If this business thinks they can treat people like this, i feel sorry for anyone who comes in their path.There is not one word of truth to their claims ofme wanting a refund or to return to their terrible establishment. Wife went here and she loves it. They were super good and she really enjoyed it. Seems like the teachers there pushed hard to get the best results out of their students but also had fun. Owner Alex gives everyone allot of personal attention and really talks over goals and sets out a concrete plan to achieve those goals. When it came time to get her out there and get a job they guided her through that as well and stayed on it until she was in a great casino and working the game she wanted to work. I love it when a plan comes together. Her super knowledgeable teacher Lisa, she can’t stop talking about. Lisa empowered her with knowledge, confidence a kick in the butt when she needed it . This personal touch of both Alex and Lisa really got her to not only learn how to deal but learn how to become a good dealer that loves to deal. On top of all that there are constantly managers of all the top casinos popping in to check out possible hires and veteran dealers come for fun or to sharpen their skills, so a ton of great connects and knowledge being shared. The other teachers were fantastic to learn from, giving their own little tips to make the game easier for you to deal. Great school.Really accommodating.Normally really packed but the school can handle either amounts of traffic.There are plenty of teachers to teach blackjack and specialty games.What really impressed me was teaching of soft skills, procedure and customer service.Other courses I seen only teach the game. Here we learned how to handle and manage the rack. There are even mock games held with real casino cheques, so its live training not just classroom.This has the most extensive Craps course I been in.Presses are taught. Pressing two bets simultaneously. Even with structured courses the class can be taught at your own pace and work schedule.Not only are you trained but there is job placement.After learning 2 games I was hired in under 5weeks worth of training.

I ended up researching for a long while before choosing a specific dealing school to go to and Im definitely glad I ended up picking this one! The owner Alex is very personable and I was very nervous about starting dealing school but even when I first arrived to sign up and start school I felt really welcomed and comfortable in the environment. Theres several different instructors at school with all different teaching styles for each of the games and theyre all knowledgeable and friendly and fun to be around while you learn the games you choose. The scheduling is very flexible and even if youre only able to come a couple days per week within a short amount of time you should still be ready to audition for a dealing job. Alex has connections to a ton of casinos all around the Las Vegas area, so it doesnt matter whether youre near the strip, or an area like Henderson or upper North Las Vegas, hell be able to find places for you to get an audition at and start your dealing career. I started around three months ago and was only able to go 2 or 3 days per week and I now have a casino job just slightly off the strip that Im very happy with and got the job on my very first audition. After calling the other schools in the Las Vegas area I contacted CEG Dealer School. As soon as I spoke with owner Alex Kim I knew I was speaking to the right guy. Good attitude, positive and super friendly. While attending CEG I always felt comfortable and at ease. Alex makes you feel at home and he gives you the tools necessary to pass an audition to be employed in a successful casino. Thanks Alex for everything.

I recently moved to Las Vegas and was looking for a way to get a job in the casino. I looked at 4 different schools before deciding on CEG Dealer School. The reason I chose CEG is because Alex was very honest and straight forward with me. He explained what he saw out there in the industry and let me know what it would take to reach my goals. Another reason I came to CEG was because there are enough teachers during peak school hours. At other schools I noticed that the student to teacher ratio was high during peak hours and I felt that I might not get the attention I needed to learn quickly. With the help of Alex and his team of 5 teachers I got hired at 2 casinos after only 10 days of schooling and learning 2 games. Its been 3 weeks since I started dealer school and CEG has placed 11 dealers into casinos. AWESOME! Im so glad that I chose CEG Dealer School!

The instructors are incredible and tailored the lessons to my learning speed. The 1-on-1 style made sure I had an instructor watching me almost all the time to make sure I was doing things correctly. When I was ready, I was sent to a casino to audition and I was hired for craps on my first try. I would recommend CEG to anyone looking to learn quickly and correctly, and to get the skills to be hired fast.

