I took the knife skills on 7/22, and while the class was quite good, I think it’s also important for food safety to be taught in the classes.Several students were on their cell phone in between cutting vegetables without changing their gloves or washing their hands.Phones are super filthy and what they were chopping was going into a communal salsa I would have liked to try & bring home with me but unsanitary conditions forced me to withhold.

Great selection of classes. Ive taken two recreational couples classes here and they make great dates. The sushi class was very popular and had 8 pairs of students (the max), which i thought was too many for a productive class. Every group was doing something different, so although we all got to roll the sushi, not everyone practiced slicing fish or making rice. We ended the class with a delicious group dinner and had plenty of leftover food to take home too!The duck class was less popular and only had three couples, the perfect amount. We got to do more and still had a great meal and food leftover to take home.

Our class was great! The chefs were kind and encouraging, met everyone at their individual skill level, and gave all kinds of tips to make sure we could replicate the process at home. Ive heard of some cooking classes where you go home still hungry, but that definitely wasnt the case here- we were completely full, and even went home with a few to go boxes! Well definitely be looking at their calendar again soon!

My wife and I took the basic knife skills class with Sue Gonsalves. Getting to the class was a little stressful because we were running a little late and it was hard, the first time, to figure out exactly where to go. However, the class itself was great! Sue is a fantastic teacher and she made the class delightful. I wouldnt say that I learned a lot, but I certainly refined some skills, and the class finally convinced my wife to give up the 5-6 knives that she preferred. We will definitely be back!

If you are looking for an establishment to educate yourself in the culinary arts, this is not the school. Just through the application process, I received several emails and phone calls from employees who did not communicate with each other asking me the same question. Then after I applied and was waved my application fee due to the fact that I applied to ICC and they shut down, I was called repeatedly to pay the fee because no one had any idea what was going on. I’d like to state for the record that they inherited ICC’s applicant list from when COVID closed and contacted me, I did not want to apply then or now for ICE and now it is confirmed why!!!!!!

It was such a fun experience at ICE!! The ICE had such clean and modern facilities and the staff were so nice. The cooking class was also really really fun, the instructor would give step by step instructions and you get to taste everything with your classmates afterward . The overall experience is just fantastic! Should def give it a shot!!

I attended this location for a cooking class, and it was truly a legendary experience. There were approximately 16-18 couples that attended the class, not only did we all get to work as a team, (drink too) and enjoy all that we prepared but we were taught very useful tips and tricks with slicing vegetables, fruits, and meats. Looking forward to signing up for many more classes in the immediate future!!

This is a beautiful campus for a cooking school. The classrooms are filled with industrious students cooking food. The hallways of reeks of tempting scents. They have an indoor farm thats really cool to look at. Theres also a chocolate lab where they make chocolate from bean to bar and other goodies. Its a little challenging to find but worth it.

I throughly enjoyed the class I attended. Chef was professional. Demonstrations were very informative and not boring or intimidating. A clean up crew moved about the kitchen the entire class, keeping all stations clear of soiled utensils and replenishing as needed. I highly recommend the Institute of Culinary Education.

Great culinary school. I did an evening Thai cooking class here. The chef instructing was so much fun, gave us so many tips and tricks, knife skills and history of the wok! Even the beer they served was Thai! Cheese and crackers served as a snack whilst we watched a demonstration then a very hands on class, cooking 5 dishes. So much food to eat at end of class that we had take out bags to go home with. They offer so many different classes from chocolate making to mixology. So worth the money. Will definitely be back for another class!

I graduated from ICE 10 years and the only thing I learned was I wasted my money. I am financially ruined still to this day and I was never able to make a living in the industry. Do yourself a favor and take my advice, find another school hell find another industry. This school is just horrible.

My family and I took a private hands-on cooking class for my sisters bachelorette party and we could not have asked for a better evening! The staff was AMAZING and the food and atmosphere exceeded our expectations (and they were already high). It was truly a fantastic, well-done event from start to finish and one that we will remember very fondly for years to come. It was perfect for all ages and we havent stopped raving about it since we left!

