Teachers and staff push their political agendas, beliefs and values onto the kids here. The dont really care and look out for their students. My child hates playing on the playground because she gets bullied however the staff has done nothing to stop this from happening anymore. They also need more time to allow kids to be kids, get energy out and play so they can be more focused in the classrooms. The classrooms are chaos at this school and some of the teachers do not handle kids energy very well making kids get in trouble a lot and making those kids feel bad about being kids.

Our kids started at Canyon the day it opened. Great sense of community. Positive teachers, Fabulous librarian. We have had all positive experiences with the school. The only negative, I would highly advise not letting any child be in ALP. The teacher is horrible, abrasive, and should be working in a high school setting. She does not belong with children. After four years of suffering through with her, I would never do it again! save the self esteem of your children, do not at any cost let them in that class. Its horrible!

This the most wonderful school ever really nice and kind teachers and super organized and fun I went there for 3 years and it is the best school ever.

I went here for elementary 3-6 grade and I liked everything about it in those grades but in seventh grade I realized I should have went to another school because their teaching level isnt really good for your education and the ALP teacher shouldnt be a elementary teacher.

I have several friends whos kids attended school at Canyon Rim. They all have nothing but positive thing to say about the school, the community it is located in is awesome.
