I love this place and the teachers here are amazing! They are so kind and really listen to what we want for our daughter. I don’t think our daughter would be excelling as fast as she is without the support of her teachers at this daycare. We looked at tons of different daycares and we really felt like this one was more like a home than the others. When we have our next child, we’ll definitely be bringing them here.

My 15 month old son has been going to Barton Creek Infant Center since he was 3 months old. We love the staff! Ms. Sarah and Ms. Brandi in the nursery classroom were amazing!! They were so great with welcoming us into the nursery and caring for my son for those first few months away from me. He is now in the toddler classroom with Ms. Vanessa. He is using baby sign language to communicate and is learning his colors and shapes! My son is obsessed with being outside, and the Barton Creek outdoor play area is awesome! It has lots of trees to keep the area shaded and tons of toys to push around and play with! The price is great for the quality of the program. My son and I are very happy here!

Love love LOVE this place! My daughter has been attending since January when she turned 4 months old. Every morning, we are greeted by Miss Jenny, the infant center director, with smiles and she is SO nice and helpful. Shes constantly present and helping out the teachers, loving on the babies, everywhere all at once - just absolutely wonderful. My daughter loves her current teachers: Miss Nelly and Miss Dio. Sometimes, other teachers help out too - seems like they have some great teamwork at this place. Its a very friendly and welcoming environment and we are so glad we chose this place!I also love the owner, Elizabeths, involvement - shes very easy to work with, communicates with us if we have any questions or concerns, and has done a fabulous job building this daycare. Cant say enough good things :)

We enrolled our son in 2013 May when we moved to Bee Cave. We love the school, staff and the director. Our son really got adjusted pretty well and the care given to him throughout has made him grow really well. He started to quickly talk and also get potty trained with proper assistance given to him.He thouroughly enjoy the nice outdoor play they have which is well shaded and is very good overall.Staff is really good and you could ask your concerns and the teacher quickly helps guide the child. There little parties are great, and my son absolutely love them.

My little one loves Barton Creek and I love them too! It feels like home bc it is a home and the teachers have been a huge support system since day one. As a new mom, I have a lot of questions and his teachers always listen and are so supportive though all of the transitions as he has grown over the last year. Thank you, BCCDC, for being part of our village!

Our daughter has been there 2 years now (since she was 3 months old) and we have been extremely pleased. The staff is wonderful and we feel so comfortable knowing she is in such a caring environment and learning so many new things. She is very excited to go to school, which makes it so much easier to leave her there every day. My husband and I cannot recommend BCCDC enough.

Our daughter has attended BCCDC since she was 3 months old (now almost 2 yrs), and we are so grateful to her teachers at the school. She is excited to get there in the morning, and having so much fun when we pick her up.All of the teachers truly care and love the children, and my daughter is very happy to see them each morning (Especially Ms. Jenny! She is amazing!).I also appreciate that they do so much outside play time. That is one reason we chose BCCDC in the first place.

My 4 year old grandson has been attending BCCDC since he was 3 months old! Let me start out by saying he received the absolute best care from all the staff while at the infant center for the first 2 years. He , along with his classmates, learned how to crawl, walk, talk, eat, and socialize in a very caring , loving ,and well maintained atmosphere. He is now in the Preschool building and it amazes me to see how much he is learning. He has been through all the classes and has formed strong bonds with a lot of classmates and all the incredible staff! He has just moved up to the Pre-k class and I am very impressed with how well Ms.Emily prepares the children for Kindergarten! We will definitely miss BCCDC next year and I’m already stressing a little over the change that I know is inevitable , But until then , I know my grandson is well taken care of and loved here!

My wife and I put our almost 2 yr old twins in BCCDC and we all love it! They were so patient with my son who took a while to get comfortable with the new situation and now he is much better with new people and places. Brandi and the rest off the staff are kind loving people who really care about our whole family. The owner Liz really worked with us as childcare for twins is not cheap. We really can’t say enough positive things about this place and the people who work there. We love you !Glenn, Erin, Mason and Zoey Morris

Oh my, where do I begin!!? There are so many WONDERFUL things Id like to say about this child development center.ive been with them for 5 years now. First Ill tell you about myself. I am a mom of three children. Two of which have gone to Barton Creek since they were babies. My oldest child didnt go to Barton Creek (we hadnt found the gem yet). We use lots of different daycare options as well as I hired a nanny for a couple of years, and I also used a in-home daycare at a neighbors house all of which were unsatisfying for different reasons. The bigger chain day cares are run by a corporate office that has little influence over who they hire and or the day to day goings-on. What I found in the larger day cares was that the employees were coming and going very frequently which is very hard on our children. Also, they were not necessarily the greatest people. I believe they probably paid these employees poorly and well, we all know that you get what you pay for.My nanny worked well for a while but there was always something going on as to why she couldnt come and I have to be reliable at my job. The unreliability of having a nanny became an issue that was no longer an option for me because of my work commitments. Day care started looking like a better option because they are reliable. The in-home daycare with a neighbor worked pretty well but her prices were way more than I was able to afford. It wasnt until I found Barton Creek Child Development Center that I finally felt like I could rest at ease knowing that my two youngest were being cared for as though they were family.Since we started at the infant center 5 years ago I have been VERY pleased with my childrens care there. Its run by a wonderful caring woman who has raised children herself. She is VERY involved with all the goings-on in the day to day happenings of her businesses. Shes personable and kind, understanding and is a good leader. She is a small business owner and small business owners care because it is their life blood. She has hand picked her teachers and done an AMAZING job with that. I LOVED MY TEACHERS!! And she must be good to work for because they dont leave. Its been the same core group for 5 years. Maybe longer thats just as long as Ive been there. Its very comforting to see how incredibly interested the teachers are in the children. This has been my experience. Ive been a mom now for 13 years and I can tell you it all boils down to the teachers. The buildings dont matter, the extracurricular activities dont matter, the technology doesnt matter, the bells and whistles dont matter. At this age nothing matters except are the teachers kind and engaged? Do they love on your children and make them feel safe? All of the teachers that I have had at Barton Creek child development center have been outstanding!! And now as I reach my very last month of needing their services I literally am in tears. Im so sad to leave as my youngest daughter is starting kindergarten in the fall. But I have to tell you guys anyone who is reading this I promise you if you and trust these people with your children you will feel safe and you will know youve made a good choice. They care about your children, they love your children, theyre engaged in your children and they become part of your family.Hats off to all of you guys!!! Im so glad I found you! Thank you for caring for my girls all these years as if they were your own!!!!

