I really loved the nature of this gym. It’s for people who want to gain confidence, get in shape, and it requires a certain level of commitment. They set a high bar but that’s there so you gain skill, consistency, and become better at the craft of Muy Thai. The instructors genuinely care about your improvement and you must be willing to show up if you want to improve. Strongly recommend

Bangkok Boxing and fitness is the best gym in the Atlanta area for learning Muay Thai. The owner is a world class fighter, extremely friendly, and you can tell he genuinely cares about each student’s success. He regularly teaches the classes himself. The atmosphere is great and everyone there is very welcoming and helpful. The equipment is clean and very high quality. They have a full gym (squat racks, barbells, dumb bells, kettlebells) if you want to get in a lift before/after your class as well. I also bought my gloves from the gym as well and they are extremely high quality, hand made, full leather, with a four inch Velcro strap for the best wrist support/stability while training. I would strongly recommend signing up for a free first session to try it out, if you go once you’ll be hooked and keep coming back for more!

Everything about this gym feels great. Top notch trainers/coaches under master Khunpons guidance, structured sessions that can help you increase your technique and cardio and generally calm & composed fighters around whom I enjoy training & sparring with. I have been training Muay Thai for ~7 years in & out, trained in 5 different gyms in the last few years (bunch of relocation) and this has been the best gym & experience for me so far. And the membership fee is very reasonable when considering what you get in return. Dont hesitate to join the fun!

There is absolutely no doubt: here you will have the best Muay Thai training in Atlanta, maybe the entire state. Khunpon is an experienced fighter and coach. Coming straight from Thailand, can’t get more real than that. He is connected to several of the best fighters in the world, and they come from Thailand to the USA to teach seminars at BBF. No other gym in Atlanta has that privilege. I was instructed by the likes of Samart Payakaroon (regarded as the Best p4p fighter in Muay Thai of all time, 6x fighter of the year), Kaensak Sor Ploenjit (2x fighter of the year) and many others. DEFINITELY worth checking out.

The coach/ owner taught the class personally. While teaching, he made sure to communicate with me personally and train me at a beginner level. I trained Muay Thai briefly many years ago, but I consider myself a beginner. Being a beginner doest matter though, all the trainers here are excellent and can accommodate beginner to advanced. Another advantage to training here is that there are different disciplines to choose from, such as Boxing and Fitness Kickboxing. The gym is very well maintained, and has all the equipment necessary to become a well trained fighter or in my case, get some much needed conditioning.

DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS GYM. Before COVID it was fine. As soon as COVID started it became clear that they didnt care and they were determined to get the money one way or another with no plan to safely reopen or consideration for the fact that it is a GLOBAL PANDEMIC. For the amount of money the membership costs youre MUCH better off going to a traditional and reputable gym. At least that way you will have the facilities and cleaning practices for the price point.-After updating my credit card information with the gym, they still used the old card and charged me for late/unsatisfied payment.-After asking how billing would be changed during the shelter in place order (because you know, global pandemic happening) I was given the option to buy out the balance of my membership. This went directly against the contract, but I was sent to the membership third party (ABC Financial) to correct. Only later to find out they charged me for a freeze anyway.- I was told by ABC financial that they had ceased billing and would not bill anything on until the gym reopened. In actuality they did not stop billing until late April, then opened the gym May 1st (which is something I didnt know until I was suddenly threatened with collections. When I told them there was no communication sent out they advised that they had posted the reopening on instagram)-Speaking of collections, I got radio silence from the gym up until they decided to threaten me with collections for not paying something I was told they would not bill me for during a pandemic in the first place. No updated cleaning practices, no new tentative opening date, silence. Then YOUR ACCOUNT IS OVERDUE AND IF YOU DO NOT CORRECT WE WILL SEND YOU TO COLLECTIONS. I called the gym and left messages, no response. I emailed, I was sent to ABC Financial who then told me they couldnt do anything, the only handle billing. Its soooooo disappointing because I used to enjoy going, but it was a slap in the face for my membership to be handled this way. These are confusing times, but all of my other memberships at least gave the impression they understood that COVID-19 creates some apprehension about being in high touch point areas, despite any openings put in place.

