Master Kim is not only a professional in his field, but a wonderful teacher and role model. As a teacher myself, I can see how well he engages, builds relationships, and redirects children during his classes. He is always present, encouraging, and really really fun. Master Kim incorporates social skill building, self-management techniques, and listening skills into every lesson. His assistant teachers are always professional and respectable. I would recommend Master Kims school to anyone looking for a great activity for kids to learn Taekwondo and life and social skills.

I can’t say enough about how much I love Master Kim’s World Class TaeKwonDo. I absolutely love it. I signed myself and my family up a little over a year ago, and could not be having a better experience. Master Kim is an amazing instructor- He is great about making his classes challenging, but also really fun! He is also great with the kids. My two boys, ages 6 and 8 are getting more disciplined and focused, and I feel it’s really translating well into their every day lives. As for myself and my wife, over the past year we have seen a lot of progress. There is noticeable improvement in our performance, we are getting more flexible, getting more power out of our kicks, overall we both feel more fit than we have in a while. It has been great getting to do TKD as a family. I was maybe a little worried at first about how it would work doing classes with my kids, because as much as I wanted to do this as a fun activity with my family, I also wanted to take it really seriously. I want to do my best, give it my all. And my concern was that doing it with my kids might slow me down or stifle my progress in one form or another. This has however not been the case at all! Master Kim does a great job of pushing everyone in the class to the best of their abilities regardless of age. He strikes a great balance teaching classes that have both kids and adults.Also, having signed up in January 2020, before COVID-19 hit, I can say that having online Zoom classes with Master Kim kept us sane during the pandemic! It was great being able to continue with TKD even when we weren’t able to go to the Dojang - or do pretty much anything else for that matter. I greatly appreciate the safety steps that Master Kim has taken throughout the whole pandemic.Overall I love martial arts. I took several years of Karate, when I was younger and have taken classes in several other forms including Chuong Nhu, and Judo, and can say that I have never received better training. Master Kim is the real deal and I am happy to be a part of this school.

My 8 year old son takes taekwondo at Master Kims Taekwondo and absolutely loves it. He has been able to test and get new belts and participated in the competition team as well. Master Kim and his team work well with the kids and make it a fun environment for all. Very professional and clean environment.Highly recommend for everyone.

Master Kims dojang is truly excellent. High quality training for kids, youth and adults at any experience level. He has a gift for working with children and youth that brings out the best in them. His students receive not only excellent martial arts skills, but also outstanding character formation. His training builds confidence, responsibility, mindfulness and self-control.

I love how the school instills discipline and self-confidence in my daughter. Master Kim is great with kids and so are the the other teachers. This is a great place where my daughter can learn life skills to help her be successful in life. My daughter loves this place and we’ll for sure enroll our son once he’s ready.

Cannot recommend Master Kim’s enough. They really engage my son and I have noticed increased confidence and concentration in him outside of class. Master Kim is great to work with and we have been very happy with our experience this year.

Master Kim is great with children and is meant to be in the work with youth! His patience and understanding of kids in class helps keep the whole class together and focused. He provides a variation of strength, focus, and skill concepts in each and every class. He finds creative ways to use students as examples for their peers as they learn their Taekwondo skills and gives encouraging feedback to each student to never give up. Most importantly he gets the kids to respond, makes them laugh, and makes them work all in the same session! Master Kim has support staff during class which allows breakouts to practice in smaller groups as well as personalized attention throughout the whole class. He will call your child by name, no matter how big the class. Master Kims Taekwondo studio is a great place to be and I highly recommend enrollment for any parent looking for a physical and mental activity for their children.

Excellent TKD program , my 5 year old grandson loves it

I have been going here a few months and its clear Master Kim cares about his students. He keeps the environment fun and he encourages his students to try harder which sets a positive tone for the class. I would recommend his class for children and older adult students.

My sons enjoy going to taekwando class. They get to meet new friends and learn how to defend themselves in case anything happens to them. We love Master Kim’s classes.

This is the best TaeKwonDo class. My son loves Master Kim, and he learns TaeKwonDo from little tiger until now. It almost learn for 4 years, now he is black belt.

Master Kim deserves all the medals! My 4.5 year old has a hard time listening and we have tried everything. Master Kim is patient and extremely positive. My son looks forward to every class and is learning so much about body focus and listening. We are a work in progress with my son but I am so glad we chose to join the Master Kim Tae Kwon Do and cannot wait to see what else comes of our classes.

We love Master Kims! Master Kim is patient and kind with the kids and funny too! He keeps them motivated and focused while keeping the class fun. It is pricey, but worth it for us. Even after a year, my son is still always excited to go to class (unlike previous sports practices) and that says a lot! There is a lot of individual attention and a nice variety of class times.