This school is great. Flexible hours. Located near many casinos. Modern equipment. Low cost and teaches what you need to know to land the job. School was simple and easy thanks to clear instruction.Alex is great patient, personable and knowledgeable. His courses are set up to teach you the right way, right away. He shows dedication putting in time and effort.Plan on returning when it is time to learn the other games. I learned blackjack, roulette and baccarat. Plan on learning to carnival games and craps. I got hired on my first try. Completed the courses in a few months only going on Saturdays and doing the home studies.

Awesome school for gaming, learning, meeting, and fine tuning your dealing skills so that you are ready for any audition you take on! Instructor Alex is an experienced veteran dealer/supervisor that has dealt and managed all over town. He knows how to get the best out of his students and provides excellent interview advice that is essential to getting that dream job! I left the business for a short period of time and had an audition to get back in the industry; Alex let me come in and train with him and other students for a very reasonable flat daily rate. Best dealing school in Vegas! They taught me how to deal properly and they provided an excellent environment to learn in. The teachers are incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and encouraging. The school has nice and friendly environment. The director Alex cares about the business, offered flexible schedule and even his own time, has under control the learning process of each student. He is doing exceptionally well as an HR manager by hiring the teachers that work there. I have learned games mostly with Sarah and Mike (and Alex himself) who are very professional, helpful and easy to approach. I have never made any reviews, but this school must be recognized.

Going to dealing school is awesome, Alex and Lisa are great and fun teachers, you can always count on them to always teach the proper way of dealing and to help you out. Its an awesome experience learning all the games and getting to meet all the other students is a great plus. Always having fun along the way.

I looked into dealer schools before moving to Nevada while here I checked it out to make sure this was the place for me. It was the best decision I could have made. I signed up for three games blackjack,roulette, and dice. Alex and his instructors are the best they really take the time to help each student at any level whether theyve played before or new to the game. Alex in my opinion goes above and beyond when it comes to helping with placement he genuinely cares and wants you to succeed. I would like to give a big thank you to Alex! THE BEST TEACHER IN THE WORLD! Lets start off with my first week being there. It was a struggle lol but Alex helped me get through it. He told me to study.... when I heard that, in my head I said Im not going to study. Next day he asked if I studied I said no. Like when he started getting tough on my until started to study. I made flash cards and started studying with the playing cards. STUDYING ACTUALLY HELPS! Alex is the best he has lots of patience and strategy to help you with the struggles you have. The first time i came across CEG Dealer School, I thought this was a small and compact building with little to no students, but after going in for information my opinion changed. I spoke with the business owner and teacher Alex Kim, and told me about how classes work. I currently have a management position at Thai Style Noodle House, so I was curious as to how classes would work for me. Alex really helped me out with this one, all his teachings stand at a 1:1 ratio, and even on his days off he still came in for private lessons. The way that this class teaches is really simple and easy to understand as well: step by step examples with a few packets to fully understand the teachings. Alex Kim, the owner and his many staff members prepare you for work at the Casinos.Alex and his staff of instructors are Casino working professionals who have been in the trenches. Many of his instructors are still working in the top Casinos on Las Vegas strip. I started not knowing a thing about this profession and I will soon be prepared to work in a new field.There are many current dealers going to this school to upgrade and learn additional games for their work to gain promotions at their job. The best part is since I have been here I see 2 or 3 students a week go for their job auditions/interviews and return that same day with a new job and profession.Update : my son completed Dice (Craps) and Blackjack classes and still has 3 classes to complete and he has already been offered a job at the Cannery Casino Resort. We are very happy with Alex, the owner. Alex helped my son set up his audition/interview and let us know everything expected from the Audition/interview.This has been way above and beyond anything we could expect from a trade school.

Pick this school if you have dreams of becoming a casino dealer! They have very flexible hours, including evenings. I trained patiently for 3 months, then unexpectedly got 2 job offers in the same week. I had an audition the day after Thanksgiving (Black Friday). The school was closed, but the owner met me one on one that day to give me last minute practice. He didnt need to, but he went out of his way to help me suceed. Im really thankful for choosing this school.

