We transitioned to Goddard School of Allen at the beginning of 2020. The teachers have been incredible and the staff and owners are very friendly and professional. It feels like being part of the family.Miss Paulina has had a profound impact on my 5yo in her Jr Kinder program. She had a lot of fun and is excited to start Kindergarten already ahead on math and reading skills.Huge thanks to Miss Cammy for potty training my 2yo AND working with her to stop sucking her thumb and talk more. She comes home singing songs and telling us about her day!Amid pandemic concerns the owners and staff quickly pivoted their safety processes and focused on the health and mental well-being of the children. they are communicative and all on the same page with more frequent enhanced cleaning, temp checks, restrictions on who can enter the bldg and other ways they have put safety first. Despite the changes and fatigue they continue to operate with energy, smiles and high quality service. We look forward to being parts of the Goddard family for years to come!

You will be SO satisfied with John, Amanda, and the rest of the staff. This place is more than just childcare, or even education. Almost over night, the behavior development, speech, and social skills of my son was extremely noticeable. If youre looking for a school to take CARE of your child, please give The Goddard School in Allen a chance.

We just moved to the area from Austin. My daughter was in a couple of different daycares the first 3 years of her life. This place is a parents’ dream. In the past, communication with my daughter’s teachers has been very difficult. I never really knew what she was eating or learning about or how to reinforce new information at home. I only knew how she was behaving when there was some sort of write up or incident report. I would show up to pick her up and have questions that were very difficult to get answered because the closers were not let in on what happened during the day. I felt like we were constantly in trouble or being judged or having behavior issues. The Goddard School has been the total opposite. I get reports every single day of what her class did for the day, what they are learning, why it’s important for their development, and specific goals in mind that align with their tasks. I get pictures of her in that report showing different activities she engaged in, such as rock climbing, painting, balance beams, basketball... what she ate, how much. Some of the pictures are downloadable, as they are just of her. Group pictures are not, so as to respect the privacy of the other families and children. I try to get her in early when I can so we can take full advantage of the morning learning time as well as the afternoon fun time, but as a single mom taking night classes, sometimes I am in class almost as soon as I pick her up and by the time I am finished, it’s bed time... so the days following, I prefer to spend a little extra time with my daughter in the mornings before dropping her off. I understand children thrive off of routine, but that has been kind of our routine, and I’ve gotten some backlash from her previous daycares and felt like I have to explain myself or like we were disrupting. We have never been made to feel that way here and it makes a world of difference. My daughter is happy and thriving and excited to go to school and to learn. My only wish is that we had moved here and started her at the Goddard School sooner. You will not find a better place for your little ones, at such a reasonable price, and with such a kind and intelligent family as the Snowman family. I’m so impressed.

I honestly cant say enough good things about this school, the staff and the owners. Our daughter has been a student for 3 years now and will continue for one more year. She is more than prepared to enter Kindergarten and I cannot wait to see how much she learns in the Kindergarten class. We have been given so much support and our daughter has blossomed. My infant enjoys her time here as well. She is socializing and had learned to accept care from someone other than her parents. We are incredibly impressed with the transparency the teachers, administrators and owners give us regarding policies and changes within the school. The teachers are incredible and truly love the children in their care.

We Love Goddard Allen, specifically the private Kindergarten run by Ms. Jes. If you are looking for small group, one on one instruction from a teacher who TRULY cares for each of her students and their families, Goddard private Kinder is a must!We have been at Goddard since my son was 2 and have loved every teacher he has had since then. As working parents it’s never easy to leave your kiddo in a place they are unfamiliar with at first but Goddard and Ms. Cammy (my son’s first teacher) made me feel comfortable immediately by sending me smiling pictures throughout the first couple days. Now he is heading to public school and he is overly prepared, I would even say advanced as he is not quite 6 and can read/ write and doing more advanced math (for his age) like a champ! If you’re looking for a pre-school that cares and feels personal not pretentious, Goddard Allen is a great place to start.

Goddard has been home to our boys for 2 years. My oldest son is overly prepared for kindergarten. At 5 years old he reads fluently, can add and subtract and has an incredible love of learning! He was so loved by his teachers and I can’t say enough great things about the owners and teachers of this school. We will greatly miss them!

