It’s my 6th year training at Aikido of Reno. Vince sensei was always there for us at the Dojo even through this chaotic year 2020. I am always grateful to be training under Vince sensei and with many wonderful students at the Dojo.

Aikido of Reno is an extremely well-run dojo: continuously positive and welcoming to all ages, with a strong focus on discipline and respect. My son has been a student there for over nine years (since early elementary school) and has benefited enormously both physically and emotionally. One of Renos best assets.

I went there off and on and when I first joined I told Vince I had some difficulty with my balance due to an illness that has left me slightly disabled, he understood just fine.I had to take some time off for awhile due to personal issues, I came back and picked up where I left off. I liked it for awhile but then I kinda notice Vinces behavior towards me started to change.I felt more like I was being forced to go past my limit, and it seemed he completely forgot about my disability. I mean no disrespect towards Vince but, no one should feel pressured to do something thats supposed to bring them peace, that kinda defeats the purpose.

My family and I have been training at Aikido of Reno for over ten years and we feel so blessed to have found this very special dojo, teacher and martial art. Training in Aikido has focused our lives on a very positive path towards peaceful conflict resolution, win-win interactions and a healthy way to move your body. There are so many positive aspects to the art on so many levels of your life. I would encourage families to train together and become more harmonious both physically and emotionally in life. What a gift! Come to to dojo and give it a try!

Haven’t been to class for a few years now (job) but Sensei Vince was the best sensei under whom I have ever studied. His energy and demeanor fully embody the spirit of aikido and even the kids’ class was enthusiast, energetic, fun, and respectful. It takes a very talented and dedicated instructor to pull of what Vince has done for that dojo.

I am Chief Instructor of AikidoKa, in Grass Valley, California. I have known Vince Salvatore Sensei for many years.Vince Sensei is a terrific instructor and aikidoist. Without a doubt, he cares deeply about his students and dojo community. As a result, training at Aikido of Reno is a wonderful, fun experience. His youth classes are a blast, filled with smiling children. If you are at all interested in martial arts training, for yourself or your children, check out Aikido of Reno.
