The staff here is very helpful and happy to help.I came here to get some printing work. There was a slight messup. Casey, who works at the print station was very helpful. Not only did he calmly address the situation, but he went above and beyond to fix the issue.Im definitely coming back to this location.

I’ve been coming to this store almost every day for the passed year, and not once have I had an unpleasant experience here. All the employees are always helpful and never treat you different if I’m there during the day or ten minutes before closing. Billy C. and the other staff at the Holgate Office Depot/Store 811 are always helpful and kind when I stop by for supplies. I came into the store today to fill up on G2 Pilot Pen ink refills in Bold. Most stores carry either the Fine or Extra Fine G2 pens or refills. This Office Depot at always has a stock of Bold in black and blue, and this says a lot to me, as my visits to the store have been here-and-there due to Covid-19. In addition to these I also picked up some other items because they always have solid sales.Billy C. and the staff are always helpful to me and I value the human interaction, like eye contact and having a pleasant conversation. Also wanted to shout out Kasey for escorting me to my car because a man was trying to follow me in the parking lot. My wife had a shockingly bad experience today at this Office Depot in Seattle. After searching stores throughout Western Washington, she finally found the Epson photo scanner shed been shopping for at the Office Depot on Airport Way in Seattle. We live far from the store. She called and asked to have the scanner reserved through the day today until she was able to pick it up. The staff promised to do that. She tried to buy it while she was on the phone, in fact, but they would not let her. Today she drove the long distance from northeast King County to the store in south Seattle. When she got there, a store employee informed her that although her name had been placed on the scanner, it had been sold to someone else a little earlier. As a result, she wasted a two-hour round trip and left the store empty-handled. The employee who talked to her did not apologize or offer an equivalent machine: His attitude seemed to be So what, lady. We have been Office Depot customers for many years, and we have never had anything like this ever happen at any store. Her treatment was rude, inconsiderate and shameful. I wish I could give zero stars to this experience, but I apparently have to give it one.

Is it hard to be polite? The print dept guy found it very difficult to be polite and very easy to be rude.

It is unfortunate that there are so many junkies outside as the customer service is more paranoid than helpful.

I have been to this store two times. It is out of the way a bit for me but very easy to get to. I had reason go there recently added they had the laptop I wanted ad my local store did not. The manager here gladly held it for me for a few days until I could get there. I ended up purchasing more items and he packed them up for me so that I could carry them comfortably on public transportation.

Had a great experience. Thought my laptop was fried. Took it in and they told me it was just busy doing updates. So instead of charging me an ungodly amount to fix it they just gave me some friendly advice. Thanks guys!

A convenient place to ship via FedX. NO LINES! Was going there for other things, so why not. Very quick trip. Also can ship usps (HINT)

I went in to do some color copying and the rather poor directions on the machine ended up costing me a few bucks, no big deal, but the store was either unwilling or unable to give me a refund. At Fed Ex in Georgetown the same thing happened, but they happily refunded me.

Easy to find most of what Im looking for. I enjoy browsing the clearance sections (which do move from time to time), but fills all the needs I have for an office supply store. I do most of my shopping through the website, but having a local store helps.

I have to give Howard, at the print station is the best. I’ve gone to him 3 times in a month for help with my wedding stationary and he was nothing but so helpful.

I must say its hit and miss here... some staff members are friendly and helpful, others are draggin it. Checkout IS PAINFULLY SLOW as another reviewer remarked. It might be quicker paying cash vs. card.

NEVER HAVE I, EVER.....in my life, left a store nearly in tears from both, FOR BEING FORCED TO LEAVE, WITHOUT EVEN A REASON OR EXPLANATION AS TO WHY, AND THEN BEING TOLD I CANT PURCHASE THE 15 TO 20 ITEMS, I JUST spent a hour and a half, GETTING....ON CRUTCHES! MIND YOU;AND THEN NOT EVEN GIVEN THE CURTOUSY WHEN I ASK AS TO WHY, the sudden unreasonable kicking out, but....I get,only a rude! NO we dont have to tell YOU anything SO I honestly ask was it because I took too long and meagerly went down almost every isle! It being first of the month I just got my SSDI, SO I WAS GETTING ALL THE NECESSARY THINGS I HAD PLANNED GETTING WHEN I WENT THERE TO BEGIN WITH,AND WHATEVER ELSE I SAW THAT WAS INTERESTING, ....SO STILL NO REASON AS TO WHY I CANT EVEN PURCHASE THE THINGS ALREADY IN MY CART, I PLEAD DO YOU THINK I DONT HAVE MONEY OR DONT PLAN TO BUY ALL OT THE STUFF, WHICH WAS IDK $150. I rate this Office Depot as OK because if you work in downtown and need something, thank goodness theyre around. But then again, maybe not.It seems like every time I pop in here, theres something missing from the store thats on my list. If said list was Hot Pink Duct Tape with Leopard Spots and Navy and Ecru Striped File Folders, then OK - understandable.But on my most recent visit, said item was #9 return envelopes. Like 50 for a small mailing I was doing. But, alas, no luck. If I wanted to spend $45 for 500 of them with security panels, yes. But I just wanted 50, wouldve taken 100, and no security panels or address windows, etc. - just #9. (I wouldve bought a reasonable quantity with the security panels - that wasnt an option).On another trip, it was a particular size Rolodex card that was missing. Prior to that, desk blotter calendars. You get it, its always something.I will say theyre nice about it, but not overly apologetic and no real remedy offered. Its easy enough in and out except the parking spaces out front are squeezed in a bit too tight, and sometimes you cant back up and out if some shmuck in an extra long truck or mondo SUV pulls in carelessly.It also annoyed me that I had the WA State form to purchase tax exempt for a group that I was volunteering with for said mailing in need of #9 envelopes. And they wouldnt accept that, saying you have to fill out their form and submit to their corporate office and then in a week or so they would send a card to present to purchase tax exempt. Really, people? Im sure most smaller groups end up doing like I did and saying forget it and paying the $1.00, thus eliminating the need for Office Depot to hire proper accounting staff and upgrade to proper POS software where they could have accepted the form in the first place.

Stopped in to get a ink cartridge and had to wait for an employee now that the ink is locked up, I tell him the brand and type multiple times then in frustration leave telling him I will buy online! If your service sucks you will go away like all other retailers who have closed down.

Poor customer service, sold me the wrong ink cartridge, had to return it and did not have the one I needed even though online said the had it in stock. 2 wasted trips.

Its fine, though the location is a bit sketchy. I pick up orders from the printing department and everything comes out as ordered which is the most important part.

AVOID THIS STORE AT ALL COST!!! If I could I would rate this Office Depot (Holgate Seattle) negative five stars without an ounce of exaggeration needed. Never in my life have I been so badly treated and ABUSED VERBALLY by any store or a single employee/owner until today. So my boyfriend and I were waiting at the bus station right outside the store on Holgate and Airport way. Anybody who knows that area is familiar with the homeless problem and how that bus stop in particular can be a bit rowdy and crowded. Soyg_n** we decided to do a little shopping in the Office Depot until the crowd thinned out. My boyfriend had just gotten paid from work and we had several items wed been waiting to buy. Both of us are members of the rewards program Office Depot offers and both ok f our accounts show exactly how much money we have spent at that location(Combined thousands of dollars). So what happened next was both baffling and infuriating to us both.

Very dissapointing!!Went in for phone case. Was told rudely my phone was to old and there was not a case. It was an iPhone 6 and there were many cases. I waited for 10 mins my the earbuds before I walked out. The service is about as bad as possible!!