Our family absolutely loves the Goddard School in Allen. We drive all the way from Frisco to bring our two children! Whenever we take our three-year-old son and five-year-old daughter in the mornings, they are eager as we arrive to join in the activities and greet the other students and their teachers. The teachers are wonderful and always amiably welcome our children with a smile each and every time. The communication between the school and home is very detailed and dependable, both between the Tadpoles emails and from the teachers themselves when I arrive to pick up our kids in the afternoon. They extensively describe all of the activities the kids participated in and all of the learning objectives for that day across a wide variety of subject areas.Management and the owners are terrific people as well. They make you feel like family the second you walk in the door. They themselves are very involved with the children over the course of they day also, going above and beyond their duties and tasks in the front offices and frequently stopping by in the classrooms and on the playground to visit and play with the kids. John, Amanda, and Cindy are amazing people! This school is definitely the best of the best, and I as a teacher myself would recommend it to anyone searching for an educational, emotionally supportive, and enjoyable environment for their own children. Thank you, Goddard School in Allen!

My daughter started attending The Goddard School of Allen when she was 17 months old; this year in kindergarten, she tested into the Gifted and Talented program at her elementary school, and Id like to thank all the amazing teachers she has had at Goddard over the last few years! I know God gave her her intellect and potential, but your preschool program and wonderful teachers had a HUGE hand in laying a strong foundation for her and nurturing her so she can reach her potential. I can’t thank you enough for all the learning AND love she has gotten at Goddard.

Love everyone there! My husband and I have a 18month with all of our family on the east coast. So we had to put our daughter in daycare. I was so nervous about it at first; however, everyone made us feel so comfortable. Amanda and Cindy always encouraged me to just to drop by anytime to help put me at ease when dropping off our daughter for the first time. My favorite part is the daily emails they send on what she did that day and they will even include pictures of her day. Which is my favorite part!!! Our daughter is learning so much more then i ever relized she could. I would recommend that if you are looking for a place to check them out first.

He was completely prepared and shows confidence in the classroom. His teacher even mentioned how she loves to teach Goddard kids. We will forever be thankful for our time spent at Goddard and the dedication of their amazing staff.

From our first meeting with the owner, Amanda, and the school director, Cyndi, we were very impressed with Goddard. The Goddard school offers a well-rounded curriculum in a warm and nurturing environment. My oldest child is a Goddard graduate. Her Kindergarten teacher was very impressed with how well she was prepared for Kindergarten. I credit Goddard with preparing my child for the transition from preschool to elementary school. My second child has been at Goddard since he was an infant and I could not imagine anyone else caring for my child then the amazing teachers at Goddard. We have been thrilled with the education and care our children have received from Goddard. We consider the teachers, director and owners a part of our family!

As a first time parent, my wife and I struggled in beginning daycare for our 7 month old baby girl. She had never been more than arms length away from one of us and fear set in that she would in some way be less cared for than we would like. We visited several facilities in and around Allen and it was clear that this was the very best option available. As hard as it was to drop her off on our first day, I was quickly able to see that she was in very good hands. We receive the most amazing reports each day as soon as we pick her up which detail all of her days activities, bathroom schedule, feedings, etc. They are so fun to read that our whole extended family now emails them back and forth to keep up with our little angel. Though I still miss her everyday, it is very clear to me that she is gaining a more valuable experience everyday than she ever could at home with us. She is happy when we drop her off and is very content when we see her in the afternoon for pickup. I am very grateful to Goddard for taking such good care of our baby!

I am so surprised at the difference in her behavior and knowledge. I would recommend this school to everyone who wants to make a difference in their kidss life.

I dont leave negative reviews lightly, so for any interested parents, Im leaving a rather lengthy review below for your consideration. When my child is basically *not fed* during the day, theyre fortunate that 1 star is the minimum...We had two children, around 3 and 5, in this school for only a few weeks and experienced multiple problems. After two potty accidents with my child, that has never had an accident, within a couple hours, we questioned the teachers about what happened and were told they werent sure, because there was absolutely zero communication between the morning/lunch teachers and the late afternoon ones. We discussed this with the appropriate staff and were told that the staff member just needed to get a personality and stop being so shy, as well as a comment that things were different during the summer. All we were wanting was reassurance that there would be some form of communication and transition when teachers leave for the day and are replaced by new ones, not excuses.Their food situation is strange, at best. They bring in outside meals, which are extra, with the option to bring in your own lunch. I have a picky eater, so we packed some of her favorite foods the second week and realized they werent heating them up (i.e. cold taco meat for tacos, etc.) - we were OK with this, and chalked it up to being unreasonable to heat something up for every child, so we purchased a Thermos to keep food warm on the days she wouldnt eat the outside food. Since we sent food two days in a row, the teachers told our daughter she couldnt eat the same thing two days in a row and refused to give her the food we sent today, only giving her strawberries, applesauce, and a sandwich that we, and they, specifically knew she wouldnt eat - which is why we packed her lunch to begin with! There was absolutely no communication to us about her not having a lunch today and no research into their *own* system, which clearly documents what she had yesterday and could have shown the difference in today - tacos arent the same as Hamburger Helper. What adult thinks a few strawberries is an appropriate meal for a child in an 8 hour span?! Or that a parent would only pack 4 strawberries for their childs lunch?!I wouldnt recommend this daycare to anyone. The lack of common sense and communication dont inspire any sort of confidence, especially enough to leave my children in their care. We would be more than happy to discuss our experience with any interested parents.

