My visit for dental treatment was very organized in light of the COVID-19. I have been going for years and really enjoy the services I receive from the student dentist.

Wonderful to see that the School is taking quite a few precautions to keep the public, staff and students as safe as possible.

Appointment at Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry USC for cleaning. COVID-19 precautions awesome job being done. Escorts aka Runners patients arent allowed to touch elevator buttons 👍restrooms are cleaned n sanitized. There were hand sanitizer stations throughout the clinic previously, even more so now. Main entrance for entering clinic n side door for patients to exit. Very happy n pleased with the precautionary measures. Feel extremely safe having my 😁work resume.

If you refuse to purchase the floss and toothpaste from them you will be refused medical attention

Special the front desk They dont know what are they doing they dont know how to check patient insurance ...i have a PPO insurance and USC Except my insurance but front desk dont know how to check even thou i called to my insurance company and i Handed out to her to talk with them that they can provide to her Whatever information she need But she rejected she let me i talk with my insurance and get the whatever she want and at the end said oh i cant fine your information and just pay cash now and we will Reimburse you when we Bill to your insurance ..they did Twice same think with me and i have been more than 6 month asking them to refund my money back they said oh all Your money went To word your deductible Because your insurance didnt pay I asked her whats the diagnosis or the CPT you use that they Rejected.. she said Consultation and i said ..for 2 times you used same cpt and DX thats why my insurance dosent pay!!! she said oh I will let my Manager contact you because Im working from home I dont have too much information And I said how long will take that 6 months mkor. And Im still waiting for call back from them

In 2015, I had a very infected root canal. I believe the dentists said pulpitis? I was in immense pain and they took me in the very next day. The one who performed the procedure was very kind and made sure I was in no pain. I had to go back the week after since the root canal wasnt finished. Overall, they saved my tooth while being so kind and gentle and they worked FAST to stop the pain. LOVE THEM.

Administrators, I was directed by my dentist to make an appointment for my infected root canal, I spoke to a lady she said her name was Belinda, she had me on hold for 25 to 30 minutes, finally got back on the phone and told me to call back in an hour because it was peaked time. She was very unprofessional and told me I needed to have more patience. I am a very patient person. Very unprofessional. Please administrators review your employees. Prepare to have a crushing debt that you can never pay back if you decide to go here. They should be ashamed of themselves for exploiting others. Who sets your tuition rates? One of their students owes over a million dollars because he made the mistake of going there.

Horrible. I went in for a root canal about a month ago with Dr. Christopher Olsen. My continuing appointment kept getting rescheduled and I had severe pain in the tooth that had the treatment done. The pain was unbearable and I decided to get a second opinion at another dental office only to find out that a piece from one of the instruments that was used had broken off inside my tooth! Since I kept getting rescheduled by Dr. Olsen I decided to have another dentist at the same location, USC School of Dentistry, take my case over. He had also called, whom I believe was his supervisor, to look at my x-rays and neither of them mentioned the instrument that was stuck. I understand theyre students but at least be honest with the patients. So now my gum is swollen and throbbing. When I mentioned the instrument stuck they were nervous and werent able to explain what exactly could be done to remove it. I told them that Id rather pay more and go to a professional and pretty much they said fine because they knew they made an error they cant fix.Dont let this happen to you! I will continue to travel out of the country to get my dental needs met. Bad experience here!

Wonderful school. My baby cousin will be graduating next year. She will be a Dentist. I go here to have my teeth done and she is remarkable and really loves what she does. George Lucas Studios is across the street and it is fantastic. I really benefit from the services I get from the Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC. Good place to get a cleaning other than that they are very amateur they are basically high school kids in training and they do not work with a work schedule if you do happen to work. They will take forever to get work done. And have you visit more times than normal.