One of the greatest things about this daycare to me is that most of the staff are mothers. Having mothers watch my son gives me peace of mind that he is taken care of properly. After going to several other daycares this is the perfect one to me.

Full review on Yelp.My son attended BCCDC for a total of 3 days before I left in tears and refused to take him back. When I did my tour I made it clear that he is breastfed and so he would need to be pace fed so that he did not over eat. They acted like this would not be a problem and they seemed more than willing to work with me on what my needs and requests were.Day 1 When I went to pick him up they had over fed him a bit but I had expected this until we got the routine down. I was also assured that once Sarah, his main teacher was back, that it would be better.Day 2 - Sarah is back, I drop him off and about 2.5-3 hours later get a call that he is refusing to eat his bottle (hes never done this before). I tell them maybe the bottle is bad so try the next one I prepared and call me back. They called back a little while later and said hes still refusing, so I rushed up there to breastfeed him. When I got there he grabbed onto me so hard and would not let go, he seemed so upset and he is typically an extremely happy baby, even when left with others. While I was breastfeeding my son they were giving the other babies their bottles as well, they laid 3 of them on Boppy pillows, handed them their bottle, and made them feed themselves. One 6 month old little girl was playing with her bottle instead of eating and the teacher took it away and said if youre just going to play you arent going to get to eat. SHES 6 MONTHS OLD! After I fed him I went back to work and then picked him up a few hours later. They had again over fed him and I talked with the teacher and stressed paced feeding and she said she would do that but once he got into the older room, which was soon, then he would have to feed himself. I did not want him feeding himself and told them this but they kind of brushed it off.Day 3 I called to check on him a few times and they said he was a little fussy but not too bad. However, when I went to pick him up the first thing I noticed when I picked him up out of the Bumbo he was sitting in crying was that he had a poopy diaper and it was on his clothes. I alerted one of the staff members and she took him from me and changed him, so Im not sure how long he had been like that. While she was changing him I looked at his daily chart and they became extremely upset. They had fed him a 3 1/2 oz bottle in 5 minutes (which is not possible when pace feeding) and then immediately after decided he was still hungry (because they didnt pace feed) and gave him 3 more oz! 6 1/2 oz within 10 minutes when he does 3-4 at most at a time! They then tried to give him another 4 oz bottle less than 2 hours later, he would only take 2 1/2 oz of that, BECAUSE HE WASNT HUNGRY, and the other 1.5 oz disappeared. Then, an hour after he only took the 2.5 oz, they gave him another bottle of 3 oz! That equates to 12 oz in less than 5 hours when I specifically said 1-1.5 oz an hour. I explained to the center manager that this was unacceptable and that I had given specific instructions that were clearly ignored. She said she would talk with the teacher and it just takes time to figure each baby out, no breastfed 5 month old should have 12 oz in 5 hours!Clearly BCCDC does not understand that the parents requests should be honored, its hard enough leaving your child in the care of someone else but when they refuse to listen to your requests it causes mamma bear to come out. That night my son was extremely fussy, had a terrible stomach ache, and then spiked another 103 fever. He also became so attached to me I could not even leave him with my husband. He had never been like that before but he seemed traumatized from his 3 day ordeal of daycare. They also kept my $100 deposit despite me having issues with the care so I spent a total of $395 to have my son cared for for 3 days. Avoid this place, especially if you have feeding requirements!

We absolutely love BCCDC. When my daughter was seven months old we transferred her from BCCDC to The Childrens Courtyard thinking it would be better because they had tile floors and more room to crawl. TCC had such a high turnover (six teachers in three months) we transferred her back to BCCDC as soon as they had an opening. BCCDC made some renovations and now have laminate flooring in all of their centers. BCCDC does not have a high turnover. They retain their teaching staff. My five year old just finished pre-K and is ready to start kindergarten. She is able to read sight words, read and write all of her letters and numbers. She has taken swimming lessons in their summer program and now can swim safely! We really love all the extracurricular activities as well Sport Ball, Dance and Karate.

Currently my daughter attends BCCDC, and we really love it. She has been there since she is 3 months old and all her teachers have been very dedicated and affectionate to her. We have seen all his progress together, he learned to sit, crawl, walk and now we are learning words and following instructions.
