My kid grew out of the 1/2 size cello less than a year so I was looking for a 3/4 one for her. The owner, Jo, picked up several cellos for her to try. He himself is a professional musician so he actually played beautiful music with each of the cellos. It was very helpful to listen to different tone colors before choosing the right one. He is very friendly and easy to communicate with. I highly recommend this place!

My son has been taking a lesson here for about 2 years, and he has shown a lot of improvement. The owner kindly offers a extra free masterclass where kids can get good tips from other teachers. Also purchased my sons instrument a few times since hes growing, and they were excellent! Love this place!

It is the best music school in Irvine. You can learn many kinds of musical instruments, and you can take a 1:1 class with high-quality teachers. Regular recitals and master classes are really helpful.There is an instrument shop, too. So it is convenient to try several instruments and purchase them. Good instruments are available, so I bought my sons violin and he uses it very well.

Mr. Cho has helped me immensely with my cello. I had friends growing up who had taken lessons from with Mr. Cho and they recommended me to him for cello repairs. Not only did he carve me a new bridge and repair a crack near the saddle of my instrument, he walked me through the process of how the repairs would be done and offered 3 different bridge cuts at different price ranges. Excellent service!

I brought my daughters viola from Joe at the Vienna Music Shop. We used rental program when she start the lesson. After 6 months, I purchased her own viola. Because they have good promotion programs. The teacher is very nice and professional. Joe has acknowledge and is professional. Also He spends a lot of time making fine adjustments to the instruments. I am a violin teacher and I recommend Vienna School of Music for the instrument shop. I have been many places in Irvine and Coast Mesa for looking for violins for my students. They have so many choices of good violins in reasonable price. I tried more 10 violins and most of them are very good with good price. The owner also let you rent a violin with cheap price. You dont have to go far. It is in Irvine!

My son is taking cello lesson w Micheal and he loves it. Sound changed dramatically after couple of sessions. He recently got into Honor Chamber as well. Joe, the owner, ran special review sessions(Master class) to prepare kids for the auditions on few weekends which were very helpful since it was my sons 1st audition to try out Honor. We are very happy with Vienna music school!

Everyone from the owner, Joe, to all the teachers and staff are excellent! I first went to Vienna to get a new full size violin. Mr. Joe picked about six violins for me to try. Since I was not sure, he allowed us to take it home so that I could try playing with them with my private teacher. I went to Vienna when my new full size violins E string broke. Since it was new, Mr. Joe fixed it for me immediately. Vienna Music Institute is a great place to get a new instrument.

We have ben purchasing my daughters violas from Joe at Vienna Music Shop since she first learned how to play in 4th grade until now playing in the Pacific Youth Symphony Orchestra these past 3 years. He has found beautiful instruments for her to choose from and has been good about allowing us to trade in her smaller instrument. He spends a lot of time making fine adjustments to the instruments to her liking so that she always gets the instrument she truly loves the sound of and truly loves to play.
