so warm, inviting, and super friendly and caring for the kids (makes a mom feel better knowing that the person who is looking over their child seems to truly care for him). The classrooms are so new and clean and full of fun. I love the daily reports and all the crafts that I get to take home and display at work :-) I would definitely recommend Goddard in Herndon to anyone who is looking and having a hard time deciding. My son has been attending The Goddard School since August 2015. We love it! You know you are in a great place when he is eager to jump out of the car to get inside. We have gone through two classrooms and we are on our way to a third. The passion and love they have for the children, plus their push for education (STEAM, yoga, and ASL) is everything I could have dreamed for my little man. The owner, Ms. Saini, is extremely open to hearing any issues. She is courteous and extremely professional. My husband and I had a few issues we wanted addressed, and she was extremely responsive. I cant say enough about the quality of teachers and the bright space that is The Goddard School. Thank you Goddard!!

My son , who is almost 4 now has been attending The Goddard School at Herndon since 2016 when my son was just 18 Months old. The entire staff is very caring and I feel that they genuinely love my Son. To our family, that is the most important thing in a child care center/school. Ofcourse, the education aspect is also important and this center definitely excels at that. But, every day when my son runs over to hug a teacher when he walks in the door, I know he is spending the day in a place where he feels protected, comfortable and loved.I must say that the center is well organized, with a good curriculum designed as per their ages. All the teachers at the school are skilled and the Owner Shifali and her entire staff is wonderful, and are always very responsive.

The Goddard School at Herndon has provided a very bright, positive and intellectually curious environment for my daughters. They are always happy and looking forward to school!

My child has been attending the Goddard School in Herndon since she was three-months-old. She is almost 16-months-old now and I am extremely happy with my choice to enroll her there. The school administrators have a strong focus on the safety of the children, and the school has so much more than that to offer. The teachers and other staff members are very loving and genuinely care for the children. Even teachers from other classrooms and the front desk staff know my child by name. My little one is engaged in educational and fun activities throughout the day and has learned so much. She was born over two months premature and has amazed her infant development specialists with her progress. We have an appointment this week with the specialists and I look forward to telling them that beyond the many English words she is able to speak, she knows some sign language and at least one Spanish word (agua)! I give the Goddard School a lot of credit for helping my daughter to make such wonderful strides, and for the great care they took in loving on my tiny little miracle girl. I truly feel the teachers and staff at Goddard School are an extension of our little family. I adore her classmates and know them by name, as well as many of the children in the rooms above and below her. She has developed some beautiful little friendships over the past year. I have great peace of mind knowing not only does my daughter receive excellent care, she is actively learning and enjoying herself.

Amazing experience with Goddard Herndon school. Its now being 1.5 years my son going to Goddard. It was my sons first school so were little bit nervous about choosing a school as i know he would be needing some help here n there, i m glad we choose Goddard . All teachers are all truly wonderful and are invested in doing the very best for your child. Also I really like the program of sending daily status report of your child you can see what he learnt , what he ate etc. Owner Miss Shifali she is amazing, if you have any concerns she always listens and resolve them without any follow-up. There are starting some really cool programs like FitKids Soccer so if you want you can sign up for your kid, looking forward for more programs like this. I highly recommend Goddard school.

I highly recommend The Goddard School in Herndon for their care and education of young children. The management and teachers welcomed us from the first day when they gave us a tour of the school. They have colorful decorations in the classrooms, children artwork on the walls, and a welcoming mural. The school is new and is extremely clean. My soon to be 2 year old son is excited to go to school each day and gets to make new friends.I like the fact that the school provides a daily report by email on what my son learned that day, how much he ate, and how often his diaper was changed. We also get a picture of him each day. Now I can see what my son is learning each day.If you are looking for a high quality preschool I highly suggest you call The Goddard School in Herndon.

As a first time mom, I was apprehensive about sending my child to daycare. My head swirled with a million ifs and buts and the interest of my child was a priority. All my inquiries and worries were put to rest after meeting with Ms. Saini . My child has bloomed over the past few months and he loves his teachers and classmates.The school ensures the safety and security of all children; they pay a lot of attention to their care and learning . Highly recommended.

It is a great pre-school in our area. Especially the management and teachers are great. Would recommend anyone who is looking for pre-school in Herndon area to visit here before deciding on other schools.

