Las year I was very happy. Kids had lots of outdoor time. Therese (the director) once talked to me about how much little kids need and love outdoor play. They only go once a day outdoors and it is at the hottest part of the day. I don’t know what’s going on now. Lately when I email Rashida she takes several days to get back to me. Also try leaving voice messages because the phone is not ever answered by anyone when I call. It’s frustrating to have some communication with the school. I also email the director and don’t hear back either. They want me to message the teacher. Is not the teacher supposed to take care of the kids, instead of answering messages? I’m sad and disappointed. At least my kids say they love the teachers.

Both of our kids have attended here since preschool and they love it. It is a safe, nurturing, kind environment that feels like a true community. Both are doing well and demonstrate learning above their grade level. I wouldn’t want my children to go anywhere else. The school does a wonderful job of including art, music, and nature with the normal subjects and works with the kids at their own level to help them learn in a way that works for them. During this time with COVID the teachers did an amazing job of transitioning to all online teaching within a week of the change and it worked well for both kids. We are so glad to have the opportunity for our kids to learn at this school and they can’t wait to get back to all in person learning there.

Both of my daughters have been here since they were around three months old. As a career educator (teacher, administrator and consultant), I try to temper my expectations and desires for my childrens school experience with an understanding of what the reality of classroom life is like. No need here! The teachers my girls have had are utterly devoted to children, setting clear and loving boundaries, holding them in high esteem regardless of age, and helping them develop independence and autonomy as they grow and learn the world.Every classroom/house Ive visited has the same warm, calm, joyful atmosphere as the children move through their work with a sense of purpose and clear compassion for one another and their teachers. I joke with my friends that I have the only kid who cries at pickup! She always wants to stay a little longer, and is full of stories at home of the adventures she had at school. As a working parent, the peace of mind I have knowing that my daughters are here all day is invaluable. I know that they are well-looked after, challenged, and loved. The teachers, school director, and office manager are proactive and communicative, and its been a joy to be part of this community of families and educators for going on three years.

My daughter started here when she was just 18 months old. She is now entering her 4th grade year at 9 years old. I cant say enough great things about this school. At the conclusion of her third grade year, the students had to take a standardized test. She tested off the charts with her aptitude in every subject being SEVERAL grades higher. And as proud as I am about the incredible progress she has made Im most happy that she has developed a love of learning that will last a lifetime. That alone is worth every dime in tuition.
