This is an outstanding program that emphasizes safe training. The people are friendly and welcoming to newcomers. The class has a really nice atmosphere. Its well worth checking out!

Amazing instruction! I cannot stress how great it is to learn from Shihan Paul. The atmosphere is conducive to learning because of the stress on safety, friendship, and understanding. If you are reading this you should definitely check it out!

I am profoundly grateful to have been able to train in this dojo in Bloomington. Paul Laudeman Sensei is an incredibly competent instructor who is a joy to learn from. This style of Aikido has a clear focus on what is martially effective. Everyone on the mat is helpful and encouraging, and the dojo here is really like a family. I encourage everyone who is interested in martial arts to come by for a class.

Hello my name is Quentin Craft and I have been going to the BloomingtonDOJO for about a year now on and off, been out for some unexpected injuries and shoulder problems, But I am back in the swing of things now, And I have enjoyed learning AIKIDO from Sensei Paul Laudeman because he is a great teacher and also a good friend, all the Aikidoca there are so very helpful with all the different aspects of the Martial Art we are learning. I have been interested in learning some kind of self-defense for some time and have been looking over the web at different schools and styles to fit my needs for the type of work that I do. We in the EMS field need a way to protect ourselves without harming our patients so this has become a perfect fit for that need and I have fallen in love with the Art and the People as well, if you’re in the Bloomington area check it out! You will get fit and have some fun and learn a great self-defense martial art and become a better Rounded person.
