I recently had the good fortune too come across this flight school. I started out in the profession with ATP, and a couple of others throughout the country and all they were about was taking your money. Red Rock flight school is probably the most professional, most patient and most highly skilled school I have had the luxury and pleasure of attending.I have found no other flight school to match the professionalism, courtesy awesome communication, detailed structure and lesson planning that this school offers. I recently received my commercial ratings with the school on the 1st try and I would highly recommend Red Rock Flight School and would not look elsewhere at all! I am so fortunate that I came to Red Rock. Red Rock has the best instructors, and flight instruction curriculum. The owner, Jim, is an incredible teacher and pilot. He maintains that same standard of instruction with all of his staff. I love how the quality education isn’t comprised by affordability. I can’t recommend them enough!!

Red Rock Flight school is phenomenal in the way they teach and is of high-caliber quality since the owner is trained as a check airman. All the instructors are relatable and fun being around, and will describe calculus like its pre-algebra. The Airplanes are all the same class yet vary in their own special way such as better maneuverability in one while another has better lift, which makes each flight unique and fun. Oxford wishes they could be as good as Red Rock.

Great school! Very cost effective and the staff is awesome. Mom and pop ran and they make you feel part of the family. Jim and Jordie and the team do a great job making sure that you are well prepared for your tests and are getting the best experience flying! Wouldn’t want to train anywhere else!!

If you are looking to be a pilot, this is the place to be. Very family-oriented and flexible with you. Better than doing a part 141 program and more feasible.

I recently finished my private pilot training with Red Rock Flight School and have nothing but excellent things to say about their team of instructors, and finished this first milestone with great memories, friendships, and a new passion to cherish during my three months of training while off-season from the wildland fire program locally with the USFS. First responders receive a discount, too. I hope to continue my training as I can here in future off-seasons for my instrument rating and beyond. Be prepared for a commitment to studying at home, keep showing up for lessons, and the rest will take care of itself.

I have started my private pilot training last May and since then I have received a well structured training in a warm environment. I just did my first solo this morning at Red Rock Flight School. I felt very well prepared through their excellent instructors. Over my time at Red Rock I have always felt very welcomed and felt that their instructors all want to help you. They are all there to answer your questions and help you out where you need it. I have never flown in a small airplane but have always wanted to give it a try. Scheduling was a breeze and the team is easy to communicate with. I had no idea what to expect when I arrived but when I entered they were all extremely welcoming. My discovery flight was amazing and Mark was very knowledgeable. I have tried TWO other schools at KFFZ where the training was inconsistent, dual rates were charged even when I flew solo and/or the aircraft were not maintained properly. Great flight school. Did most of my training in las Vegas and they made my transition to the new air space and moving to low wing amazing.
