Revolution is my home away from home. Professors Dinko and Alex up at the Cypress/Copperfield location teach clearly and concisely. My family’s activities are mostly centered in Katy, but on the occasion when we’ve been able to make it to this location for kids’ class, my 3 boys loved training with Professor Alex.As a woman, and a relatively small woman, feeling safe and respected in a training environment is of the utmost importance to me. With 2 female black belts at the top of the hierarchy at Revolution, it is the best gym in the Houston area for women to train, and Friday nights in Cypress is women’s class, led by Professors Gabi and/or Veronica. The instruction is top notch, we get to focus on how women’s bodies move and respond, and the camaraderie of being in a group of women who all train - whether it’s their 1st day or 1,000th day - makes Friday nights the best night of the week.

Clean, plenty of mat space, and a variety of classes. This gym is great for both competitors or hobbyist. As a female, I try to attend the ladies classes on Friday nights where there are two female black belt professors - this class is great whether you are just starting off or you are an experienced bjjer wanting to learn more female specific training. Ive been training for three years - coming from a different team- revolutions community has been like no other. They are super inviting, friendly and they train hard.Im thankful to be a part of this team!

I really enjoy the expert instruction the school offers. My daughter who is 16 attends with me during the week and the Women’s class on Fridays. She looks forward to the women’s class where she has other women who lead her and make friends. I wanted to train for years but I never found a dojo close to my area of cypress till now who had legitimate Professors. Now I found the right dojo and the instruction I always wanted. The environment is welcoming and the other students look out for each other. You will never feel embarrassed or out of place.

My son John Jr has trained at this location several times. I like that it’s very clean and has a nice look but mainly because Dinko is an awesome Professor. My son has worked with him for years. He is awesome with kids, very patient and at the same time the kids listen and don’t play around. I wish John could work more with Dinko but I can’t make the early classes.If you’re looking to train jiujitsu and in the Cypress/Bear Creek area, this is the right school. You will love it. You won’t find a better home.

Best Brazilian Jiu Jitsu gym in town. Our entire family trains there, from the 3-5 yr old class to the 5+ kids class to the adults class, and you will not find a better dojo! I recently moved from out of state, looked around but when I found this gym it stuck. Revolution Dojo has a very welcoming and friendly team as well as group of instructors. My little sister, age 8, also loves this gym and coaches. There are some amazing people running the gym and training here. My experience at Revolution Dojo has been great. Ive been training for over 6 years, this place is another legit dojo, part of the Revolution family in Katy/Houston. The professors are black belts with many years of experience and awards won in battle. Feel free to stop by and visit, try it out no matter what age. I am over 50!

This is a great place to train BJJ. Coach Dinko is a top competitor, but just as important he is an excellent teacher. He teaching style is straightforward and easy to understand. This has to be one of the best Brazilian jiu jitsu gym in town. I went to another gym to try out before this one and on my first day at Revolution Dojo I knew this will be the place for me. The coaches here are the best and the people who train are friendly and welcoming. The coaches and teammates want you to be better, grow, and improve day by day. The support you will get here is great and they treat you like a teammate and family. Another reason I came here is that as a military veteran it is nice to support my head coach, Jeff Messina, who is still serving in the armed forces. This is a great gym for military veterans.