I attended CEG for several days and I got a job already on the strip as a dealer. There are several instructors at school. Everyone is amazing. The owner, Alex is knowledgeable and has a lof of connections in Las Vegas. He is not only focusing on teaching, but also put you in a casino. I got a great deals on three games for $500. It is so worth it.

I went here because I saw some good reviews about this school, but when I got there, there were 4 students just, what seemed like, were playing around with the Instructor. Did not appear to have any structure, and the facility was pretty dilapidated. After I left, the next day I went to a few casinos, and none of them recommended this school, and some said they never heard of CEG.This is a big move for me, and I need to make sure that I am making the right move and investment for my future. I dont think I would even feel safe parking my car here because I saw some pretty scary looking individuals right outside the door when I walked in.Just did not work for me.After some more research, I located just the right pace that I am currently attending, and extremely happy with.

Moved to Vegas in June. Wanted to start a new career. Checked into the dealers schools and CEG seemed to have best reviews and prices. Alex runs an excellent school, helps you learn at your own pace, and has the best instructors to teach you the games. I would highly recommend CEG to everyone and anyone wanting to break in to the casino/dealing industry. I rang a number of schools before choosing CEG and I couldnt have been happier with my choice. The teachers are consistently hands on and giving every student attention/help. They make you feel very welcome and comfortable, there expertise definitely shows in there teaching techniques and procedures. There is no such thing as a silly question and they always make you feel welcome. After completing my 3 games to the industry standard I was advised on the application/hiring process and was successfully employed after only 1 week prior from graduating. Students that are now employed are always returning to school and its a very positive enviroment, definitely the best school in town!

CEG is a fantastic dealer school and I highly recommend it to anybody wanting to learn the profession. As a UNLV student I came to Las Vegas to study casino management, but unfortunately learning how to deal was not included in high tuition costs. I had been attending CEG once or twice a week (due to my busy schedule) for nine months and just recently landed my first dealer job. I know students who have attended every day and received a job after only two months. You get out of it what you put into it. You graduating and being put on the wall is you getting a job! I would often joke with Alex (the owner) and say that I am more likely to get a job through his school, than I am with my UNLV degree. However, keep in mind the job is not 100% guaranteed, a lot of it depends on you. CEG will teach you the skills, but they cannot pass the criminal background check or drug test for you.Last and probably most important, one of my favourite things about CEG dealer school would have to be the craps instructor Lisa. What a character she is! Aside from her being a great teacher, you can hear her critiquing other students from a mile away, and I promise you wont be able to help but laugh. Even if you have no interest in dealing, you should sign up just to hear what she has to say (just remember not to wear red).

I am 57 years old and I learned Blackjack, Roulette and Baccarat. CEG gave me a chance and didnt give up on me when none of the schools gave me a chance. There are so many teachers that believed in me and told me to not give up. I want to thank Alex the owner and all the teachers. They are so positive and friendly and I made so many friends. I passed an audition last week and got a job at the Gold Coast. Thank you very much I will never forget.

Alex and his mom are a wonderful, friendly, and patient teachers that pays attention to the needs of each of their students. Alex both teaches and runs CEG and he couldnt be a better person to learn from. Whatever game you need to learn, he or one of his many teachers can accommodate you; there is always someone available when you come in (when you choose to come in by the way, its an extremely flexible schedule).Since I started learning there, Alex has continually made improvements to the space and continues to do so. By the time I graduated (and got a job dealing at El Cortez) I didnt want to leave; it really starts to feel like a second home as you get to know the other students and everyone who keeps things running smooth.I really cant recommend this place enough, it has been an overwhelmingly positive experience and if youre looking to learn the industry, look no further.

