Ive done 7-10 classes over the years and theyre always fun and educational. The instructors are great and the atmosphere is relaxed. Id like to do as private party some time but in the meantime I highly recommend any class they offer!

I went to Danielles Printmaking 101 class last night. Solid instruction, nice (and talented! good grief) group of participants (capped at 8), and fun background music. The Workshops space is a bit of a hole in the wall (bathroom door closes grudgingly), but if it helps keep the overhead (and thus the prices) down, its not such a bad thing.

I organized a private leather-working class for my coworkers, and we had a great experience! The instructor was great, and she walked us through each step, from dyeing the leather, to folding and stitching it into the right shape, and attaching the clasps. We learned a ton, but were still able to chat and enjoy a beer while we were taking the class. We all left with adorable and functional leather wallets, and we will be sure to come back soon!

We were first timers on our mother/son date night. We enjoyed the class and will be back soon. Our instructor was fabulous and had so much patience.

Awesome space! Check out their website for all of their upcoming workshops. Perfect place to pick up a new skill or hobby. I attended one of their pie making classes and it was so much fun! Who knew making pie crust with a chock full of vodka could be life changing...!!!

Zero customer service. 0/5 will never suggest anyone to try any of these events.Emergency caused us to be a few minutes late, we were turned away from the rest of the 5+ hour class and our 100$ each goes down the drain. You basically missed how to use the machine entirely so we were told were not welcome to stay at all.Sly way to nab our $ without any work.

Took the plants class. The instructor was a lady who just moved to California and knew nothing about the habits of the plants here. She didnt even bother to Google the plant that we used in class. She recycled the old teaching material from back when she lived on the east coast. When questioned, she was rude and defensive. Come on Workshop SF, there are lots of farmers in Cali, hire someone nice and knowledgeable.

Workshop is an amazing place to learn new skills.Options include anything from burger and pizza making to soap and screen printing to sewing and carpentry (the two I did). They are at least a few hours each class so you actually make an output from each class - in sewing we made a beer coozy and sock monster, in carpentry we made a toolbox. Some classes are a full day long, like beer-brewing, so that you get to an actual output. Classes are not too terribly expensive - about $50-75 for the smaller ones and up to $100 for a longer one.Theres beer available there or coffee across the street at Matching Half - highly recommend this as a fun place to learn new skills.

I took a screen printing class here and the class was definitely affordable. I was a one day, 3 hour class and I wished we had more time! Nico, our friendly instructor, was nice, corky, funny and knowledgable. She taught us the whole process of screen printing, from finding out what mesh number to use to layering on images on a t-shirt.This class is very helpful if you want to learn how to screen print. Although it will be expensive to have the equipment to screen print from start to finish, Nico dropped a lot of DIY knowledge in saving money. Loved it and would come back for other classes! Thanks Workshop SF !

I highly recommend the create your own terrarium, blend your own tea, intro to screenprinting, and pie in a jar classes.
