Our boys started training at X3 at a young age, and I can’t express how much it has helped them in life, and with their athletics. The instructors always went above and beyond to guide, coach and assist throughout all stages of their learning experiences. We’ve tried out some other spots over the years, but none have come close to giving the level of instruction, trust, or support of X3 Sports. With their many locations, we were able to train in various parts of the city with world renown athletes. My wife and I started training there as well, and it truly added a spark to our relationship and some definition and endurance we had been missing in our lives. Their classes are great for exercise, stress relief, as well as improving your technique. The private lessons we bought, for one on one training, really was worth the investment for our two boys and ourselves. Our family would highly recommend X3 Sports, for anyone looking to get in great shape, while having fun doing it. Thank you X3 Sports, and all your amazing trainers and staff, for all that you’ve done for our family over the years, we are truly grateful! You’re definitely a 5 Star organization!🙏🏼Kindest Regards,The Clem’s

While I loved my time at X3 sports in 2019 (yes over a year and a half ago), DO NOT JOIN IF YOU WANT YOUR MONEY! I have attempted for the past year and a half to cancel my membership and they are STILL charging me. They switched financial companies as soon as I tried to cancel the first time, I called the facility and spoke directly with them within the allotted time to cancel my membership, and nothing happened. I have been charged the $116 per month for the past year and a half without my permission. Also, I was told they put notes in my file and they did not keep a record. They want your money no matter what and will do anything, including go behind your back, to keep it. NOT WORTH IT!!

I’ve never had a gym experience like the one I’ve had at X3 Sports. The personalities of the people who work here are warm, welcoming, and non-judgemental, and it’s so easy to immediately click with them. The classes themselves are also accommodating and you aren’t made to feel bad if you need a breather— this means a lot to me as someone who is anxious about getting in shape.I’ve only taken kickboxing classes as of right now but with the amenities they have, I plan to take full advantage of my new membership 😍All in all, I’m so glad that I joined here rather than at Planet Fitness like I was originally planning to!(Special shout-out to Eddie and Coach Rica bc they rock)

I trained with X Sports over the course of almost 2 months and they were nothing short of amazing. Steve, Mike, Tony, John, David and many more gave me so much support that I felt comfortable being able to not only defend myself but I got into the ring and had official fight after my training. This was always a dream of mine and I’m so glad I was able to do it with such a supportive team of people. I would recommend anybody who is looking to take them selves to that next level mentally and physically to X.3 Sports.

Great friendly trainers and staff. However the lack of space, focus on group exercise, and limited hours make it difficult to come in and work out on a limited or odd schedule. While the staff is very eager to sign you up for a membership, there is a lack of transparency about what will happen when you eventually part ways with this gym.Youll be told nobody can help you with membership cancellation, then you will be provided a lovely 1-888...... phone number to wait on hold for several minutes. Eventually someone answers, and they are very helpful in providing you with details about your membership that were probably not mentioned when signing up. Good Luck!

When I first signed up for a membership, I specifically asked if there was a cancellation fee. Bruce who signed me up said that there was not, but there was an initial sign-up fee (which was expensive as well I might add). I was told the membership would be charged month to month and I could cancel anytime. I 100% know I asked this because I’ve been to many gyms over my lifetime and have been surprised with crazy cancellation fees, so it’s always one of my first questions when deciding upon a new gym. The gym is great if you’re into group fitness classes like kickboxing and boxing, but the weight section is very small and underwhelming. After a few months of membership and the gym being closed 12-4pm due to covid restrictions, I realized it wasn’t fitting my needs in terms of equipment and open availability (I prefer to work out midday). When I reached out to cancel, I was informed I’d have to pay a $392 fee to cancel the membership (apparently half of the remaining one year membership in combined monthly charges). $392 is a ridiculously high number to cancel a membership for a gym. I told them about how I asked if there was a cancellation fee, but they said I must be mistaken.Secondly, when I first reached out to cancel the membership, X3 told me it was cost $392. For that amount of money, I needed to think a little about my decision. In the two weeks I was putting off my decision, I was charged my normal $99 for the monthly membership. Not mad about that since I didn’t confirm the cancellation for the membership. What I am mad about is when I reached out to Deb today to confirm my cancellation, I specifically mentioned in the e-mail, TWICE, that I had been charged my $99 monthly rate since I first reached out so half of the remaining balance for cancellation should be lower than $392 now. However, I think she either didn’t see or disregarded my mention on it in the e-mail because I was charged the whole $392. I feel cheated and honestly disgusted on how hard and expensive it was to get out of a membership. Especially during covid and the gym only being open half the hours a day. I’d only join this gym if you’re serious about it and guarantee you’ll keep the membership for the whole duration of your membership length.

