American Beauty Institute is a great school and also has good prices. The people who work there are really nice and helpful. They make sure you understand the courses they offer and which way of payment is best for you. I highly recommend this school because its chill and affordable.

I attended American Beauty Institute earlier in the year, passed my test and Im very happy with the result. This is small school located right in Ktown. Instructors were friendly but more importantly, very genuine in trying to help those students that needed little extra help. If you didnt understand, theyll explain again. All you had to do was ask. Overall, Im glad I chose this school.

This institute gives perks both in location and curriculum. It is an optimistically comfortable and innovative environment to potential beauticians who want to learn as much as possible about beauty care; not to mention its affordability compared to other schools. Thus, making it all the more worthy of going in to! I cannot emphasize more how this school focused on building my career as a beautician and how they trained me extremely well before I went out on the field. I now receive awesome feedbacks from people. I recommend this to my friends who would love to do what I do now!

Wow this was place amazing. All the teachers were nice and kind. And I met many friendly classmates who speak same language. It was such an inspiring course to attend. I would totally recommend anyone who needs Beauty license to come here and learn together!

The school itself is very convenient and easy to get to! They truly do their best to work around your schedule, whereas other beauty schools had a stricter schedule. Aki and Arcella were my teachers-both very lovely and helpful and were able to be reached outside of class time for additional help. They were very encouraging, professional and kind- they helped me prepare for the test very well and were extremely detail-oriented. Huge thank you to the teachers and staff for everything, I am finally certified and able to follow my passion!

ABI is awesome. The instructor Gina for the nail specialty class is literally the best. She really takes an interest and wants everyone to succeed. She made class fun and we learned so much. Her step by step tutorials really helped prepare me for my exams.... Gina is by far the best instructor at ABI !!! I loved my experience in this school and in her class!

I had little interest in the nail technology from past and the I researched about various institutes and the joined American beauty institute which was a good decision I took .The teachers are very helpful and patient. The courses were flexible enough for my schedule and the content was practical and good to learn. I am enjoying it and would be hoping to use this experience when I start working on these technologies real time .

This is a great place for those who have little to no experience in hairstyling/cosmetics or even for those who want to pursue a career in it. Ive been taking these courses for about 3 weeks now and loving every moment of it. The teachers explain details very thoroughly and really assist the students when they dont understand something. Other than that, the location is great too! Right in the heart of K-town ^_^

I am currently taking Nail Tech. And I am so glad I chose this school. The teachers are nice and patient. It is nice to learn things you like. Especially, when the teachers wants you to learn the proper way.

I am currently enrolled in the Esthetics program here at American Beauty Institute. I’m satisfied with the course so far. The classes are extremely flexible, which allows me to work my regular job. This is perfect for people who work, commuters and/or parents, and I believe invites more mature students this way. The instructor is very thorough, understanding and nice, with real world experience to share and very helpful tips during both practice and theory. The classmates are super nice and respectful towards one another, which does not always happen in other schools! Everyone is here to learn. In addition to the course itself, the tuition is more affordable than any other school in NYC (that I have visited) and the location is extremely convenient. We use Dermologica in class, instead of a school branded product, which I believe is better practice. There is enough space and beds for everyone to view/practice on each other, with the instructor close by to help anyone. I’m very happy with my choice so far and feel so comfortable learning here. I visited 5 schools before choosing this one and feel I made the right choice.

I liked the teachers, they were very helpful and patient. The courses were flexible enough for my schedule and the content was practical to learn. Now I do alot of freelance work to hairstyle my friends look book and fashion shows, she commented that I had great techniques that would apply to different types of hairs and portray certain looks. This course really helped me in starting of my portfolio in hair styling.

I really really liked the people there. All the staffs and students were so nice and kind. It was also really convenient for me since it was at the korean town. I also think it was really nice that they put students with common language in a same class so we can all be productive and engaging in the class!

I really recommend this school for their Esthetics program. Not only is it affordable, but everyone there is also super nice and really tries to accommodate your schedule and helps you if you need it. The teachers are all very knowledgeable, especially the main teacher, Sobia. She has years of experience in the beauty industry and teaches us with all her experience. She is always willing to go above and beyond to teach her students and if you have any questions at all, she’ll take the time to explain it to you until you understand. I set up an appointment over the phone to come in for an information session. The woman I spoke with over the phone took down my information and I found it strange that I hadn’t received a call or text confirming my attendance. I showed up anyway at my designated time and there wasn’t a soul in sight. I called their number 3 times only to repeatedly receive an already full answering machine. I’m very disappointed in their unprofessionalism and disheartened by this ordeal because this school seemed like a great fit according to its glowing reviews.

Id like to share incredible experience I had there.I had a fabulous time learning and practicing with other fellow classmates, and clients. Everyone is an excellent teacher.

I had to give it five stars, because I couldnt give it more than five. I entered the institute in diapers and left prepared to start work. The staff is very nice especially the teacher Angela; who is a very prepared professional person. In general, I have no complaints about the institute. The only thing that remains for the academy is space, a little tight, but for the rest, I recommend it 100%. When you want to learn, even if it is in a room you will do it; you just have to have the determination to do it.Thank you American Beauty Institute for collaborating with the Hispanic community in their professional development in the USA.
