DONT DO BUSINESS WITH CHIC STUDIOS!!!Im writing this review on behalf of my wife. She signed up for a course mid last year and due to covid, it kept getting delayed. By November it was pushed again (3rd time!) to February of 2021. My wife couldnt not wait any longer so we asked for a cancellation and a refund so we can try another makeup school.We filed as requested for the refund and were told it would take up to 45 business days and there would be a $200 non refundable fee, which was fine. Flash forward to mid January 2021 and we did not receive our refund. We reached out to Amy many times and were promised the refund before March. It is almost April. We are ready to take Chic Studios to small claims as they are unresponsive and only keeping telling lies about the refund.VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!

Ashley was so accommodating, especially with my last minute booking request. Ashley did my makeup and was excellent. She listened to what I wanted and adjusted accordingly. The finished product for me and my wedding party was just perfect! And the timing was perfect as well. I would recommend her to anyone!

I went in for the first time as a customer to get a cut and color. Amy the owner was beyond knowledgeable and definitely knows her stuff. I left with a beautiful cut and color that was simply perfect. She was patient and took the time to ensure I was getting the best advice. She was patient and great with her students who all clearly respect her. I will definitely be going back.

Coming from someone who’s been in the industry and around makeup for over half her life- Education is never a waste and CHIC is amazing. Invest in yourself.Chic is great! The 3 day course was very informative, not only with actual makeup but the business side of it as well. There was more than just one instructor too, so you get to learn different techniques to find what fits you best.Wether or not you do makeup already or it’s your first time, there is something here for everyone.

What a fantastic gem that not many people know about. Ive been going here for over a year and have always received a great hair cut. I just had an appointment with Vincent - who is great. Fredricks for teaching them so well.

Chic Studios is an excellent professional makeup school. The owner Amy, Chic staff and instructors are wonderful people to work with! They are all very knowledgeable (with many years in experience), friendly, and genuinely helpful when it comes to scheduling and teaching you how to master makeup techniques- ranging from airbrush makeup for bridal, TV/Film makeup, contour/highlighting, etc! In Chic Studios, not only would you get a plethora of makeup kits and many techniques to learn as a professional makeup artist, but also youd get frequent hands-on training, whether it be to practice your craft on models in the studio or go to events/shows to showcase what you learn in the classes. They even have business classes, so youd learn the ins-and-outs of the beauty industry, and you will know how to run your own business successfully! Everyone at Chic Studios really encourage you to get creative and expressive in your own style! Youd definitely get an outstanding professional makeup education here!

I just want to say it has been a pleasure attending the full-time course and what an amazing bunch of people this school has. Everyone is so talented and caring. I have enjoyed every minute of the course and would do it again in a heartbeat. I am quite sad to say goodbye to some phenomenal people that I have learned so much from.

In a short amount of time I’ve come across amazing people who are so willing to teach and help you excel in literally anything. Also, the studio itself is very pink and cozy- a girls dream! I absolutely love the different courses offered especially the Master course because it includes everything from Beauty Makeup 101 to Bridal to Airbrushing. I love Chic Studios LA. Ive gone to a couple of workshops and open houses and Ive always had a good experience. The instructors are super chill. I highly recommend attending one of their free workshops. Youll definitely learn a lot. Theyre always up to date with the latest makeup trends, so thats great.
