Ian is a great instructor--very knowledgeable and easy-going. I can say the same for the fighters that train here--just a talented and friendly group. Great environment for learning and growing together as mixed martial artists. Ive been loving it here.

Highly recommended! Although I didnt end up becoming a regular due to some life circumstances, the trial week I spent at Fight Science MMA gym was a great experience.The instruction is top notch, as can be deduced by their having multiple professional fighters training out of their gym.Ian is the head instructor there and he is someone who is all about MMA and fighting in general. You would think someone like that would be a bit intimidating, but Ian is the opposite of what you would expect.He is welcoming, friendly, and even seemingly a bit nerdy (in a good way)! Since the gym is named Fight Science, it seems appropriate that the head instructor is more inclined to use not only his massive wealth of experience, but also his precise knowledge of science as it relates to fighting.They have everything one might need to become a professional MMA fighter, or just a butt-kicking hobbyist. Whether you aim to become one or the other, Fight Science is somewhere you can definitely expect to meet your needs.

My daughter just started coming here and from the first day she began her classes she felt welcomed. Not just her but my husband and myself did too. Theyre very attentive, she is so happy to be back learning mma

I was damn good looking before i started training but now Its getting ridiculous. Joking aside I really lost 20 pounds in 2 months coming here. Its a fantastic community that feels like a family environment. If you are looking to take yourself to the next level, Fight Science is the place to do it.

Really nice facility. Great location. Very knowledgeable with a family environment. They even have an all womens BJJ class and open mat on Sunday.

There have only been a select few of spectacular duos in human history. Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, Mike Tyson and Cus Damato, Bonnie and Clyde, Method Man and Redman and last but not least the Mad Scientist and Julian. Joking aside, i moved to LA in 2009 not knowing anyone and never trained before. These two both took me in and became mentors, friends and family. They changed my life and when they werent around to be around it never was as good. They truly know what that are talking about but have 0 ego. They truly care about everyone they meet in a exceptional manner that is rare, especially in LA. If you want to get in shape and actually learn how to protect yourself--All while growing as a human being-- this is where you need to be. Check your ego at the door and you will learn unbelievable technique and humility