Fantastic Gym. Been a member since 2016. The staff is awesome, the instructors are great too! They do a great job teaching form and getting you a good workout. However, the management this year has been infuriating. The main reason I signed up for this gym was that late classes were offered Monday through Thursday. That is, until they cut down the schedule. As an X1 (lowest tier) member, the latest class they now offer is 6:45PM. This was a total bait and switch as they made this change after I was locked into their 12 month contract. The new schedule means all the classes are packed, and makes the bad parking situation even worse.I’ve tried talking to management about these issues, but they either ignore emails or just say they are going to add back classes next month (for three months straight). To their credit, they are adding back one set of kickboxing classes, but only on Monday Wednesday. There are not nearly as many options as there were when I signed my contract. It’s just not the gym that it used to be.

When I finally tried the Inman Park location last week, all of the employees were extremely helpful and kind. He took the time out of his day to give us a quick tour of the whole gym before class started. Ive had fabulous interactions with the staff at both locations Ive been to and the classes are great!! Overall great gym. Very versatile in that it offers many types of fitness classes, with well trained instructors, that would appeal to members from any background—beginner or avid athlete. There’s enough free weight equipment outside of this as well in a separate area for those who want to strictly lift weights whenever they would like. Class wise, I enjoy kickboxing the most (for the cardio). Fast track is a circuit training class that is fun also. They even offer rolling and yoga. For the price, you can’t beat it.

This is the hardest, best thing I have ever done. I frequent the Inman Park location and its one of my favorite places to be. The staff is friendly, helpful and wonderful. Before I started this gym, I read a few negative reviews about cost or billing, but I find both to be non-issues. Sure, we are on a budget, but the cost is more than worth the results. This is a gym membership you will actually USE. The instructors and staff are knowledgeable and wont hesitate to help you. They are as invested in your success as you are, which is a great feeling. It can be an intense workout, but theres no cliques or intimidation. Everyone- from newbies to people that have been doing this forever- struggle a bit. X3 sports has great coaches and training programs. But they will lie to you to get you to sign a contract. Please make sure you read the contract before signing. (Yes we all know this, but who actually does it). They told my husband he could go month to month and could stop payments anytime he wanted. But they had him sign a one year contract unbeknownst to him. After a few months of training there, he went in said he wanted to stop payments so they ‘froze his account’ Then payments started happening again. He went in again and was told he would be reimbursed for that mistake next month. Next month he was charged again. So he goes in and they tell him in order to break his contract it would be $300. Contract?! What contract? Yep, they pull out a document signed by him, a one year contract. The good thing is we are moving (which is one way to get out of the contract 🙌) but after hours of arguing and phone calls made to their reps, we couldn’t argue a signed contract and obviously were not reimbursed our months and months of fees when we weren’t even using the gym. And this is not your typical L.A. fitness deal. They are very pricey!

I gave it a shot and sent both a FB message and website inquiry at 10P the night before (I like to have these kind of arrangements made well in advance, but this was a last minute thing) and within minutes, literally, I had a welcoming reply. ON THE OTHER HAND when you attempt to LEAVE is when theres a HUGE problem. Theyve constructed this super convoluted exit process that forced me into paying for months that I did not go to the gym after calling well in advance multiple times and emailing back and forth. While I moved cross country to San Fran and they demanded that I print and send documents while everything i owned was in a box to verify my move, while charging my account! They also claimed to have sent a cancellation email, which I never received. Also while on the phone I found out that the person signing me up entered me into a 20 month agreement. So now I am left to deal with the membership fees and the relocation fees...

