My son is enjoying the Lil Dragons class. Its age appropriate and a great mix of fun with actual skill. I like that each class has a set lesson (i.e. balance, team work, discipline, memory, etc) and theres even an informative paper that goes home. My son loves it because he gets a sticker for his belt and a badge for his uniform. Theres a clear format for the class and I like how easy it is for kids to keep track of working towards goals (every 12 classes/sticker, you move up in belt rank).I recommend this program to everyone who asks (and some who dont!).

My son Benny has been attending the Little Dragon Class for more than a year and he is already a Brown Belt! We can not be happier and prouder of him and also so so grateful of the great team at Marina Martial Arts for such wonderful experience. The classes are so fun and engaging and the added value in regards of each week life value like teamwork, discipline, focus, respect, etc. makes this activity a must. The school it perfectly organized and very very profesional. During Covid the Jones Family, the owners, went above and beyond with all measures to keep the kids safe. My son has 7 extracurricular activities each week Id say this is the one he looks forward to the most. Marina Martial Arts really is worth every single penny.

This school is phenomenal! The teachers are firm with the children but are incredible and the kids absolutely love them! Their courses are well thought out and structured in a way to get children, of all ages, excited for doing martial arts. My son has been coming here since age 4 (he is now 8) and I cannot recommend them enough!

I love this studio. My family have been training here for over 3 years! I needed a place to get in shape that was goal oriented and motivating (I hate the gym!) and found it! My son (age 9) is working on his black belt in the Junior program and my youngest (6) did the Lil Dragons program when he was 4 and I highly recommend it for little kids!!

We have been attending classes at Marina Martial Arts for over two years. My oldest started in the Little Dragons class and has now moved up to the next level. My youngest has just begun the little dragons class and is loving it. Both kids have gained many skills and learned valuable life lessons in these classes. Mr. Jones, Mrs. Jones and Mr. Dyer are extremely patient, supportive, encouraging and experts at what they do. You will love it here, just has much as my family loves it.

Marina Martial Arts is a fabulous environment for our children to grow and find inner discipline. My son is six and he has grown so much just in the passed few months of training here. I highly recommend Marina Martial Arts. Our family found Marina Martial Arts in 1999 when our son decided that he wanted to take karate classes. Since that time, our younger son joined the club and both my wife and I joined the adults classes. Jake, Sam and I are all Black Belts and Nancy is a Red Belt. It is great to have an activity that are entire family can share.Before joining Marina Martial Arts we interviewed many schools. We found Marina Martial Arts appealing because the school is focused on creating a lifetime sport and developing good habits. Baseball and football are fine for children when they are in grammar school and high school, but they are not lifetime activities. Our family has enjoyed Karate together for the past 15 years and we are still going strong.Marina Martial Arts is much more than a karate club, it is a family. There are many team building activities including an Annual Picnic, a Holiday Show, the Black Belt Demonstration Team and the Saturday Physical Fitness Class.If you are looking for a club for your child or a club for you to improve your physical health while learning a lifetime art, I highly recommend that you visit Marina Martial Arts. Just remember every Black Belt is just a White Belt who did not give up.

My daughters have been attending marina martial arts for the last 2.5 years. We have noticed many positive behavioral changes. Confidence, obedience, and responsibility have all improved.

I started studying at Marina Tae Kwon Do in the Tiny Tigers (now lil dragons) program when I was six and loved it. While my experiences studying Tae Kwon Do have changed dramatically since my early beginnings, my love for martial arts as well as the community created by the school has not. As I grew up learning Tae Kwon Do, I was taught important values of discipline and keeping a clear mind. The head master, Master Keith Jones, is a wonderful instructor and does an excellent job of running the studio in tip top shape. All in all, I could not be happier with my experiences at Marina Tae Kwon Do.

Our son has been going to Marina Martial Arts for almost 2 years now. He just adores the school and is always so excited to get his new belt. The instructors are very patient and great with the kids. We feel fortunate to have found such an excellent place for our son to learn martial arts.

Weve been clients of Marina Tae Kwon Do for about 4 years. Its clean, organized and professionally run. They dont do tournaments so the teaching is in fact geared towards building self confidence, discipline and learning to set and reach a goal. The teachers are all graduates of the program and they show real dedication to and a caring for their students. MTKD gets my highest recommendation.

Our 6 year old son started 3 months ago and has enjoyed every moment of his experience as a Marina Martial Artist. I love Marina Martial Arts. My whole family (we are ages 4-37) comes here for tae Kwon do and kickboxing and I recommend it to anyone looking for martial arts training or a great kickboxing fitness class.The whole staff is so friendly and knowledgeable. I love that it is a small family-owned and operated business. You can tell they definitely care about all of their students and they are a big contributor to the community and community events.

This family run business is a great place for students interested in Taekwondo. They provide great classes with wonderful instructors. In addition to the physical training they have a code of conduct that extends to home and school. Our daughter has gained confidence and resiliency and made a few friends along the way.

I have been a customer of Marina TKD for 13 years now. My son who is now 18 yo started when he was 5 and achieved his black belt and my 10 yo daughter has been going since she was 5 yo also. Marina TKD trainers have helped my children throughout the years not only learn about the martial arts but also about social skills and self discipline.