The workouts are intense, as they should be, but the results come quickly. The classes are typically split between doing combinations on a bag and then doing plyo / body weight exercises. The kickboxing instructors are Will, James, Victor and Thai Jo. Each has their own style for running the class and theyre all great instructors. Highly recommend coming here if you want a workout that doesnt involve just throwing a few dumbbells around. The owner doesnt care to know you as a client let alone the incredible trainers he has employed. The trainers (all brilliant in their passions) are what keeps that place afloat.Call someone who cares because no one from management will speak to you over the phone:- I have witnessed the manager blatantly refusing to come to an awaiting customer via phone whilst the baffled front desk wrestles with what to say.- I have witnessed the manager interrupting a full class to most disrespectfully reprimand a trainer because he wasnt satisfied with the trainers direction. He is without a doubt an ornery dog that hasnt considered the dynamics of fitness and how they have evolved since he was trained- 100 years ago??Here is my advice, you may still have time to turn it around:- Open a textbook on Fitness training or take a few classes- Be nice to your staff- support them- Consider Class Pass- Sanitize the mats/pads- Look how many people have negatively commented on your 3rd party collector ABC- maybe consider another one with better customer service- call me if you should need any additional suggestionsTruly, the tragedy is what the gym could actually be.

I used to box, and since I moved to Atlanta Ive been looking for an MMA gym to continue/expand my training. I did trials at almost all the MMA gyms in Atlanta, and this one was definitely the best, which is why I chose to get a year long membership here. They have a really nice facility and great trainers that give you a ton of personal instruction (and the class sizes are smaller than some of the bigger gyms, so you get a lot more one on one learning). They are also very technical, so you know youre learning good technique in this gym. In my first classes, the instructors continued to fine tune my movements until they were correct, before moving on to learning a new technique. I really appreciated the attention to detail. They also were really understanding, and gave me a great price for my membership. Definitely give this gym a try!

I took Muay Thai a few years ago and really fell in love with it. I was excited to see a local gym offering classes and seeming to specialize in it with strong coaching talent...however upon reaching out trying to understand pricing, they said they would only discuss fees and pricing after I came in for a free class. I understand sales and the importance of face to face client interaction, but they would not offer any transparency. The idea of going to a class and dealing with the post work ATL rush hour for a free 5:30 class to potentially find out afterwards that the pricing doesnt offer a good ROI is rather unreasonable, I think. I have lived in several states where Ive joined gyms of different disciplines and all have been transparent regarding their pricing structure. This is the first gym Ive encountered that basically held their pricing details hostage. Its like if a car dealership said We wont tell you the price of the vehicle until you come drive it. It felt as if they wanted me in person to try and hard close me or just didnt value my time, as thats all I was trying to figure out, that if their pricing would reflect an equal partnership of my time and money.Edit: in response to the owner. I did call the gym and got no answer. I did however communicate with a gym rep via email and their exact words were In regards to specific pricing, I cannot share that information with you through email or over the phone. Again, its unsettling you all are holding your prices hostage until someone comes in to take a class. Some people may very well like the class and have a great experience but still not be able to afford it etc.

If only I could give no stars.I had the absolute worst experience here.I don’t think I’ve experienced this level of unprofessionalism, lack of empathy, non-responsiveness, unorganized management and staff ever in life . Their lack of empathy shows that their customers mean absolutely nothing to them other then a wad of cash. I’d advice to stay clear of this place at all costs.I took a trial kickboxing class and decided to sign up with Bridgette(front desk). The class was great. I specifically told Bridgette that billing at the very beginning of each month was not a great time for me, so we agreed on a specific billing date. A few months in, I happen to look at my account and saw that they were taking out on the 4th of each month. I reached out to Bangkok and I explained what was going on and a male (can’t remember his name) said he’d try and resolve this issue and get back to me. He never did. I called again. No response. I went in to address this with Bridgette and she told me see remembered the exact conversation about billing and was confused as to why they were taking payments out on the wrong date. She gave me the email to management and told me to email them directly. I did just what she asked me but apparently she had given the wrong email address. I finally was given the correct email address and management emailed me one big excuse as to why billing was being taken on the wrong date. No apology, no nothing. Days later, I re-injured my ankle and was unable to continue kickboxing under doctors orders. So i emailed them a letter from my doctor and they told me I’d have to go through ABC financial to get out of my contract. ABC financial stated that my doctors note from my doctor was not sufficient and that I had to have a permeant disability to get out of contract and told me that an ankle injury wasn’t a permeant injury. They said it was what i agreed to in my contract when I signed it. I went to have a look at my contract and realized I was never shown that part of the contract, nor did I sign to it It was completely blank!. Bridgette said that if I needed to get out of contract, that I should just email management and they would work with me when I initially signed up. I was heated! Never was I given this information. Never did I agree to this absurdity. And now you all want to make it near impossible for me to get out of my contract when I’m severely injured but you don’t believe me so who cares, right? To shorten the story a bit, I ended up getting a doctors note saying I had a permanently disabled foot and ankle BUT THEY DIDN’T WANT TO ACCEPT IT because it didn’t say I was permanently disabled but that my ankle and foot was permanently disabled. RIDICULOUS! They finally agreed to let me out of contract but I had to pay $139 for the month of May which I’m not able to use because I have a disabled foot! . I emailed my dismay to management and they completely ignored me! So unprofessional! I had plenty of friends who came with me to kickboxing or wanted to join but i can’t wait to share with everyone how terrible of a gym this week is. Never again!