This was my first experience doing martial arts since I was 9 years oldPROS:-flexible locations, you can go to any and try out different instructors you like-facilities relatively clean-instructors and staff working facilities are fairly nice and professional-some instructors I found to be very goodNEUTRAL:-most of the instructors are pretty good in my opinion. 75% of them I liked. The only ones I didnt like were ones that had never competed or stepped into a ring. Some of those guys might have been ok for some basic stuff or people who want to lose weight but overall some I think they thought a bit too highly of their fighting/teaching abilities.-there were some big names coming from UFC but those instructors I didnt find to be superior to ones who had competed in local promotions. If they fought better, it didnt seem to transfer in their ability to instruct/teach. Often these guys were riding on the prestige of the UFC and were not nearly as good as some guys who had done smaller fights (though with stellar records)CONS-little emphasis on wrestling in MMA. All BJJ sparing starts on the ground, which is unrealistic and not even how it works in sport BJJ. But if you want to eventually try sparring for real MMA full rules or even competing, youre out of luck with the offerings here unless you wrestled in high school. Honestly X3 should be able to find someone to teach a wrestling class in the ATL area. BJJ is focused towards sports ju jitsu and not really MMA or even street fights-There should be an MMA class that bridges everything, instead of treating all the disciplines in isolation-You are locked into a yearlong contract which the company who manages gave me a hard time about providing insurance documentation instead of a drivers license after I moved to a different city. There is a cancellation fee of approximately one months worth of membership. It seems a little scammyOverall Id say if I could do it again I would have tried a month-to-month option

The coaches and clients all help to push each other but no matter what your fitness level youll find support from everybody. Its a cool thing to get to see. Ive seen the toughest, most physically fit athletes get pushed to the brink while in the same workout the person who literally just stepped off the street for the first time feels at home and comfortable as they get used to working at this level. Pros: Great price for unlimited classes, available often throughout the day, with a variety of trainers who emphasis a variety of different skills. A weights and aerobic room is also available all open hours. Locker room with showers has also been great.Cons: 12 month contracts with rough penalties to exit the contract (pay half of whats left, and you have to cancel at least 3 days before your billing date to not be charged for next month). It can get very busy in the evening classes. And the level of enthusiasm or knowledge of fitness/athletic training (nor lack of) can greatly vary amount the trainers or managers, so I definitely pick the classes I attend based on the trainers.Overall, if you can commit to a 12 month contract, and want a variety of high intensity classes, its worth it.

Some classes allow for individual coaching and drills, and it is always an energetic environment and great community. I had never tried combat sports before and recommend X3 highly!

Pretty good trainers and a good crowd. However, if you need to cancel for any reason, you should definitely expect to be held to the fire for the monthly payments on however much is left on your contract. I recently incurred a bad finger injury, which will put me out for at least 6th months.Needing to free up some funds, I had to cancel my climbing gym membership (very easy), as well as my x3 membership. I was told I would need to provide proof that I am injured and have an upcoming surgery (yet to be scheduled). In other words, they are gonna get their money, and you better have a pretty good excuse for cancelling, or they will see to it that you pay out your contract.Hearing this from them, I can guarantee I will not re-join this gym when I get done with rehabbing my hand, and I will make sure anyone I know of thinking of joining this gym understands that money comes before members here.As for me, until I can get my finger surgery scheduled and come up with that money, Im being forced to pay $100 a month for a gym I cant use at all.

The instructors are awesome - really personal and take the time to make sure everyone is using the correct technique. Plus, its the best work out Ive ever gotten from a group class.

I am a member at the Inman Park location and workout there primarily, but I have also worked out at the Midtown location as well a few times. The atmosphere and people is what makes this place so dope. This is hands down the best gym Ive been to. Ive belonged/worked for a fair share of gyms and none of them compare to X3.I love a gym that I can go to and get it in and go hard without all the bs. And on top of that, I can not only do those things when I come in and lift on my own, but I can also get that with the classes they offer. The staff is a legit group of people and in turn because of that, the people who choose to get a membership already know about what to expect. So that creates a culture of people who come in ready to work and not bs around. Not to say its only exclusive to the hardcore gym goers. Ive also seen people who come in and are still a little intimidated or not in the best of shape and fit right in as well and not be isolated or singled out.All in all, X3 is a great place to work out and just to be. 💯💯💯

I went to their Muay Thai class. Honestly and unfortunately it was the worst Muay Thai class I have taken. I have trained in 3 other gyms both in Europe and the USA. At x3 there was no stretching or warm up before we started to do Muay Thai which is quite irresponsible and can make people who aren’t experienced get injured. Also the instructor kept trying to chit chat with me and my friend when we were in the middle of doing the drills he wasn’t giving feedback just telling us about British Muay Thai fighters. Further he was very bad at teaching anything he simply kept showing the move without explaining the body movements or the places were we should pay attention to not go wrong. Finally my friend was new to Muay Thai and he didn’t even take the time to teach her the basics which then I had to do. In general there was very little attention to technique, the instructor was mostly distracting and sometimes on his phone, and the care for physical wellness was none.

