This is a great martial arts school with devoted teachers and a positive attitude. Its more traditional than many schools and covers a wide variety of weapons and open hand techniques. Ive been a student there for almost 20 years.

Ive been training in Tukong with Master Ali for the last 18 years. I started when I was 4 years old. Put simply, aside from my parents, there has been no other greater positive influence in my life than Tukong Moosul. Teaching respect, discipline, honesty, integrity, humility, and patience, I attribute much of my success to the incredible foundation that was built through training in Tukong. This is the best martial arts school in Austin, no competition. I highly recommend you call Master Ali and you will quickly understand why.

Tukong Moosul has helped me grow as an individual immensely. I am more connected to my physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual self. In all these way I have more control, and it has taught me much in the way of discipline and respect. I started Tukong at the verge of turning eighteen. It has been a key aspect in my journey into adulthood, and without all the vital skills and lessons it has taught me I do not think I would have been able to handle many of the hurdles I have faced so far. Master Ali is a great martial artist and a better person, and it takes only a seconds worth of observation of his skills to understand just how great he is. He is a patient and caring teacher, but also strict and serious when appropriate. This sort of yin and yang present in Master Alis teaching is the perfect reflection of the internal and external aspect of our style. I have been training consistently here13+ years now and it has been and continues to be what I expect and look for in a martial art, well rounded, non-competition based, traditional system and isnt a belt factory testing just to test.Weapons, forms, sparring and a mix of both soft and hard movement with focus on effective techniques that build organic movement are all there.
