Trenz Academy is an affordable school with individuals of color. They have allowed me flexibility in getting my license and my instructors have been very supportive and informative. I’ve also met some nice women to network with in the future. You are in control of your future here and you are given everything needed to become your own boss.

Trenz Academy is the only structured Beauty School that I have enjoyed working with. Ms. Payton, the owner and my new mentor, has encouraged and helped all of her students to become your own BO$$. Come and let us pave the way. We can do it together!! CONGRATS ON 12 YEARS of licensing professional.

My experience was not the best the owner of the school has a really bad attitude. I had 3 arguments with her based on my graduation date (which no one knew expect me), about the environment being too chaotic and hard to focus, and about how rude she is. I never received a certificate of completion. When I was given a grant I received less than the amount I was supposed to receive. It was hard getting my transcript when completed and when it was given it was the wrong information so I had to get another transcript for my program. I thank God for the one instructor I did have to help me get through the program because during my duration of the time I was there all the instructors was quitting back to back. The environment was very hard to focus due to students talking loudly , arguing , & interrupting the instructors. I learned best online studying away from the drama at the school. It seemed as though the owner of the school was so focused on making smoothies then the care of her school. The school has bad energy in it. I do not recommend this school to any one. Im really heart broken because I spent my hard earned money on my refresher course because this school is black owned but I honestly wish I went to another school. The only good thing from the school was the Esthetics instructor Ms.Angie really does a wonderful job doing despite how over worked she was take care of their clients. There was also no janitor in the school so all the students had to keep up with maintenance in the school. I would be very mindful of selecting this school if you have no where else to attend then go for it but make this your last option.

I recently completed the nail technology program here on 9-24-20 and I must say I didn’t learn nothing except for what not do with my own businesses, however I do understand why most of us will attend this academy (it’s affordable) And besides the academy also accepts financial aid, but the amount of intensity, disrespectful-ness stress and unorganized environment this place is I DO NOT RECOMMEND this place. If I had to give my advice I would say find you a school that you can actually learn from and that have instructors. The owner is NOT professional at all and all she’s actually cares about is her self, she accepts us to control us and to drive us into giving up!