Decided to try Bangkok Fitness out for a great cardio workout. After a few sessions in the 5:30p MWF Muay Thai class I give this gym 5 stars. They have a very pleasant and helpful staff with great instructors that’s helping reach my fitness goals. Give them a try today! Amazing gym! Good vibes!

I was a hardcore supporter of this gym-was a member for almost two years, bought their merch, referred friends, etc. But come to find out after I moved to a different area and attempted to cancel my account by calling their front desk staff, my membership was continuously renewed month to month. Now Im being called by a credit company they sold my debt to, and theyre attempting to charge me almost $700. Beware-they make a clerical error and you could end up in debt.

I have wanting to take Kick Boxing and Muay Thai classes for years. My excuse was either no time, funds are short, or I did not have the motivation. I checked out Bangkok Boxing and was very impressed so I decided to take advantage of the free class. After taking the class I was very impresses, the facility was clean and well equipped, staff were polite, and the instructors are very knowledgeable, so I signed up. My first Muay Thai class was taught by Khunpon, although he is a very advanced and accomplished Muay Thai fighter is has the ability to break down the very fundamental movements which I need. I have never taking martial arts before. I plan to get fit, healthy and lose weight. I’ll re visit this feedback in a month to let you know how much weight I loose.

Please be careful with signing up for this Gym. The staff and classes are top notch, but their business practices are very shady. I attended the gym for 2 years and was not able to attend classes after moving. A year and half later I received a notice from a company called First Credit claiming that I owe over 600 dollars for non payment of the membership. Mind you, this membership bills directly from my debit acct. I called Bangkok boxing to resolve the issue and they claimed to have no power to address the debt collector. Needless to say I am not the only one to have experienced the issue. I highly recommend that you DO NOT sign up for a for full membership. its 3 years later and Im still trying to resolve this issue with no help from Bangkok who i believe sold my acct for money.

Watch out for a certain train that keep asking to borrow money i got scammed for some money that i will never get back and i don’t even feel comfortable coming back now he might beat me up if i even bring it up on top of that i still have to pay membership every month smh now i wish i never even loan him money but they gym is great other than the scamming part

The teachers are great but the price is WAY too high for what you are actually getting out of a gym membership. $69 per month for an 18 month contract is a little ridiculous considering they really only have 2 types of classes worth attending unless you want to become a hardcore muy thai fighter. And dont even THINK about getting out of that contract. They make it extremely difficult to do so.

Great place to learn Muay Thai or BJJ. Most of the instructors are active (and successful) fighters themselves so theres no better education than that. Can definitely recommend.

They brought Muay Thai to Atlanta! Kru Khunpon and Kru Jo Nattawut are some of the best to train with! Khunpon is always looking to add new talent and mix up the instructors. He is looking to bring on a Lumpinee champion to come teach soon! LEGIT MUAY THAI!

DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE.. the team at collier road is great theyre fantastic teachers but the main branch and management is beyond disrespectfull run and shady Ive tried to cancel for over 5 months were they refused to send the cancelation request to the abc financial then when I finally got ahold of abc the lady Jomm did everything she could to try and scam me. When I initially called she said that jomm wasnt there until I got tired of her rude disrespectfull attitude and asked for the manager then she let me know she was jomm when I asked why she lied she ignored the question 4 times. I then asked for a simple email from the company to be sent to abc showing tha I requested a cancellation during that month and she refused saying she needed the all personal secure information I sent to abc which she did not she was rude demeaning and severaltimes personally insulted me after continually interruping me. Save yourself the headache and money and go to a professional business

I joined the Midtown location a month ago when I moved to Atlanta for work. This place is great! Most important, it can work to any level. Some guys fight semi-professionally, others are totally new. I came to Atlanta in decent shape, and in the month that Ive been coming three times a day, both my cardio and muscle mass improved. I used to go to crossfit, and I see the beneits and the drawbacks...Bangkok Fitness is better! I like Bolos class particularly.

I came in after seeing the offer for a free month.. which I think is still going on. There are quite a few classes that you can try out such as Muay Thai, kickboxing, bjj. The first workout left me hurting for almost a week I have to admit that it does get better and the trainers are awesome. I learned some great tricks for stopping shin splints and getting rid of cramps during cardio.
