I have my 7 month old in the infant class and I am very pleased with the care he has been receiving. His teachers have been great, keeping him fed, changed, rested and happy. He seems to really like it there. Its a sweet little preschool.

My son has attended Kinney Avenue since he was 12 weeks old and we are so happy there! His teachers love him and now he is getting to an age where I can really see him learning things. One day he showed me how he knows to sit cross legged and bounced up and down saying “sit sit sit” and he is only 18 months. Recently he loved learning about the senses and parts of the face. Knowing themes they are learning helps us teach him things at home. He goes 2 days a week and the scheduling and pricing options make it perfect for families with non traditional schedules who don’t need or want care every day.

Prior to moving to Austin we googled daycare/preschools in the area we thought we wanted to live and prior to visiting we put our daughters name down to enter into the summer session! Now 9 months later we are still at Kinney Avenue! The staff is amazing and all of our daughters teachers are so wonderful! We have been so thankful and appreciative of this school and could not ask for anything better/more for our daughter! She learns way more here than we could ever give her at home! They incorporate Jesus in what they do and it is so amazing. Even though we have other childcare options that doesn’t require us to have to put her in full time preschool we will always send her here at least part time because of how much she learns and thrives in this environment! We will also send all future kids to this school as well! Thank you Kinney Avenue for all you do!

I dont normally write reviews but today I happened to see the one star review awarded to this preschool by someone whose children dont even attend. I feel this is deeply unfair to KACP. My sons both attend and I can tell you that we have been more than happy with the nurturing and loving environment provided by all the teachers. In particular, the pre-K classes are outstanding and the teachers put in an amazing amount of effort for weekly themed activities. Around the time of their (super cute) Christmas show, we were walking the boys into school and a local woman who was a parishioner of the church stopped us in the street. She wanted to assure us she knew the director very well and that we could be confident in the fact that they genuinely love our children. And I believe that absolutely. Five stars.

I would never allow my children to attend this preschool daycare. I work right next to the preschool’s playground and I appalled by what I hear. There is an instructor that tells very rudely and aggressively at the children when they do not listen. Things like “GET OVER HERE RIGHT NOW!!!” Dealing with children can be frustrating; however, they are human too and deserve to be treated as such. Unacceptable. This happens frequently enough that I felt compelled to share with our community.
