I made an appointment today 07/14/2020 with Ms. Destiny! She is a wonderfully patient sweet young lady. She shaped up my hair and when it came to a point where she needed more guidance, she went and got her teacher/mentor/manager to train and coach her through the rest of my shape up. So, thank you both for taking care of me; thank you both for putting up with me. I am looking forward to being a client of Destiny’s again because she is a beautiful young lady—inside and out!

Very comfortable clean place. Rachel Miles did a partial highlight and trim on me and done a wonderful job. She walked through what i wanted and advised with the teacher before hand. The teacher was very informational, nice and checked on Rachel every step of the way. This will be my go to place from now on. You cannot beat the prices. As a mtter of fact i am going back for a facial and makeup next month. 😁

I am currently an esthetician student, and love coming to class. I knew this is what I wanted to do as soon as I came to class the first day. The instructors make sure that we understand and teach us in ways each individual can understand. Pjs is a perfect example of what a cosmetology school should be. I’ve never felt more confident in what I wanna do in life. If you’re into any of the programs here, it’s well worth it.

I would not recommend this school for the Aesthetics program. It was not consistent with the rules and how they taught. Teachers were knowledgeable but didnt know how to teach at times or were too busy sometimes. I had to teach myself some of the chapters when they were skipped or just forgotten. It was a very dramatic school with some students who disrespected not only each other but the teachers as well and nothing was done about it. There was too much boy talk and not enough school talk. The passing rate for the written exam at state boards is low but the practical part is higher coming from this school. You have to be a self-taught learner to achieve your goals of learning the Aesthetics program.

My wife and I have both had facials done and had nothing but pleasant experiences. They do and amazing job and have very friendly staff!

I am a student at PJs. If youre looking for a cosmetology, aesthetics, or nail program I recommend you spend the day at the school. I did this when I was looking for a cosmetology school to attend. The small class size and one on one is what made me choose them. The instructors are always helpful. Their main focus is for you to succeed at their school and in your career. They use Pivot Point teaching method which has made learning much easier. Enrollment was easy as they helped me thru it. If youre looking for a school, check them out, you wont regret it.

My experience at PJs has been wonderful. I am so glad I came to this school. I didnt know much about PJs when it was first recommended to me. It wasnt until I began speaking with professionals in the industry that I realized what a great reputation PJs holds. The educators and staff truly care about and want their students to succeed.They are always willing to share their vast experience and extensive knowledge with you.There is a low student-teacher ratio which provides a much more personalized experience. It is a family-like atmosphere. I will be graduating soon and I feel like the staff at PJs has prepared me well for any avenue I may pursue in this field. I am excited about my new career choice and would like to thank PJs College of Cosmetology (and Esthetics) for everything. I have learned so much from you. Thank you. I will miss you!!

I went to take a tour and was sat down in a room, the person who was supposed to give the tour wrote the curriculum on a piece of copy paper instead of handing a brochure. I also didnt get to take a tour. I told her that I wanted to go to New York fashion week one day and do hair because she asked what I wanted to do. I was told that they probably wont be able to help me with that but I could go work at highland somewhere. Overall this experience was very unprofessional and I will never recommend that anybody come here to go to school or to get a service done.

Pjs gives me a reason to look forward to getting up every morning. Its given me the enthusiasum to try knew things and to succeed while doing them. My instructors are great and the other students are like syblings i wish i had lol. Come see for ur self how awsome it is
