Im 16-years-old and have been going to this dojo for the past four years. And I have to say, Ive loved every bit of it. Im definitely pushed, a lot of times to my limit, but the people here encourage you to do more, to try harder, and thats honestly amazing. Lopez Jiu-Jitsu is like my second home, and the people there are all my family.Its an amazing place, great for any age. Definitely would recommend training here.

I have trained at a handful of facilities and would recommend program above the rest no contest. I have friends that trained only for a brief time with Master Lopez and remember his instructions with detail. Its life changing self defense, the best cardio/core workout and one of the most rewarding sports I have ever done. I recommend without hesitation.

I have been training with Professor Chris Lopez for the last 6 or 7 years. His instruction is second to none in technique and correctness. I am a husband and father of 5. Im 42 years old, have a career so I am NOT interested in getting hurt. But I do want to compete in the AWESOME sport of Jiu Jitsu at a high level, stay fit, and push myself. Chris and my Nova Uniao teammates push me to train as hard as I want without me having to worry about some ego maniac tearing my arm off. I have been fortunate to have won many local tournaments, an amateur MMA fight, as well as national and even International tournaments like the Pan American Games. Not to say you have to compete!, it is a phenomenal workout for physical fitness and personal protection as well.