Bless my kids heart, she is a stubborn one, and getting her to listen to Mama is like pulling teeth! Goddard is not only getting my child ready for school academically, but instilling important skills in social behavior. She makes good choices because her teachers tell her to do so, because she values those wonderful ladies and wants to do right by them. Acadmic-wise, I feel that Goddards curriculum is engaging and challenging, yet appropriate for the childrens ages and abilities. Not only the teachers are great, but the director is fabulous and extremely knowledgeable. The owners dont just own the place - they are VERY involved with our children as well, and make it feel like a family. If I could keep my daughter in there through college, I would! We are SO pleased with our time at Goddard!

I have been living in TX for 5 years now, and I have had 2 boys going to this Goddard (1 now going into 3rd grade) for the entire 5 years. This school has had an amazing impact on my kids. My older sons advancement was noticed within a few weeks of going to this school. All of the sudden he was speaking a lot more and started to really be social. When my oldest went into kindergarten, he was already way ahead of the curriculum. My younger son is about to start public school this year, and he is also way ahead of the game. There are cheaper places out there, and we have used cheaper ones before, but you know what they say, you get what you pay for. And every penny has been worth it to have had our kiddos go here.

My 2 year old son has been at Goddard School for a year and he LOVES it! I was a typical mom that cried the first time I dropped him off for his first day of school. The staff was so understanding and made the process MUCH easier for me (and him). It gives me piece of mind to know that my son is in such good hands. He has learned so much in the year that hes been there. He looks forward to going everyday and always has a smile on his face when I come to pick him up. I was very hesitant to put him in preschool, but I now I know I made the right decision when I picked Goddard. I have absolutely no regrets!

We have been a part of the Goddard Family for 15 months. Before our first child was born, my wife and I did what any anxious new parents would do. We visited dozens of schools. Everyone had pretty much the same pitch, offered similar programs and were all relatively priced similar. We had narrowed it down between this Goddard school and Primrose off of McDermott. Primrose was slightly cheaper, a little closer and also provided lunches. After calling both Schools with some final questions, I knew after I hung up the phone that we would be bestowing our trust in Goddard to care for our child. After introducing my self on the phone, Amanda was the only one I did not have to reintroduce my self to again. She was able to tell me who I was, my wife’s name, due date and our anticipated enrollment date from our initial visit 3 weeks prior. There is a feeling of warmth and comfort that radiates from the owner that was missing from our visits to other schools. Looking back, leaving our child in the care of people we did not know was at that point the hardest day of our lives. What made each day easier were the primary care takers. Being new parents with family half way across the country most of my knowledge on raising a baby came from reading books. The teachers gave us lots of advice from raising their own children as well as caring for hundreds of others. For example, our daughter has very sensitive skin and was breaking out in rashes. We tried everything our Dr. advised us to do and the school even changed their soaps and detergents to see if something they were doing was causing it. The teacher suggested we try a particular lotion and just like that our daughter was cured. There are numerous more examples I could give but it shows you the teachers go above and beyond. As our daughter got older she moved on from class to class and it was harder on my wife and I then it was for our daughter because each time we had so much faith in her current teacher. It is amazing to see how quickly our daughter has developed and socializes with others. Our daughter is 19 months now and it takes a lot longer to drop her off in the morning and to leave in the afternoon because she has to say hello and give hugs good-bye to every teacher and helper that has been a part of her life. If actions speak louder then words, then my review is pretty much done. To my wife and I what I stated above is what is most important to us. Some other great things about the school that we have experienced so far are the individual daily reports that have pictures included. They also offer parents night out once a month, which we have benefited from numerous times. The owners are great at decorating for the season and holidays. The school also puts together great events for Halloween and breakfast with Santa for Christmas. If you ever have any concerns, they do their best to rectify the problem. To conclude my review, the staff sets this school a part from others and when our second child is born in the New Year, their first day of school will be a lot easier on the wide and I.
