I had one of the most amazing experiences in this school, the teachers are all nice and they do provide you with all the basic resources that you need to keep going in this field.

I went here and after a couple of times was told I dont have the right to pick a student anymore by the vulture named Ivana she is the teacher, she then proceeded to assign two students that told me they had only been in the school for two weeks!! Would you want a students like this cutting, perming or coloring your hair with only 2 weeks training? The state cosmetology board rules and regulations state a student must have at least 160 hrs. before they are allowed to touch a client. The last time I went here I was assigned a student that abruptly anounced she had an appointment and left without even finishing leaving me in the chair!! I asked for my money back and left and came home and decided time to write a review of this school.

Update below.July Facebook post: I absolutely love my school!! It is never easy to change career paths but this school is extremely hands on and educational! After 3 months, (almost 3months) I am already feeling confident as a stylist taking on clients. Clients who are Friends that let me practice what I learned in the week, but happy clients at that! Mrs Jama is the sweetest lady ever. She is also very hands on and always willing to demo advance techniques usually with ethnic clients that you will not get at other schools. Mrs V is a highly advanced instructor/director who is teaching all classes!! We are extremely lucky to have her and her knowledge. We avidly attend classes outside of school, shows, and brand educators come to the school to teach lessons in specialty services and products. The salon is a very open professional salon setting. Im lucky to be one of the first students to watch this school grow. So many students are already beginning to attend, as well as night students. I attend day classes Monday-Friday, I love having those weekends off.Come in and join the family if this is the kind of environment you are seeking for in a school.Update: 5 months in and I am a senior level 3 student. I am taking on paying clients regularly. This school is very open to taking clients much like a real salon. Availability and flexibility is open. I have even had to burn the midnight oil taking on a client that wanted her base color lifted + highlights + cut. I definitely went in to night time schedule, but my instructors have a very realistic approach about how a salon really works. I was able to stay clocked in and finish my client to her satisfaction. Everyday here feels like a day in the salon and less like a student. I really like the idea of conditioning students to work in a professional salon. We are also encouraged to have our own artistic approach to hair/nails, of course after the basics and foundations are learned.5 new cosmo students began this week. And 2 new estheticians!! Our little school is growing, plus a new instructor Monica!!! She is so humble and another hands on instructor.I graduate March 20th and i feel about 70% reAdy for the state exam.

I really give it 1 star, but only because I want to ask what happened to this school? I am interested in classes and would like to know if it still exists or not? Or they are somewhere else, I say because its still on Google, if anyone knows anything, please inform me, thank you.
