Thanks to Karens excellent teaching, I passed my Florida Real Estate Exam on the first try. I had first found and watched Karens YouTube videos on Florida real estate math. I liked her teaching style, and decided for myself that if I attended the classes in person that I could ask questions and learn better than if I took online classes. Once I decided for sure to register at Demetree School of Real Estate, I was delighted to confirm that Karen was my actual instructor and not some other delegated teacher.Karen has a teaching style that includes stories and humor that helps you remember what you actually need to know for the state exam. She also teaches the math in a way that makes sure everyone is getting it. After the first couple classes, I was a bit worried that the material might be overwhelming and difficult, but Karen assured me that the class pacing is going as planned. When I added more time reading the book at home and practicing the math, it got easier. I then became more confident that I would pass the state exam. It really worked.Here are my tips for what worked for me:Follow Karens advice to file your Florida license application and get finger printed promptly after the classes start, this way you can be approved to schedule your exam with a date closer to after the classes are completed. Take the classes in person so you can ask questions in class. Thoroughly study the book at home. Do all the end of chapter questions as you go, you learn from the practice questions too. Read all the chapter summaries, they include important points you need to know for the test. Make flash cards to study the vocabulary from the book, this is very important to improve your test score. Buy the optional e-book version of the class book from Karen, listen to it a couple times. Try to learn all the math, practice the math many times. If you can get all ten math questions correct, your score will be higher, this will improve your chances of passing the test. After the classes are over and two days before the state exam, take the practice test in the back of the book, this can reveal if you are test ready or not. Go back and review any questions you missed, your score will improve. Read the chapter summaries and review the math again the two days before the test. Now, you are test ready. Good luck on your test!

I stumbled on Karens you tube videos while prepping for the state exam and I couldnt be happier! Her ways of explaining the math is so easy to follow. I also took her 3 day crash course in Orlando and enjoyed every minute. She is a wealth of information and I suggest you if youre able to go to Orlando, dont give a second thought! I passed on my first try and owe it all to her and her teaching technique. Upon starting Karens 8-week course, I had no prior knowledge of real estate, I seriously didnt even know what a mortgage was. Now, Im actually writing this review as a licensed FL sales associate, just two months after starting the course at Demetree. Karen introduces and explains important real estate concepts out of a Florida real estate principles textbook, which is provided at the start of the course. She allows engagement with practice questions that test our knowledge on those topics that were reviewed in class and our homework. She also provided a study guide with things we ought to understand to pass the class exam. This all helped me with retaining the information that is necessary to pass the class test! An ex classmate recommended me the real estate exam prep by Demetree School of Real Estate I contacted Karen, the instructor and she was very helpful and explained me what to expect from it. This class was a 3 day course in which the 1st day was a 4. Hour class and discussed and explained only math. The other 2 days were focus in the most important material and followed with “quizzes”. Karen Climer (instructor) very professional and knowledgeable, she will tell you many times that if you do not understand to please ASK even if that means repeating herself. She also has a YouTube channel where you can referred to for quick and great explanations. The classes are long but she makes sure to give you a breaks to clear your mind. I passed on my first try! I needed to pass the FL real estate exam asap. I found Karens youtube videos and liked how she presented information and took you step by step thru the math problems. So when I went to her website and found her offering a cram course near my test time, I signed up. It was worth every penny. I paid for the class and a hotel. Write down and study everything she says and master all the math she gives you and you will pass!

I highly recommend Karen and the Demetree School of Real Estate! I just finished her class and passed my state exam on the first attempt! I really enjoyed how Karen structured our class times. She had great stories and ways to remember all of the important concepts that were covered on the class and state exam. Karen is a great teacher and very patient. She took the time to repeat information and go over additional practice problems on any topic students were struggling with. I went into both exams feeling very confident and prepared.

The format of Karen’s class works very well. It’s not just about taking notes and being read to from the book. She finds little ways to help you remember important points that you will be tested on. Also, the verbal quizzes are essential. It puts you on the spot as to your knowledge as the class progresses but that’s a good thing! It’s nothing compared to the stress you could feel when taking the state exam and not knowing the answers.