I love this place. I seriously do. I was told about this place from a friend who attended ICE by going to their couples cooking class. He raved about it. So I decided to give it a try. I took a combination course Pastry and Bread. 12 classes each from 6-11pm. The class was amazing. I can make fragipan from scratch now. Before attending class I could barely boil water. Now Im baking complicated Gateau Pithiviers and cream puffs.... Theres classes for everyone here. Go through their catalog book online and have fun.

I enjoyed my class at the Institute of Culinary Education, but was hoping for more. They had a great setup with many kitchens for both aspiring professionals and home cooks. I took a calls called Everyone Cooks Everything. This was much better than most classes I have taken at other places because I actually cooked an entire meal start to finish. The one thing I didnt like is spending almost an hour talking about the menu and making changes to the ingredients/measurements. I wish they had made these changes in advance. This was suppossed to be a healthy class, but I found that there was way too much oil (and garlic for that matter) in everything. We ended up cutting this figure in a quarter and still thought it was too much. The chef and his assistants were super nice and helpful. They told us some interesting techniques as well. Make sure to go with a friend since you do the majority of the cooking with a partner. I feel that I am a seasoned enough cook that I do not get much out of these types of classes anymore. If you feel the same, I suggest you skip the one off classes and sign up for a multi-course techniques package.

I heard many good things about this school but only problem is the contacting. They put me with an admission representative that is hardly there. Been trying to scheduled a tour for the past 3 months. I call and all they say is if I spoke to an admission representative and when I say I contacted they tell me to contact again the following week. And yet again hes not there. He tells me through email hes been calling but I never receive a call from him. Heard its a very great school but the admission representative they put me with makes me wonder if I was an ICE student would they be there when I need them. To me that admission representative is unprofessional.

My team went here for a pizza making class and we had a blast! Its more like an event more than a class. They provided wine and cheese/bread to start us off. Then came a short picture time followed by a pizza-making class. The class was really a 15-minute demonstration of how to make it. Afterwards, we were given pizza dough to stretch out to make our own pizza! Highly recommended for a team offsite event. They have other courses like sushi, etc.

If you call ICE, you need to be ready for a really REALLY pushy, impatient, interrupting receptionist. OK once youve gotten through that... I took an Italian cooking class and the instructor was amazingly knowledgable about food and food preparation. Unfortunately, he was incredibly moody, and very rude towards some of the students--especially one or two who had a lot of questions. Mind you this was a small class and it was at times painful to watch. No teacher should ignore students or treat them that way---so Im divided about ICE. Really good on the one hand; really needs improvement on the other.

Took a 5 day classThe first day was disappointed the chef said the industry is low and there’s no demand on this field, you hardly make money. That moment on I felt discouraged. Instructor didn’t like that she had to repeat her self more than once. She explained twice and if you didn’t understand she would ask another student to help the other student, while she sat on the chair and went on her business; I thought she was there to help and some people need to be helped more than others. Don’t ask to many question or ask chef to repair themselves.Pre-madonnas

The Seafood 101 Class was a complete waste of time and money. The class was too big and instead of having the students participate in all the fish dishes at some stage of cooking, the instructor assigned dishes by MONTH OF BIRTH. So all the Jan - May people got all the fish dishes and all that was left for me - a NOVEMBER- birth was a root salad. I went to the class to cook fish not to make a root salad. The class was marked by confusion; I started one dish, was told half way through to stop and then after all was put away to go back to the original dish. Not all the dishes - skate, fo example, - were totall finished. For the calamari, the assisting instructor had to finish the dish so the students can eat. Class ran well over required time and other classes were leaving while we were still preparing ours. A waste of money.

Im san Alumni from the culinary Arts program. I loved it and returned to take pastry and baking. I love being a professional student. On the other hand I dont really like the Rec classes, it feels like the teachers sometimes dont want to be there. And I agree about the snobby reception Lady. Her attitude takes away the joy from wanting to even sign up for a Rec class. Final Aid department needs help seriously. They are very rude. And it a rush to get you out. Has to do with a lot of money and paper work that Ive never dealed with before annd they have this perseption that Im supost understand everything there saying with all these documents. They dont take the time to show you or explain to you.
