An amazing atmosphere that makes you feel like you are strolling around the streets of Italy with most items at decent prices. Very strongly recommend visiting.Along with a large grocery store, they also have a pizzeria, bakery, cafe, gelato shop and a few restaurants at site. The grocery store very large collection of various Italian (and some general) household cooking ingredients such as imported fruits, vegetables, sauces, cheeses, olive oil, cured meats, spices, chocolates and possibly everything else you would require to make Italian dishes. The bakery had a really large collection of items that taste really good and look insanely good. The gelato store inside was also amazing with a good collection of gelato and vegan sorbets. The flavors were robust and texture was amazing. It was very well priced as you could get 4 scoops with a waffle cone for just $9.

He gave us really great suggestions and the food was amazing so fresh!! If you do decide to sit inside at the bar they actually make the pasta for you to see. Its also its also a grocery store which is really interesting! Our only issue was we had a reservation for 2:45 and we were made to wait another 15 minutes to get a table.

Eataly is truly a one stop shop for all things Italian cuisine related, including some restaurants, a cafe, and a huge market. Watch and learn how to make fresh homemade pasta, simply buy it fresh in the market ready to cook, or visit one of the restaurants and have their chefs expertly prepare it for you. Eataly has all you could dream of for preparing everything from the most humble of Italian meals to the most elegant. You could easily lose track of time while perusing the aisles of the market, or trying to find that perfect bottle of wine to pair with your meal from the Eataly Vino. If you love Italian cuisine then this is definitely a stop worth making.

What I love to do is buy things from here like an espresso maker instead of on Amazon, because on Amazon a lot of times you dont know if what youre getting is authentic, which is why I prefer getting these types of items at Eataly because I know it will be authentic. The decor is classic, elegant and cozy; the layout is easy to shop and wide-spaced.The staff was friendly and welcoming. Ate at Il Pesce and I have to say the staff there only cares about serving hispanics. The waitress who has star tattoos behind her ear was especially rude. She made my group and I show vaccine card even tho we were checked before being seated. She didnt ask anyone else but my table. She only favored the hispanics. Asked her about specials and she seemed bothered that we asked a question. Then she never brought bread to our table. I went back to see if maybe Id gone on an off-day previously. The produce was being worked by at least three people, though it was still conventional and organic distribution product. If there were farm direct options, they werent highlighted. The service was still below average. There was still no acknowledgement or offer of help, even when I stood between two major displays and looked indecisive. After a few minutes I asked a team member to talk about their section. They were knowledgeable, but showed little passion or enthusiasm and didnt really come off as engaging or inviting. In conclusion, though the health of the product was better and the person was knowledgeable, the service and overall experience didnt seem worth the expense.I may try one more time in a month, just to be sure.Previous visit:So, because not one staff member greeted or engaged me while I made two laps through the store, I cant say whether the grocery, meat, seafood, wine, or cheese items were of any particular quality.I am very familiar with produce and found the items more geared toward photography than quality. Conventional fruits and vegetables were all over the department, the signs didnt list the town where the product was grown on US items, and a couple items needed rotation/culling. Again, if there had been any service, there might have been a chance to explain some of the offerings.Im giving the third star for the lights, cleanliness, and the music, which were inviting.

To start I have been to Eataly in Los Angeles before and I have to say that this location is no different. The only real difference I could feel was that the space was smaller which is fair given that it is in New York City and also that it is very crowded. The restaurants and the dining area were very crowded and even the servers had difficulty passing through to get to all the tables. Eataly here is only a single floor whereas the one in LA has multiple. I’m not sure if this location has more food selections but still a nice variety of food you can shop for.

Overrated much? I think so. I enjoy the concept of an inside Italian market but I didn’t particularly enjoy the food itself. It’s super crowded and the wait times are lengthy. The charcuterie wasn’t bad we had a burrata and a sizable sampler for our party. The pizza, however, was disappointing. It lacked taste, the toppings slid off the dough and was so thin you couldn’t enjoy the taste. The house red wine was decent. It’s New York, find a better dinner spot but still checkout the market that is Eataly.
