Our daughter started her first childcare experience with Chesterbrook back when Covid started to be a concern which was very scary for us. But since being there my mind has been put at ease every step of the way. These ladies are working so hard to keep everyone safe on top of doing their jobs amazingly well. Our daughter is very advanced in her speech at 18 months and I feel that Chesterbrook is to thank for that. We are so grateful we found Chesterbrook!

We love our Chesterbrook! The teachers and staff are awesome and you can tell they all really care about each and every student! Each classroom is super clean and daily activities are both fun and structured (but more play). Highly recommend.

This school is wonderful. The assistant principal has done an incredible job communicating with parents during this pandemic. The school has done an awesome job keeping the kids involved, entertained and informed. They continue week after week sending information for parents and kids to do things indoors, outside and even educational videos. The weekly zoom classes have been a great way to help keep the kids on schedule and stimulated. I appreciate how hard they’ve worked to keep everyone on the same page.

Our eldest goes here. She absolutely loves going to Chesterbrooke. Even at this time of crisis, they’ve done a great job following the CDC guidelines and safeguarding the health of our children. A special thanks to Christina (principal), Yasmine (assistant principal) and all the other teachers of Chesterbrooke especially, Ms Abi and Latoya. We love Chesterbrooke Academy!

My children have attended Chesterbrook Academy for the last 3+ years. We love the school. The administration is attentive to our needs and any concerns we have. The teaching staff is wonderful. The curriculum is great and at the appropriate level for the kids - while challenging them. Our oldest was more than ready for Kindergarten when he left Chesterbrook. We are also looking forward to a fun-filled summer with all the activities they have planned.

As a current family we felt compelled to write a review. In the 5 years of being at this school we have seen a lot. We have been through a couple principals and we are by far happy with the leadership of Ms. Chandrea and her current Assistant Principal. The teachers are great and if we have ever needed anything our needs are always met with great care and concern. The teachers are great and we have seen this school grow tremendously under Ms. Chandrea. The teachers are happy and there is a reason why the teachers stay at the school. The school was renovated last year and as a current parent it felt good to see investments being made back into the school that we have come to know and love.

Discriminate on low income families I enrolled my daughter at chesterbrook because its close to my job and I heard they had a great learning program. I informed the manager I had applied for child care resources and was told they accept. I struggled with the fees for the first month and a Monthly later I was approved by the state for assistance. I informed the manager and she advise me then they dont accept 100% of the child care resource benefit and they are only willing to accept 40%. I advise them I can not afford it and Im sad that I will have to find other means to child care/early education for my daughter. The manager informed me that all private early education schools have agreed together to accept less of this benefit. In other words good luck....Concern: if the state is helping families with low income why would you turn this money away? Or is it the money that is being turn away? Denying low income people and only allow families that can afford to pay out of pocket the benefit of a early education for there children is wrong. It could lead to questions of racism, discrimination, or favoring a particular group of people. I believe this should be investigated.

I inquired information to enroll my 13 month old son at this chesterbrook location. Had a rushed tour with the principal and only saw the classroom that would potentially be my sons. The tour lasted all of 5 maybe 10 mins, but even then I decided to move forward. The principal and her assistant had the worse communication skills, at least when it came to my son and our family. They never remembered me when I called, or why I was calling or to call me back. And even then I proceeded to pay the $90 registration fee over the phone and was instructed I would be emailed my receipt.. NEVER GOT the receipt(thank god for credit card statements). Once that was done I visited again to pick up registration packet and the assistant again didn’t know who I was, why I was there or if I had even paid the fee but gave me the packet anyway. So this may be a good school but it wasn’t the right fit for my family and they need to do better! It would have been nice to at least get a call to as why I paid to register and not proceed but that’s neither here nor there.

We moved here from Boston over a year ago. Went through multiple daycares. Couldnt find one we were happy with. One where we knew our children were safe. Until we came here. Miss Chandrea is by far the best. We arent just a paycheck to her. She heard my needs/wants for my children and worked with my husband and I every step of the way.My daughter is currently in Miss Yazmines class. I can, without a doubt, say that this teacher loves my daughter as if she were her own. Working with her on her strengths and weakness, preparing her for K5. Breaks my heart that this is the last year my daughter will get to be with her, but happy to know that my son will now be able to be surrounded by the same love Miss Yazmine has given to my daughter. The amount of time and love these two women have provided for me and my family is something I will never forget. And will forever be grateful for. We didnt have family when we moved here, but now, we do.I highly recommend this school to any family in need of care and protection for your child. They Will work with you every step of the way.