Justin aka Carrot is AMAzing...I wanted to pass out from his kickboxing class but I felt rejuvenated. I just signed up one of my sons for boxing and he loves it. I look forward to all that X3 has to offer to get me back in shape.

FYI, they give people Perkville Points ( which are points to use towards merchandise and other items in the gym) for giving 5 star reviews!!!!!I used to love this gym- filled with great energy and solid instructors. The gyms have a super high turnover rate with their staff members mostly instructors and they have started hiring instructors with lower end training!I have been a member for over 8 months and this is the 3rd time I have encountered a super rude staff member! and it is really frustrating. When I first began my membership the instructors here kind, knowledgeable and willing to show right form, techniques, and movement. Within the last 5 months each gym has undergone major changes within their staff and the costumer service has really gone down. It looks like there is no uplifting moral within the staff, and that is transpiring into the members. I pay 115 a month, that on the high side of gym memberships, comparable to Orange Theory, Fly Wheel, Fit Wit, and other higher end gyms in the area. I joined X3 because I felt the energy was real and had a solid staff for a solid gym. I felt disrespected, and dishonored by a place that has Real Trainingin their motto.I believed in the gym, and did share referrals and brought people in. However it cant be just a sales tactic, its not all about the money, since members can just leave and never comeback. Great Relationships build great work and success! From other members as well its comical that you are offering Perkville points for 5 star ratings, when the gyms have deserved 2 stars these past few months. Your members wont market you if you dont believe in them and your team!

First the BJJ classes here are amazing, the instructors are awesome and great for new people. The other students really help you out too. I learned so much already, its great. Kickboxing class is an excellent cardio work out and you can set your own pace. I like the fact you can go to any X3 gym in the city (but check their individual schedules) but its a bit pricey. I reccomend taking multiple classes and getting your moneys worth. They have drinks and snacks you can buy which is cool.Really really disappointed in the boxing coach here. He doesnt actually teach anything. Ive had 5-6 boxing lessons before at another boxing gym in the past. They first teach you foot work, then the proper way to jab, proper way to cross ect.. Here he just expects you to just know the combinations and just do it. It will not help you progress, just develop bad habits.Havent had a chance to take the Muay Thai class but it looks really detailed with lots of sparring (huge plus) They train competition fighters here but no one looks like they are trying to kill each other. They have a big work out room open anytime during hours which is cool, bathrooms and showers are clean. So 3.5 over allEven if you are already in shape, or martial arts as a sport isnt your thing. I reccomend everybody taking some kind of self defense. Never know when it will save your life one day.

X3 is a great place! Everyone is there to work hard and get results. There is no judgement from trainers of other members as long as youre doing work. Its very diverse racially and in terms of gender. I dont feel looked down on for being a woman in a mma/boxing gym. Rafael is the best!

I LOOOOVVVVEEEEEEE X3 Sports!!!!!!! I started kickboxing in February after seeing one of my friends transform her body with it over the course of about a year. She went to a different gym, but I had just been through a breakup and wanted a healthy distraction that would help me look good (revenge body amiright). I googled kickboxing and signed up for a free class at X3 for that week......I didnt realize I was about to change my life!! I signed up to be a member that day and have been coming several times a week since then. I am totally addicted to kickboxing and think X3 Sports is the best workout in Atlanta!! Anytime Im feeling down, if I go to X3, my mood is completely changed. The staff and instructors are so nice and outgoing, so I always leave in a better mood with more energy than when I came in. Another thing I love is how hard it is. Kickboxing isnt a light workout! But seeing my improvement and endurance go up the more I attend class motivates me and builds my confidence. Plus all my friends think its badass that I workout with boxing gloves. Ive never paid this much per month for a gym membership, but its 100% worth it to me because the classes are unlimited and it literally brings so much good energy and happiness to my life. This is a very extra review, but I think its necessary because Im obsessed with kickboxing and it never wouldve happened if I didnt come to X3 Sports. Thanks guys!!!!!! P.S. Sorry Im late for class sometimes :)