My daughter started attending The Goddard School - Herndon about 2.5 years ago. Her previous school I DETESTED from the very first day. My wife had read those stories about parents who have tragically driven off to work forgetting that their child was in the car and so avoiding that outcome with this daycare which is right around the corner from us was the primary driver initially - and so I swallowed that for a time.Every time I dropped her off as an infant I was SEETHING. I didnt like the owner, the cleanliness levels of the school, the staff were only marginally trained, the classrooms very small, and one of the teachers really bothered me - the way that an overly-friendly person makes you feel like they might be a psychopath. Our daughter had suffered three injuries - two of which we brought to the attention of the owner as suspicious (as our pediatrician concurred). At which point I focused on getting her out of there.Where we live there are not a lot of options in child care - much less high quality. Most places appeared to be run with the same level problems - dilapidated facilities, dubiously trained staff, profit-focused owners, etc.Let me comment on the profit-focused owners for a second. This owner drove a Mercedes-Benz S550 AMG - about $150,000 vehicle and appeared to rotate into a new one every two years. Now I dont begrudge her ability to afford that through running a daycare business(es). Wish that were me. That said, when the facility is run down and the staff marginally trained, etc., then it seems like youre profiting at my childs expense. Now we have a problem.I visited a lot of day care providers - at least 10 facilities radiating out from our home a good 30 minutes drive in almost every direction. It took a lot of time to schedule and visit. And it came down to BeanTree, Goddard (two), Primrose, and one other place.The final four-ish were all fine places, but either cost was prohibitive in one case, or the location was right off the highway (noise and exhaust fumes), or the management gave me extreme pause (which others had noted in Yelp reviews as well).Which brings me to Goddard - Herndon.I have been EXTREMELY PLEASED with my daughters attendance here. The owner is a *warm* and *competent* daycare business owner which she has reflected in her executive staff hires as well. SUPER pleased with the talents and warmth of the teaching staff. Its clean and bright and a happy place. I LOVE the exposure to the diversity in the students and families that attend here as well.For those who understand, its like the difference between going to a McDonalds (particularly the old dilapidated ones) vs. going to a Chic-fil-A (old or new). From food quality, to staff training and values, and cleanliness - and not for a materially more expensive visit.I dont worry about my daughter during the day at all when shes at Goddard - Herndon. That is the best compliment I can offer this school - or any school.

We moved to this area last December and my son joined The Goddard School in January 2017. Before joining to his new toddler class, owner Ms. Shifali encouraged us to introduce our son to his teachers Miss.Tanya and Miss. Ashley in December itself which really helped him to know them better. In the beginning it was very hard for him to adjust into new environment as he was accustomed to his old day care routine but with proper attention and versatile activities and new little friends he started liking his new class. The staff is very friendly and caring. My son’s teacher used to send me his pictures doing some activities as he use to cry at the time of drop off. Teachers are really nice and well educated and they help each and every kids to explore things by themselves. They don’t force them to do activities in certain ways. I really liked the detail Daily Activity report from his teacher with a cute pic of my son doing the same.I really liked mid-year analysis on my son’s behaviors, how he respond in different situation, how his behavior with other kids, etc. and how his teachers are working and helping kids to learn good things, yoga poses, new languages.Ms. Shifali is very proactive and friendly. She always respond to our questions through phone or email or in person. They have a very good Summer Program for kids. Even for toddlers they have lot like Robotics, Goddard Talent, Splash day, Magic show, Engineering, etc.In July my son moved to his new class “Get Set” as he turned 2 ½ and the transition was very smooth. His new teachers Ms.Mikko and Miss Kara are really nice and they both enjoy teaching and playing with the kids. My son really like to go to Goddard school. He is happy, enjoying and learning new things. I am happy and trust The Goddard School Herndon.

Our son was at another Preschool a year ago and we thought we had found the best Preschool option. Now we relocated to NoVA and we found The Goddard School in Herndon and this Preschool has even exceeded our previous one. We feel totally safe leaving our son here and know he is receiving care and support from outstanding teachers. Also the excellent academic program is well planned and we are assured he is learning each day. We receive daily reports via email and a picture of what our son is learning. Everyday he comes back home telling us something new he learned. And I can ask him what he did on the activities since I can see them on the daily reports.The Owner and Director know the children by name and are always available to talk to me. They address any small concerns right away. I speak with the Owner almost on a daily basis during pick-up time and can see she is truly trying to make the best Preschool possible for the children.The best part is when my son smiles and says ‘bye’ to me as I go to work, and his smile shows me I am leaving him in a place where he is happy. I totally recommend The Goddard School Herndon location if you live or work in the area.

Our daughter has been at the Goddard School in Herndon for a year and half now (shes now 3 and a half). We had a bad taste for daycare after our previous experience, so going in we had our reservations. The owner Shifali Saini sat us down, explained the program, we toured the school, discussed the curriculum (yeah curriculum, I know right, my kid was 1 1/2) walked us through a typical day at the school and introduced us to the teachers and staff. After speaking with her I can say I felt a huge weight lifted off my chest. I was impressed. After one week my daughter was coming home talking more, telling me about her day and teachers, Goddard is NOT a daycare its a school. I have so many good things to say I dont know if I can express my feelings accurately for Ms Shifali and the rest of staff. Ms Amanda, Ms Lola, Ms Meeko (Meeko!), the morning staff (Thank you for getting up so early, I couldnt work without you), I will never forget you all helped me raise my daughter and teach her so much in such a short time. Our family is moving to our first house and our time at The Goddard School is coming to a close. Our family will forever be grateful for your expertise, professionalism and the loving care you gave our daughter and each and every child at the school. You all treated us as family and for that you will forever be a part of ours.

Updates to my original post, below! Covid has had such a profound impact on many families. While my son had graduated from Goddard and started public school - the onset of Covid let to at-home learning which was not suiting his learning needs. Goddard set-up a FANTASTIC school-age children program where my child received assistance logging into classes and completing his work. His teacher, Ms. Padmini, is so incredible. My son continues to be ahead-of-the-curve in his learning and has matured so much. He is happy and mentall heatlhy and I attribute that completely to the wonderful staff and curriculum at Goddard! THANK YOU, GODDARD!My son has grown so much since starting with Goddard! At only 17 months, he is highly verbal, socially interactive and even knows some beginners sign-language and Spanish. Thank you, Goddard!