The one negative review critiques the high level black belts at this school. Interesting, since no student here has been awarded a black belt since the school has been in business. Estimate a minimum of three to five years to reach black belt. My son loves it here! He is getting exercise indoors, which is great for someone with asthma. Gifted, patient, and always positive/affirming instruction. My son is making steady progress, and also learning confidence and respect. Im looking forward to lessons myself when we can afford them. It is well worth the commitment of significant time and money which is entailed in the program. Master Kim is an expert AND a gifted roll model with the heart of a teacher who genuinely loves his students.

Fantastic place. We went from one kid taking a trial to four of us taking classes, including my old self. Im at my goal weight & doing things I didnt think my body was capable of, the kids are physically active & learning leadership skills, and its genuinely a lot of fun. Master Kim is of course a TKD master but is also a fantastic pure teacher, so much more than just a martial arts instructor. Highly recommended.

My daughter has been going to Master Kim’s for nearly 2 years now. I cannot convey my gratitude for the confidence Master Kim and his staff has given her. She started in their Little Tigers program and graduated into the children’s program before she was 5 years old. Our 4 1/2 year attends classes twice per week. Master Kim is clearly a gifted and practiced martial artist, but more importantly, has the gift of communication with children. He both commands and earns respect in a non-aggressive manner. I am also happy that my son experiences one on one teaching with an average of two assistant teachers per class.

Our son has attended Master Kims classes for the last year. Weve tried many sports with him and Tae Kwon Do has by far been the most successful at keeping him focused and engaged. My almost 10 year old has been a student of Master Kim since he opened in April. My son has ADHD and has trouble focusing. He enjoys Taekwondo with Master Kim and Mr. Carney so much. - From a former studentIf you are looking for real martial arts, do NOT go here! I have been attending this school for about six months now and I can tell you that this school is a scam. Real Tae Kwon Do focuses on philosophy, stretching, fitness, self-defense, sparring, and discipline. This school focuses on sparring and ONLY sparring, and shows no efforts to teach anything else that I have mentioned. The sparring is useless anyway, as we never went to any tournaments or competitions, and sparring cant help you when youre in danger. Workouts dont work and dont push you hard enough. My classes were twice a week, and I dont feel like anything has changed since I started. Belt testings are effortless. They dont even TEST you on what you have learned. He doesnt even care whether you perform them well or not, it only matters if you remember them, and if you forget something, he walks you through your requirements, which makes belt gradings practically meaningless. He also holds them every two or three months, which means you earn a black belt within a year. This is yet another sign that this school is fake. Black belts at REAL schools are earned after years of training. The average is eight years and at minimum four. I have seen the high/black belts at this school, and they are equivalent to a white belt. Self-defense will not help you at all, as they are only treated as requirements and not important skills. The poor kids at this school will have no idea what to do when someone attacks them or when they are in a tough situation. This school is a LIE and only wants you to EARN MONEY. It treats martial arts like a business and doesnt care about what you get out of this, other than the fact that they can earn money out of you. DONT PICK THIS SCHOOL! DONT MAKE MY SAME MISTAKE AND SUPPORT THIS SCAM!Edit: I can tell you that my response is indeed a valid one. I have been a former student at this school but I choose not to reveal any information about myself to protect my privacy. There is a term that comes up in the martial arts community: McDojo. A McDojo (sometimes called a McDojang) is a term used to describe a school or a martial arts gym that is used more for earning money instead of providing actual assistance in martial arts training. I will mention a few traits of a McDojo. First of all, the masters of the school will try to lock you into the school with a contract. Since I have attended this school in the past, I know that there is a long-term contract that comes with the school. There is also a short-term trial that lasts about six months, but afterwards, you are forced to switch to the long-term contract, so either way you will be LOCKED IN with the school. This is a tactic that McDojos use to make sure that their students always come back, so they can continue to MAKE MONEY. Another method of attraction that McDojos use are their easy and quick belt progressions. I have mentioned this in my previous response, but it is one of the easiest ways to tell if the school is a scam. There are plenty more ways that McDojo can manipulate it students into earning profit, but mentioning those here would make this review twice as long. McDojos treat martial arts like a business and their students like customers. This school is one of them. However, this is an arguement that I cant win for you. YOU, the PEOPLE need to judge the validity of this school for yourselves. Please, do research on what a McDojo is and about the schools that youre willing to attend. Take a trial class or two to see how the school really is. It really makes me sad that people decide to take something like martial arts and turn it into a business for profit. I am also doing this to prevent people from GETTING HURT by using faulty martial art techniques. This is the last time that I am going to edit my response, so please, dont support this scam. I dont want you to get cheated like I did.

At Master Kims World Class Tae Kwon Do your children will receive a fun and healthy place to be. My son Declan has been with Master Kim since spring of 2017. He started in little tigers and now has moved up to regular belts. He started his program with a lot of focus and attention issues. However being with Master Kim my son has learned respect, focus and how to shoot for goals. So thankful that we have been involved with this great program.

Master Kim is amazing with motivating and keeping his students focussed. My son loves his classes, gets great exercise, and always leaves the class feeling accomplished and confident.
