I have completed my first semester in P.I Art Center and I’m loving it. The school offers a diversity of programs and courses to explore art, craft and digital media. I took 3 classes; jewelry making, intro into Photoshop and Illustrator, and intro into Architecture drawing. The classes were taught online but the instructors were helpful and interactive with the students that gave the same as in-person learning experience. Special thanks to Chisa, my jewelry making class instructor, who guides and motivates me through the class to practice and better myself at making perfect accessories although I have no experience before. The staff are also patient, friendly and very helpful in responding to inquiries. I have already registered for my second semester and am really excited to look forward to learning more new things at P.I Art Center.

As an International Student, this school has been so far the best option I have found if you are interested in design. In addition, Im an Industrial Designer and I was looking for a school to freshen up some of my design skills.This school offers different programs in various design areas (Photography, Graphic Design, Jewelry Design, etc.) and also offers a certified program with Adobe (Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, and Premier). So, you have an extended variety to choose from. They also have different schedules so you can accommodate your classes to your own time.I was part of the Adobe Certified Programs and all of them were well taught and orientated to prepare you for the certification exam. They also helped me with all of my documentation and transferring from my previous school. Eli is great and always on top of my documentation, so I dont miss any deadline.Finally, this school has a 4-month-vacation option which is also great if you are planning to travel or simply taking some time off.

I have been taking classes at this school for over a year. Pi runs from beginner to advanced (portfolio class), and the teachers in all classes I have taken are very friendly and have a lot of knowledge and experience in art. There are various types of art-related classes, and it has the advantage of being able to fit into your schedule as much as possible.

I enjoyed all three classes I took this semester. Teachers are really supportive and professional, they gave clear instructions and suggestions. I love the variety of classes the school provided allow me to try new medium I never think I will have chance to do, and I cant wait to try out more.

Iam thankful to PI school because it helps me to find my way in photography. Great location in Manhattan, and they have great teachers with rich experience! I really learned a lot from Juju Park on Adobe Illustrator and InDesign. Besides Adobe classes, I also learned a lot from video classes and photography classes. All the teachers are patience.

It is a great place where you get chances to explore so many different areas of study that you dont really have time or chance to do so. During Covid-19, the school proposed a Hybrid way of study which suits me very well because I am quite concerned of going out hhhh. And one thing Im very impressed is how quick the EDU dept. response. Appreciates that efficiency!

I have always been a self taught artist, and I wanted to pursue something in fine arts but I was unsure and ended up pursuing finance. However P.I helped me have the right kind of portfolio preparatory experience that I needed before applying for my BFA program. P.I offers a wide range of study curriculum that allows you to experiment and experience things you like and are good at. I have done the Advance Portfolio Courses and BSA courses and I have to say it definetly helped me and shaped me as an artist. Adobe certifications helped me learn the digital aspect and Advance course taught me to see the world of art in its pure forms. Some of the teachers in fine arts, digital media, film, sculpting, fashion are phenomenal. The teachers are so encouraging. I found my mentors here who shaped my life :) The one thing I hate is, not being able to attend in person (which has been understandable and I am so glad vaccinations are helping change that). The education from this school has immensely helped me in my life.P.S Love the studio rooms, the tech rooms. Its an enjoyable space. I just wish we get in the future a larger artist hangout section. So we can build a community through different backgrounds of art.Teachers whose classes changed my life and I am thankful for - Joseph Zutelgte, Sho Konishi, Heejung Cho, Lee Smathers, Hyegyeong Choi, Xiao Wang, Ying Liu, Juju Park.

Year 2020 was challenging for all students specially the international students. I cant thank enough to Pi Arts both New Jersey and Newyork branch to help students like me to get through this phase. Their support, quality of education, their staff, their technology used and turion fee all was designed only with the intention to help students feel comfortable and perform better in academics. This school is the perfect place to enroll to start your designing career.

I was in this school for 2,5 years. I really love pi art center! I have learned different skills like making jewelry, drawing, sawing, silk printing and a lot more. Stuff and teachers are great! Yulia was my advisor , she is very helpful , friendly and polite! My favorite teacher is Chisa! Last semester I took all 4 classes with her )) Chisa is the best!!! I definitely will recommend pi art center !

This place is not professional at all. I think they underpay teachers as some of them dont even have an appropriate English and they are unprofessional. The administrative stuff is unresponsive and the dont work with good technological tools for the online classes. Dont waste your money in this school, it is not worthy at all!

Great teachers

One of the front desk asian girls who’s working at night on Monday was so rude and unhelpful. I asked something and she looked just mad and spoke with angry face. Feels like she wants to fight with me. If you just work at P.I for money, that’s fine but don’t affect your feeling to any students. Very unprofessional. I wish she got fired asap.

I just joined this school and I can already tell after being here for only two weeks that it is a great choice. They have plenty of art classes to choose from and you can easily find the ones that will fit your needs. Teachers are very helpful and they will guide towards your goals. This is my second semester at PI and I really enjoy mi time here. I have been learning different art skills. Its is located in midtown Manhattan so is easier to get there from anywhere. Teachers are very helpful too. So far a good experience.

Pi Art is an excellent learning center where you can learn anything and everything about art! Even for students who have never taken art, if they have the interest and will to learn, it is the perfect place for them. The staff members are very friendly and has many representatives for different languages so even if you have trouble speaking english, they are always there to help! Before and after tuition payment is very differentBefore the start of the semester, it was said that a 100 per refund was possible, but during the vacation the policy was changed due to corona, and the policy changed slightly, and the refund policy was changed. ) I asked and asked for help, and then I applied for a refund (I kept asking and confirmed if it was possible for a refund), and after leaving Korea, I did not ask for a few months (I said that it only takes a month to refund). I didnt sign it because it was non-refundable So Im thinking about what to do while consulting with a lawyerDo not trust their refund policy, I was promised that I can get my tuition refund for sure like 100% but they suddenly changed their words when I left US. Though I contacted and requested that I want to talk to someone in charge, they did not reply or answer at all. Their refund policy when I signed and paid my tuition was originally said that all tuition refund is 100% guaranteed until before semester starts but when COVID 19 happened, they changed their i20 policy and when I looked it up before I submit with my signature, they changed refund policy that they will not give refund if they think it is not reasonable or so, so I sent an email as I was on my vacation but I was going to leave US soon. They said they will check about this issue and asked me when I will leave. However, they did not reply with checking the issue, but still guaranteed that I can get my tuition back 100% that will take a month, so I can leave US with no worries. However, after I left US, they did not refund my tuition, and everytime I request for refund and contact that I want to talk to someone in charge, no answer at all but repeat that they cannot do refund although I didnt sign for the changed policy for refund. I am now talking to my lawyer what I should do. Never trust them, especailly for refund issue.

There are Japanese staff, but please do not think that it is OK if you are Japanese. The paperwork is not ready by the appointment time, and everything is passed on to responsibility. It may be an American way of working, but it doesnt keep up with the amount of work, or rather, it doesnt feel like catching up. I dont care about peoples status or life. Other people have suffered similar damage. It is irresponsible at other schools. Please be careful.
