My husband and I booked a lion dance from here for our wedding less than a week ago. They were fantastic! People kept telling us during and after our wedding that they would never forget our wedding because of the lion dance. We worked with Warren, who was very patient and easy to work. He answered our questions immediately over email, then we met him to choose the lion heads that we wanted. The dancers got to the venue in midtown early and were ready when called. We got the regular wedding package, and Im glad we didnt get the benches because the dancers would have hit their heads on the chandeliers (thats how high they were going). They were a surprise for our guests and they definitely amped up the energy! You can choose how long you want the dance to go for - we chose 13 minutes or so, and if I were to do it again I would opt for 8-10.

We found Warren and his team as a result of them performing at my wifes cousins wedding in Long Island about a month ago. The performance was great, and my wifes mom literally chased the lion dancers down after their show to get their information.I just had my reception/banquet at Mudan Celebration Center in Flushing, and these guys were incredible! Everyone was amazed, and the kiddies were loving it. My non-Chinese (and Chinese too) guests havent stopped talking about the performance since. As another reviewer voiced, they were on time and patiently waited outside as our reception was also running late and pretty much bum rushed and surprised us all with their colorful pink and red lion costumes and drum team. Only a few people, including my wife, knew about them coming, and she was still surprised!Making the reservation was easy, and Warren provided information in a timely fashion. All details were taken care of -- my only complaint is that one scroll was suppose to be in English and both displayed were in Chinese, but it didnt make a difference to anyone. This team literally made the night memorable for all.

These guys were awesome. I cant recommend them enough. It was a pleasure working with Warren, who was professional, courteous, and highly responsive to all of my emails. WCMHG offers a number of different performances, depending on the occasion, and can weave in additional acrobatics if youre willing to pay a little more. Their selection of lion costumes is second to none. In fact, Warren sent me a catalogue of costumes to choose from. On the day of the event, the performers arrived at our venue in NJ on time and were dressed and ready to go when announced. Our guests were blown away when the lions hit the floor with their flashing eyes and wiggling bums moving in step with the resounding drums. Half of our guests had never seen a lion dance performance before and couldnt stop gushing about it afterwards. One such guest made us promise not to tell his wife that he thought our wedding, especially the lion dancers, was even better than his own. The other half of the guests had seen lion dances before, yet were still impressed with the quality of the costumes and the talent of the dancers and percussionists. Several have since requested their contact information for future events. All in all, even though it was a bit pricey, hiring these guys as a special treat for our guests was totally worth it. Their performance was unique, memorable, and beats out a wedding photo booth any day!

If you want the Absolute Best Lion Dancer in New York and I would go as far as to say one of the Elites in the U.S, this is the team that can rightfully claim and hold that title. They also teach and perform Hung Style Gung Fu both empty hands and weapons, perform the Unicorn and Dragon dances (The largest Dragon in the east coast is owned by them and featured in some movies-The Sorcerers Apprentice, etc)All in all, a well rounded traditional Kung Fu/Lion Dance troupe and they travel (if needed).