I have yet to start going to this school and I plan to go as soon as possible. But Alexander is great. I started emailing him, (many questions in which I might of been annoying in my emails that I am not going to lie) and he responded within the same day if not the following day. He is very patient in his emails and I liked that alot and made me really want to attend this school for being a table dealer.When I got out of work early one day, I stopped by to check it out and he greeted me almost instantly while he was busy teaching students on the Blackjack table. He is very respectful and I got a vibe that he does actually care about his students and wants them to succeed in this career. I went around to multiple dealer schools before going here. At other schools, there is very little one on one time with an instructor, they are mainly there to provide the equipment for the games, and then let the students teach each other. Alex, the owner, teaches you each game well. He has worked at Wynn dealing every game, so, he understands what you need to know in order to be successful at a job. I went for 1.5 months, learned two games, and quickly got a job. He also works well with everybody, no matter the age.

In a widely competitive gaming industry city of Las Vegas, there are always a myriad of dealer schools in the vicinity fighting for turf and business. After carefully narrowing down my choice for the school to enroll in late last month, here are the reasons why I chose CEG Dealer School over the others:1) Quality of instruction. The owner Alex Kim comes down to your level no matter what your previous background or knowledge is on the game for instruction. He ensures you understand all the basics of game dealing and takes you step by step before moving on to the next stage. He also invites other former students who are mostly current dealers to come in to the school and help out in tutoring other students.2) Very low student-to-teacher ratio. At the time when I was researching dealer schools in the area, I was a bit turned off when I found a school (not CEG) vast amounts of students standing around waiting to play or learn to deal which seemed awkward and like a waste of time. You definitely dont get that at CEG Dealer School, and Alex will make sure you get hands-on with the game(s) you have signed up to learn to deal.3) Schedule flexibility. The school is open every day until 8PM during the week, and also open on most weekends including Sundays. Very accommodating especially for those who have present jobs and/or other daily priorities. All the students and instructors are very friendly and easy-going with each other. As a student, you are free to come in or leave anytime you want although (and its common sense) a simple phone call or text message would be much appreciated in times of emergency or long absence.As mentioned above, I enrolled in CEG Dealer School late February and came into class pretty much every day its open to learn and practice for 4-5 hours each day. Despite having no previous dealing experience, I was able to properly learn to deal in the 3 games I selected (blackjack, roulette, specialty games) in less than a month. Alex assisted me in landing interviews and auditions at a handful of local casinos. I am now offered a position in my last audition at a casino very close to my place which I will be moving forward with. I cant thank Alex enough for having me get to where I am, and of course even while employed as a dealer I will continue to come into the school to practice and teach others.

Amazing place to learn to deal all your casino games. If you put the time and effort in you will learn Everthing you need to know to get your first job. I have been going here for close to 3 months and am now working as a blackjack dealer full time.If you ask questions and work hard everyone will help you to succeed in any and every way they possibly can. All the teachers either are or have been dealers for many years and have passion for the job.If I have anything remotely bad to say about the school its just that it can be a little unstructured at times and you really kinda have to ask what you need to learn to get the ball rolling in the right direction. As long as your want to learn and bring up to your instructors hey Ive learned this this and this, what now? they will make sure youve really learned what you think youve learned and begin to teach you, and point you in the right direction. So if you dont know what to do, dont sit around and wait to be told, take the initiative and ask! :D

You will not find a guy as laid back, and simultaneously engaged and caring as Alex. He knows his dealing, he knows people, he doesnt accept poor work, but easily helps you achieve the best with practice. He is inviting, and gives you double the effort that you put in. His prices beat anything in town on top of it. Dont go anywhere else.

Attending CEG has been more than an amazing experience. Alex the owner is very hands on with all students and he always has multiple instructors available to guide you from the start till the time you land your first job! I personally chose craps, blackjack, and roulette. I have since graduated from the program and am currently working at the Gold Coast as a dice dealer. As a full time student here at UNLV, I was worried that I might not have enough time to study while attending CEG but regardless if you come in at 10 AM or 5 PM, Alex and his instructors are always prepared to help. All students and instructors are very nice and helpful and you truly start building a family like bond with others around you.

CEG is a great school to start a new career. An important aspect of CEG school is learning from staff that is knowledgeable from the gaming industry.
