For the past several weeks I have had the privilege of training with my step son at the Viera Academy. It has been an immensely rewarding experience and has transformed our relationship beyond step father and step son. Even though we have lived together for several years. I am a second degree black belt and instructor in Aikido as well as a brown belt in Uechi Ryu Karate. I also train with Professor Vieira in BJJ. I have seen many kids programs for martial arts throughout the different styles. I have been very impressed with Professor Thadeu Vieiras teaching. He is concerned with each childs development both on and off the mat. He has an amazing ability to get the best out of each child helping them to become more confident in their own ability. The quality of his teaching is evident in the incredible success his kids teams have had in competition.