I took a weekend State Exam course somewhere else first as it was part of my initial exam education. There must have been 50 people in the class. Too many interruptions and we went over so much material, I felt like I was more overwhelmed then when I first went in. I was so confused about the math formulas that I went online looking for help in the school You Tube videos. Thats when I found a math video Karen had on You Tube and it was so well done, to the point and well explained and she offered a FREE math class. I called Karen up took the math class and paid to take the weekend State Exam review class. I finally understood the math equations and we only went over those items that were crucial to the exam. I have printed that each time and with a highlighter used it as refreshing material before any kind of test even before my upcoming exam I will use it. Excellent material. So I attended Karens cram class just this past weekend, (August 2020). On Friday night, she started with the math. She teaches you all the formulas and memory pegs along with great stories so you remember them! Saturday and Sunday we went through the book, (she basically splits the book in half). I took the exam on Monday afternoon and breezed through this exam, (I got a 99) LOL.I will tell you that many questions she goes over in class are on the exam. I highly recommend Karen. Ive known Karen several years through different community activities. I was first RE licensed back in the 90s for almost 10 years and let my license lapse. I have been doing investment real estate for over 30 years. I decided to go back into real estate full-time and get my RE license again. I took my prelicensing education online and thought I could pass the state exam but wanted to be sure. I took Karen’s weekend state license exam review before my Monday test(Tip: Take the state exam right after your prelicensing or review course. Don’t wait). After taking an online course and not passing the State test 4 times, I was fed up.I took Karen’s weekend review class and passed the test on Tuesday. She made learning extremely easy. I took the study weekend in preparation for my State Exam. I successfully completed the Florida Real Estate Salesperson Licensing Course and passed the end of course exam the first time. Yay me! However, I waited two years before I went to take the State Board exam. This was NOT a good idea. Yes, I FAILED! But hey...life happens. I decided to take a refresher course aka a Prep Class since it had been so long since I’d picked up my books. I highly recommend this class with Karen Klimer. Even though many will just be coming out of the 63 hour classroom, its well worth the investment to have someone go over the state exam and prepare for whats on the actual exam. Karen will also provide other study materials for when you finish the review class so you have something to reflect on after some considerable time passes. I went on a weekend from Friday thru Sunday. Karen keeps you engaged and the time flies by before you know it the training is over. I would not have passed the exam on my first attempt without attending Karens class. Her methods work, as I had to wait for almost 2 months to take the exam. I went back through all of her tips and study materials and it helped me immensely. Invest in your self for the future.

Karen is an amazing instructor! Before deciding to take the review class I watched a few of her YouTube videos. Days after watching those videos I could still randomly hear testing tips and the SIN of taxes. I knew then I had to take at least the review class to learn more about real estate. I took and passed my Real Estate Exam today, and I know that would not have been possible without taking the exam review class. I took my 63 hour real estate class dangerously close to 2 years ago. I knew I needed to take the state exam and pass it quickly. I didnt know how I was going to study and relearn this information in such a short time. I searched for cram classes and found Karen Climer. I noticed her classes were filling up quickly, I signed up for her class and thought I didnt get in. I emailed Karen and told her I tried to get in but the class was full. She called me back(which I didnt expect) and told me that I got in to the class.The class was awesome. Karen was very thorough and she gave lots of tips and tricks. The class was everything I needed to retain the information. Her You Tube videos are exactly what I needed to pass the math. I drove 3 hours to Orlando from Miami a week before the exam and I’m glad I did. Karen went over everything we needed to know and made sure not to waste time on content that wouldn’t be on the exam. She explains everything carefully and is always willing to answer questions. I strongly recommend her to anyone studying for the exam especially the in person classes in Orlando they’re well worth the money.

I took Karen Climer’s weekend state exam review. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT! I learned more in three days in her class than I did taking my course. I felt prepared for the exam and she taught the class in a way I will remember the information even after the exam. One of the best instructors I’ve had, very knowledgeable and explains the information in a practical way that is easier to understand rather than reading text straight from the book.

I had passed my course in February and then due to COVID and other personal reasons was unable to take my state exam until September. What can I say. After the weekend review in Orlando I took the exam 3 days later and I passed. If you really want to nail the exam in Florida go to Karen Climer. She knows her thing and she will make you know your thing believe me. She was so serious about not using cell phone in class and I was mad at first but realized it really helped me concentrate and learn for the exam.
