Good place, big and the instructors try their best to make it personal and fun with each child.Careful when signing up and make sure your kid actually wants to stick to it. My son started losing interest a few months in ( not to the fault of the instructors, they are great with the kids!) and per the contract you cant get out unless they physically cannot participate or you move away. So if they decide they dont want to go you basically throw your money away.

My 5th grader takes Martial arts here and really enjoys it. They have a thriving socially distanced class schedule for in person, and also offer virtual classes if that is preferable. My 5th grader is also enrolled in their distance learning day program. Super small group of kids with a real teacher helping them out all day to do their Launch Ed. Its working out well. A great option for working parents with kids who need structure. A bonus is they play fun gym and Martial arts games on break. The facility is clean and well run and the staff is always friendly and helpful.

This place is awesome! the Senseis (all of them) are very good and make the class lots of fun for kids (and parents). The kids exercise, learn karate, self esteem, discipline, gratitude, respect etc. And its a lot of fun!. I participated in the adults class a long time ago and I really liked it too (had to stop because of my back). Less important but also awesome, the place is big enough and comfortable for parents to watch their kids.

My 2 kids have been going to this dojo for over a year and a half and both of the kids have done well, learning discipline, and advancing in belt rank. The senseis are very personable and patient teachers who provide a structured environment for the students.

Allison, Dakota, Caleb, Nate, John and all of the staff are thoughtful, skilled, knowledgeable people who are amazing with kids. I am so impressed by their kindness and compassion teaching children with all different ability levels and backgrounds. They find ways to seamlessly accommodate children with disabilities to work right along with everyone else. They have an amazing reputation in the community and it is well-deserved. Im so pleased to have my child in their dojo.

I was offered by the PTA to purchase a fundraising basket benefiting Waterford Elementary. The basket was for a month of karate classes, I thought my oldest daughter could use it to keep her busy over the summer. The month passed and we ended up buying a 1 year membership. She loves it. The senseis are fantastic and patient. If you are looking for a Dojo, give the Eastwood team a try. They are an excellent team.

Senseis Allison, Dakota, Nate, and Caleb are great teachers. The kids (and adults) have so much fun! I wouldnt hesitate to recommend this place to all my friends.

Amazing staff, instructors, and facility!

Our son has been with this location for 2 years and finished getting his black belt with his original Sensie Dakota. Sensie Allison is the heartbeat of the dojo and makes it feel like home since we’re always there. I highly recommend this dojo. #CMAEastwood
