I worked for Ernest Merrill while he owned Minuteman Home Services.Lets just say that my job turned from Project Manager to Fireman as it was my daily workload to put out the fires that Ernie created due to his monumental lack of Remodeling knowledge.2 of 4 customers were in the process of filing or already had filed paperwork with the ROC against Minuteman Home Services. Ernie had only bad words to say about them when he spoke to me about his contracts with them. As I met with them to determine the extent of work needed to complete each persons contract I would report that information back to Ernie. The customers each told me that they never got their contracted work completed even though Ernie had gotten paid for all or most of the work contracted. I left Ernie shortly after then and was not paid for the work that I did for him during the last week that I worked for him. I heard from others that I wasnt the only person to not receive their last weeks pay from Ernie.I am cautioning anyone thinking of hiring or working for this guy to find a REPUTABLE WELL RESEARCHED CONTRACTOR. You will thank me for this advice if you research Ernest Merrill / Minuteman Home Services on the Arizona ROC list of complaints.

The Val Vista location was hands down a great experience. Every single member of the office was extremely helpful. Special thank you to Margaret and Ivonne for setting me up and providing extremely efficient service. The practice exams/learning are definitely worth it, and the relief it was for them to submit all my application paperwork to the ROC is priceless. My application was approved within about 36 hours to ROC and I couldnt have done it without your help. Thank you!

I prepared at Arizona Contractor License Center for my first contractor licenses almost two decades ago and thought they were great then. Two weeks ago I prepared there again to test for some additional licenses, and again thought they were great! Lets put it this way 96.25% out of a possible 100 on the BME.The staff are all extremely friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. If youre even considering not preparing with them before taking your contractor exams...rethink it...worth every penny!

These guys are great, they helped me prepare for my contractors licensing exam and with issues concerning my business. I was a little concerned about taking the exam, the last time I took a test like this was 16 years ago. However, after spending a little time at their facility I was extremely confident taking my exam!

Margaret Peralta and staff helped prepare me for my business and trade exams. After I successfully passed both exams on my first try, they took care of all the necessary paperwork involved with submitting my license application to the ROC. They did not overlook one bit of information and caught any little discrepancy that could have meant further delay. The best part is, they do not charge much to help you do it all. At the end, they give you a file with copies showing everything they sent to the ROC and all the fees associated with the license application, and you will see that the majority of the money you pay AZCLC was spent on paying the ROC for your license application, bond, recovery fund, etc. If you need to become licensed, this is the fastest way to go about it as there is a TON of paperwork and formalities involved. Currently waiting on ROC to either approve or deny my application (most likely approve).