This clinic is like a bank or insurance company, so the doctors there are trained to become your best friends. However, this friendship lasts only if you have a minor easy issue, not some complicated dental problems. I went to my student doctor (then to his successor) for about one year, for every single appointment, like a soldier. However, after one year I still have not finished my treatments to have an implants done (main reason why I was there). I have a couple of cavities untreated either. Two crowns my doctor did - a girl from San Diego named Natalia - failed. I lost one tooth completely, another crown started to chip. Both happened within two-three weeks after the crowns were installed instead of the old ones. Its already three weeks I have been waiting for an appointment. Today she texted me that she is only obliged to see me once per month, and she was very nice in the past to bring me more often than that. No promise to correct her work with chipped crown.Another terrible experience I had in their surgery department where I was treated by three totally inexperienced students, who tried to pull out my teeth. It was a nightmare until the professor intervened.I wish Id never been in this clinic. For these people were just guinea pigs.

I cant say if their service is good or not since no one will answer the telephone. I am now looking into going to another low cost dental clinic. I have a cracked tooth that will most likely have to be extracted. I also sent an e-mail requesting information on how the referral process works in the event I need additional dental work. No reply to that request for information either.

Everyone is so helpful and pleasant. You can feel the positive energy when you come here. There is always laughter and everyone is always friendly.

Attention! Administration, your employees need to be reviewed, the employees are very rude and unprofessional, Ive never in my entire life experienced such rudeness. I called numerous times, been on hold for 45 minutes. Ive been calling all week to make an appointment for an infected root canal. Yes I believe this USC dental school could be very busy, but there is no reason for the employees to be extremely rude and unprofessional. USC dental school should be the best around! Administrators please review your employees. USC school of dentistry is a 1* star dental school.

They make you feel very comfortable once you get in there. It is a waite but its worth it They do beautiful work no joke.

My dentist referred me to USC to get my wisdom teeth out. The soonest they had was two months later, so ok I made it. I called on a Friday because my appointment was on Monday to make sure the time, they told me 10:30, when I got there the lady at oral surgery told me my appointment was at 10. So I probably had to wait until around 1 or 2 because I “missed” my appointment. These are the type of Receptionist you can’t argue with because you will only make it worse for yourself because they are so damn rude. Anyways she wound up telling me I won’t even get my teeth extracted that it’s a just a consultation! After 2 months? When I was told the oral surgeon was there?! Why would I just get a consultation? I was so mad! So I just left. Her name was Sandra, the other one with her was rude too, I should of talked to someone else , I probably would have had them out if I spoke up.

Had dental work done there; awesome!! Throughout the years, Ive encountered others who have had dental work done at USC & each one was some of the best dental work I have ever seen; durable too!!! Want more, but I live in Las Vegas now!!!

Waited 3 months for the next available oral surgery appointment. When I finally get to my appointment for the first time, 15mins early also. I had to wait over an hour to be seen because the person ahead was late. I think that is terrible service to start with! Plus they dont over free parking, so Im paying for this delay as well!

I assisted there twice for a friend of mine who was there to take her exam. Nice school. but they never have availability. I went to a near by dentist summer smile dental and their rates were just as good and no waiting time to see the USC graduate dentist.

This is the DMV of dentistry. Even with an appointment, expect to wait most of the day. And get there early, lines are out the door by 1pm. Even the dentist who (eventually) served me remarked himself that their system is a mess. For $70 exam+x-ray, you get what you pay for.

I have no experience with the ckinic.. but seems to me these dentist are rude, at best..as my late grandma was famous for saying several times over her lifetime.. if rudesness is there best quality, then shed just give a look most ppl understood..Im sorry, but the answers on this page seem rude too..These students need to consider different field of work if this is how they plan to treat ppl.. but, again what do I know.. Im only a redneck from Michigan..These dentist also (IMO) should have any degree they will receive revoked..

If you’re in pain the only quick remedy they offer is an extraction. I was in pain and needed a root canal. I called about 4 private practices and the price here was about 300 cheaper. I had to wait all day but i got it done the day i walked in here and and the pain went away. The follow up appt was set for their next availability which was about 2 months away. Overall the service is great for the price!! I’ve been coming here for my medical emergencies for about 10 yrs and have never had a bad service.

Customer service is very important, it set potential patient at ease, that wasnt the case with this place from the very beginning I was transferred from one department to another only to run into the most rude and unprofessional people Ive ever had the experience of speaking to, Sandra and her rude sidekick, these two are a disgrace to this prestige school.

I pay my premiums, but I cant see a dentist. The office manager strolls in to work at anytime in the morning and is completely rude. I am frustrated and need dental care.
